Well now, you did real good! I usually cannot make much sense of crochet tutorials....and I have to abandon the instructions. You are clear, slow, and use contrasting colors which makes it easy to view, and, I think, this time, I've got it! Plus, I like the simplicity of your stitches! Your towel came out beautifully! Thank you so much for sharing and showing us truly how to make a lovely towel topper! Shalom! 💜🕊✡️✝️💜
I’ve made two towel toppers so far. I’m looking for a better tutorial and I think I have found it. I find your demonstration easy to follow. Tomorrow I will try yours and come back to let you know how it went. I have made two towel topper using Taylor’s instructions and they come out great. Quick and easy.
I have been making these towel toppers for my family girls and they love it.thanks for such a great video and I love your voice and style of explaining. ❤
I have tried so many patterns for towel topper they never turn out right. This was an amazing tutorial I have made four already and it turns out perfect every time. Also I used to cut the towels in half tried this with the whole towel and I love it I will never cut the towel again. Thank you!!!
*LOVE YOUR VIDEO 💝💝💝!!!* THEY NEED TO ADD A "LOVE BUTTON, 😊! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS WITH US 😊💝!!! THIS IS THE 1ST TUTORIAL THAT MAKES THESE DISH TOWELS HANGERS SO EASY TO UNDERSTAND & THEY LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL 💝💜💛💙!!! YOU ARE A GREAT TEACHER WITH MANY AMAZING TALENTS 😊💝!!!
This is how I make mine. I use a ice pick for the holes. You can sell them or make wonderful gifts. I always use the whole towel, I never cut it in half. Thank you
Like Dragonflygirl, I watched several towel topper tutorials and this was the best! Some of the others are fancier, but for a beginner, like me, this tutorial was easiest to follow!
Thank you for this. Very clear and easy to follow! I didn't have hair clips but binder clips from the office supplies worked great. Also, I used a skip-stitch blade with my rotary cutter and this made perfect evenly spaced holes. It's hard to find a size 7 (4.5mm) hook at stores in the U.S. because it's between the US G and H sizes! I used an H (5mm).
I also use small steel crochet hooks and they go right thru both layers of the towel, and I also make pom poms and leave long enough yarn and tie the Pom Pom on, and close the towel with the Pom poms to close.
Acrylic yarn tends to get sort of slimy and gross when wet. Most towels are made of cotton or similar materials and using a cotton topper keeps the materials more consistent. Also cotton doesn't have much stretch and tends to hold its shape best even after multiple washes
Are your towels toppers sellable in double crochet stitch layout bc I was doing your towels and my family said that mine were hideous and won’t sell and now they made ma switch to single crochet so idk can you please get a girl some constructive criticism for me
Joann fabrics has them in the sewing department, or if you go to my blog www.Taylor-lynn.com to the post with this tutorial on it, I have linked some from amazon.

Glad it was helpful! Sometimes the little things like the whole towel being there can make or break a sale!
I agree. And I cut the towels in half, too, but I’m continuing to do so. I can make more gifts and I prefer them made that way.
Love this! I like that it didn't require a certain number of stitches. Very easy to follow. Thanks Taylor!
So thank you so much for sharing your tutorial I think this is the easiest one that I have seen I'll start using this pattern thank you so much💕

Like Dragonflygirl, I watched several towel topper tutorials and this was the best! Some of the others are fancier, but for a beginner, like me, this tutorial was easiest to follow!
Easy peasy. I watched some videos that required a sewing machine, but this was the easiest.
Glad I could help!
Great tutorial! I've watched most of them and this one I found to be right to the point and easy to follow. Thank you!!!!!

Your grandma must taught you how to crochet. Because my grandmother taught me the way you do it. Nice work
I love this pattern! So simple and easy! Thank you!!
It’s an awl, most craft or other shops have them. 😻
Great video can't wait to make someof these. Thank You
Veary nice to your crochet towel making processes with bottom crochet too cute, so I like & love you&your crochet project
I also use small steel crochet hooks and they go right thru both layers of the towel, and I also make pom poms and leave long enough yarn and tie the Pom Pom on, and close the towel with the Pom poms to close.
That is a great hack!
Thank you so very much for this wonderful tutorial! Made this so easy for me!
Using an AWL is great for this project, that is what I currently use. I have see others using a tiny hook & struggle. Through it!
Very good tutorial. Just love it.
Hi Taylor, loving all your videos. Thank you for taking the time. I can’t find the one where you make your scrunchies. Did you do one?
Awesome pattern Thanks
Hi i loved your tutorial . Can i ask did you use cotton yarn ???

Great tutorial! Thanks.
Hi where can I find the owl hold maker? I really liked ur tutorial. I starting to make some Christmas gift and this perfect gift. Thank u.
Luz Carlin if you visit her blog she has a link to some! Otherwise Joann fabrics has them
Taylor Flanagan I went to the link no info on pattern or tool?
Destiny Williquette amzn.to/2nEGyMz
The tool is called an "awl". That should help you find one :)
Yes, and it is not pronounced "owl". It is like all, but add a "w" sound. Awl.
I just love to learn how to make teeshirts and work
Excellent
Where did you buy your awl tool at?
very cute
What kind of yarn does she use is it wool or acrylic?
Hermoso..gracias
was looking, for an easier tortioral thank, you
Hi there, Do you have any of the awl tool that you use in tutorial, with the cover. I'm from Australia
I don't have a link but I have found that most the ones sold in my local craft stores all come with some sort of cover normally!
If you have a very small crochet hook you can try that. Most towel material is pretty easy to pierce.
Thank you so much for your sharing😄
I'm new making my towel holder I cut my in half. All of the people I know told me do all of the towel to make one will be more better used.
what is the tool your used to make the holes in the towel to make the needles go through easily
AWL

how far apart do you put holes
It's all personal preference but around a centimeter apart is a good starting point.
Great, but prefer them cut in half to make 2 out of 1 towel.
السلام
It's an "all" not an owl babygirl.
Awl.
