Nah he is one of the most stereotypical backline high aoe ranged damage mages in smite, he can be pretty predictable. It’s just his kit is quite malleable
Agni: "Just bitchslap him and keep him from being a sneaky ass bitch"
Agni is irritating to the degree that if he's doing *any* work on the enemy team, he's instantly in my crosshairs. That said, he is super easy to walk all over. Predict the dash, and wreck him. Guaranteed he used up some ults in the tussle, and he's as tanky as a wet piece of toilet paper. No dash, no survival. 🤷🏽♂️🧻
Tip against gods that build Bancrofts/typhons/hecate: build divine/brawlers.
I swear to god the next time I see another person not build anti-heal when fighting Anubis because "he isn't a healer" is getting 360 Ra sniped.

There's too much healing in the game . I use brawlers,my tanks use antiheal and Aphrodite and others will still just eat it.
@@ImperiaGin but in combat antiehal items are very strong tho...and with 8s duration...people usually just lack dmg or doesn't have enough cooldown to pressure their enemies...even anti heal won't help ya if your team is doing low dmg and let them heal

Also build the crusher against Ao Kuang and the Morrigan. It makes their invisibility useless

Good tip against Aphro! Antiheal is obviously another big thing against Aphro. Sometimes I'll legitimately buy Divine, Pesti, and even Toxic Blade on Sobek just to spite her as much as possible.
Fuck Aphro, all my homies hate Aphro.
Also, highly recommend building lifesteal against poke Gods

@@Adolfo_604 if you don't know what poke is then you are still new. Poke is when you do little damage to an opponent with no intention to actually kill an opponent.
As for scylla i would say her biggest vulnerability is early pressure .. she cant clear early . Her 3 really isnt a weakness since any good scylla can teleport away or read a situation way faster than you can react to catch her inbetween activating the escape .

I like to place that doggo, bait their abilities, and then teleport away before it hits me (unless it's unsafe for me to continue the 3).
@@zoomyracecar7849 you can pull some real nice baits with it . i highly reccomend blink on scylla you can litterally 3 then blink and be an entire lane away from your enemy before they can think or blink in kill and 3 out

I feel like Zeus is unplayable these days, even if a Zeus is positioning correctly, he's gonna get zero amounts of peel. Only way to play is if your support is a Geb.
Zeus is one of the worst mid laners, he has no CC, no immunity or no mobility, he only has damage, which most of the other mages have as well

another tip to fight aphro, though take it with a grain of salt
seperate her from her soul mate. a large chunk of the value she brings comes from this mechanic. she moves faster when she has a soul mate and her stun buffs the damage of this player. her stomp damages around her soul mate. her soulmate is guaranteed to be healed, and gets her total immunity ult to boot. if you can get her to break the tether, especially right after she has already used her stun, that's a decent chunk of time when she is basically a worse baron samedi
If the enemy team chooses Morrigan, go Heimdallr if it is available and don't go very hard CC jungles cuz she will benefit from that, also use gods that make damage in ticks such as merlin and Nuwa also fucks her, she will never be able to escape with his stealth.
About hera.
As a Hera main, her self heal is trash, only her shield. She has good lane clear and her burst damage is the scariest thing. If she misses her polymorph, she basically loses the fight, and if argus is down, the landing damage isn't there (which is usually how I one shot backlines). Try to force Hera to use her shield BEFORE she brings Argus out, since if she uses her shield while Argus is out, it makes an AOE field of damage around Argus and gives him speed buffs. And yes, focus Argus with your team. It is LITERALLY a 6v5 if you don't. DO NOT LET HER WAIL ON YOU WITH AUTOS, DODGE THEM! Her auto attacks reduce the cooldown of Argus by 1 second if they hit gods, or heal him by a large amount if he is active. It also reduces the cooldown of her shield, but I can't remember by how much.
Scylla main here, I almost always throw my 3 to safety then fully commit to the tf and if needed I TP out with massive distance and no delay. I'd say the best way to deal with Scylla is diving her when she ults or is trying to secure a kill. A healthy melee and carry and easily take her our while she winding how her ult because it takes a full combo to secure a kill.
Another tip against persephone: to juke her kamikaze plants, just run towards them.
Or ban her.

Tips for ao kuang players you can teleport just a short distance in the direction you don’t wanna go and turn back so u are invisible but the decoy is in the other direction

Tip for when fighting Vulcan when he ults he is nist likely to put it behind you try moving forward not too forward to be punished by a gank but enough to not get hit by the big ult
Another tip with Anubis is juke the wrap. It's his only cc and his main part of his kit, all of his damage comes after the wrap. Sure he doesn't need it but it definitely helps.
If he wants to guarantee a kill on pretty much any target, he *needs* to land his 2. Baiting it pretty much prevents him from killing you if he doesn’t ult (and even then, dashes and jumps will likely guarantee your survival).
Tip for zeus that's more applicable to anyone regardless of position or role. bait out his shield. He has no way to get a 3 stack quickly on a single target without it. Then you can dive him once that's down
As a persephone player I can really second that tip. When people drag fights around all over the place it really is awkward to have a strong impact. Another good tip vs her is to treat her like thoth, expect a ton of dmg from range and pay attention to her escape as it is often used for more dmg without her giving it a second thought.

