Thank you for making this video! I swear your videos are the only ones that make sense and are easy to follow. These will make great Christmas gifts! I just made one for myself using this video and it turned out perfectly! Thank you again! I cannot wait to learn more with you!
Nice tutorial. I like to put the first blanket stitch around the side edge of the towel and the next stitch I come through the same hole for the next stitch -I t makes it so the towel isn't sticking out on the edges like you have it. Just a personal preference but it does look nicer with the edge wrapped in my humble opinion. Like your button, too.
Thank you for this, I've seen several video's explaining this blanket stich and you make it very easy for me to follow being that I'm a lefty. Now on using your video for making these towel toppers. New subscriber
Thank you! This pattern is great. My buttons were 1 1/4 inch so I left two spaces and chained two on the button hole row. What size buttons do you recommend for your one space one chain method?
So as not to have to come back and rethread that double wool into the eye of the needle, I bury the tail into the fold of the towel and hold it in place with a pin. Great instructions
My towel is only 14 inches across should I just fit the other 3 starting dots to make 31 or go with just 1 extra at 29? And if I go with 29 is there anything else I need to consider?
I think you would be ok with 29. 31 might make the top bunch up too much. You might want to add an extra row or two before you start to decrease for the strap so the topper has enough for the button.
My suggestion would be to start off with an uneven number of blanket stitches so the first row of half double crochet will have even number of stitches. When working the deceases do them evenly each row until the strap row. The strap works best if it is an uneven number of stitches so the button loop can be in the center of the strap.
Never made one before and I want to thank you for this video. I'm new to chrocheting and mine turned out great.
Love you video. Easy to follow. I have made lots thanks

Good evening I'm so glad I found your towel topper I'm made topper before I like your method. Thanks
Thanks. This method sells well at craft shows too because you use the full towel instead half a towel.
Lovely and easy pattern.
Beautiful, thanks 🕊❤️

Very nice😇
Thank you! This pattern is great. My buttons were 1 1/4 inch so I left two spaces and chained two on the button hole row. What size buttons do you recommend for your one space one chain method?
I used a 1 1/2 button. Typically acrylic yarn stretches so I didn’t have an problem getting the button through the hole.
love it

i like these and dish soap liquid aprons
Yes those are super cute 😊
My towel is measuring 15” but when I could ever 1/2 inch I only get 29, If I go to 30 that’s to the very edge of the towel. Help
Sorry count
You could try using 28 holes. You might need to add or subtract a row to account for decrease in overall width as well.
Can I please ask where do I buy this pattern?
You can purchase this pattern in my Ravelry Shop.

What if my towel is 17 inches? How do I adjust pattern?
Thank you.

@@NinjaBunnyCrochet Thank you! That did work.
You didn't explain how to put the towel.... that confused me