Its also really easy to avoid her plants if you walk forward past them when they stop to attack you. I see too many people panic and try to run away from her plants lol

That Chronos tip is 100% true. I completely destroyed a Chronos mid because he thought he was immortal in his ultimate
Nothing feels worse then when I make sure I'm 50 yards away from the team fight to ult back in just for some Bakasura to jump on me and I just die cause the animation takes 50 years.
Could you d a video about Gold management. When to back or to wait till you have a certain amount of gold. When to buy chalice. When to Sell items and so on. Many players dont have a good understanding when to spent gold.
I know this doesn't have anything to do with the video but I'm a Xbox player and I have had problems with Baba Yaga lately. I have had audio issues and problems with the Potion Throwing. At max throw range and sometimes at any range (this is rare) the potions do not do anything for me. No visuals, no damage, and no effects. I can't report this because there is no way for Xbox players to do that and I kinda want some others to try it to see if it's just me for some reason.
Hey, try going into jungle practice and try throwing it max range on god bots. if it doesn't there should be a way to report bugs on the smite webpage. hope that helps!
Excited for Guardians! As a Guardian main it could help me change up my playstyles a bit or help me learn how to counter the counters.

Old video, but another tip for Chronos is remember that his ult brings him to where he was 8 seconds ago, so keep harassing him to reduce the value of his ult saves. The longer a fight drags on and the more resources he spends, the weaker his ult becomes.
pretty sure everyone already knows this but u can just walk forward to dodge pers plants makes her almost useless from what i've seen
I saw a pers that put flowers behind first tower and in front so when someone tried to do that they got murdered. It only worked cuz their team sucked and never stopped her.
She is pretty useless, specially with all nerfs that Hi-Rez keeps giving her

In competitive if try to dodge them the guardian and jungle will just hard dive me and CC me while I am distracted :( but thankfully everyone bans Persephone now

There's nothing more satisfying than playing Sol into Arachne players who don't get the memo. Sometimes I'll even max the 3 second just to mess with them. One of my top moments has to be killing a full hp Arachne with nothing but my 3 because she chased me for the full duration twice in a row.
Big tip with zhong and whats countered him since season 1 is legit just buy shell and upgrade it on a support and you win the fight, cause thats all hes ever been known for he ults you shell and since shell is meta and been meta for years you shell then hold W and kill him and if he stuns cool EZ dive no escape.
Shell has been reworked since season 1. It used to give protections instead of a shield. While still good it is less of a hard counter now
@@jeremy8223 Yes I agree it got reworked but with guardians running aura's and giving more protection and add shell that now yes gives a shield I would say that hurts him more cause his only big damage outside of that ult is small burst and with crit also in the meat once you survive the first part he just dies
Ancile is actually very good for half the mages in the game it stops any double combo or triple combo skill sets.
Best way to counter cerb as ah puch is to pop a health pot throw your 3 and run at him. His passive causes him to get stunned

@@distraction2803 Heres the catch the adc burns him in 3 or 4 seconds at full build and bc u should be in 5v5 team fights that shouldnt be a problem, his name is Argus the defender, so when hes not used as defender for Hera, in a equal skill match she and he are useless. The literal only way argus doesnt get insta burned is if she uses it to stop divers. Hes not oppresive or op most ppl just suck or are stupid as we ALL know as smite players

@@Jormyyy I think a simple way to fix her a bit would be to make it so that fully grown flowers travel in the direction in which you auto attack them. Instead of annoying auto-lock it would take a bit more thinking.
@@gnomegains That could be an interesting change. I personally think she should simply be able to be affected by crowd control during her rez. It's literally impossible to peel her off allies when she's in that state.
Idk abt pc but on console if u see a plant infront of u coming towards you just walk diagonally and it'll miss alot. But u have to face the plant
For Janus: punish the players that waste the 1 to try and get the combo, he has no mobility after that, specially with gods that can become slow inmune like Thanatos

I tend to build Poseidon auto based to chunk with the 2, since I know once I ult I am not safe.
"Aphrodite: She's not unkillable. Don't treat her like she is." *laugh spams in Tankphrodite.* She can build w/e and go for a totally meta build after, but if you can fit a Sov and Talisman on her, she's about as close to unkillable as you can get. 🕊💞💃🏼💞🕊
A tip against Chang'e: Play a poke God and make it dangerous for her to step up.

Aight, lets say youre playing Anubis, and the enemy gets a lot of antiheal. What should you do? Is there any way to re-counter the antiheal?
Get the support staff that boosts healing.
Get Asclepius, or drop an LS item for more damage if you're running two or more LS items I'd say. Pretty much run an traditional mage build.
Asclepius is really the only item you can build that counters antiheal but honestly with Anubis you might just as well build more lifesteal items due to his passive.
You can't really do much when you have brawlers, divine and toxic blade on you. You just wont lifesteal at all even with asclepius. But that's really just how it is on paper anyway. In reality you will rarely ever have 100%antiheal on you in a teamfight and with only 40% from brawlers or divine you will still heal plenty

I was watching the Episode until you talked about Aphro! As an aphro main I’ve battled 1v4 against my rivals in conquest with a good build and they weren’t able to kill me! While I didn’t kill them! I did lower their health to 40-60% healing myself and juking its called cooldown and knowing when to spam the abilities even with ult down she still has a second ult called aegis and beads! 😘

If you think the best way to counter zhong kui is to dodge his ult youre mistaken my friend for the scary part is AA zhong with his ability to not only shred tanks but to make squishies pray that he dies😂😂
Tip against Zhong: Shell
Zeus can defend himself by just throwing his shield on the ground and hitting it.
Change just doesn’t die in solo

Ra passive also makes him very fast so juking as ra is pretty easy

It sounds basic but honestly just think of the game in terms of what abilities the enemy god has and then say accordingly. Dont group against a hades, stun anubis one, etc.

Kumbahkarna and Sobek are the best guardians IMO Nike is a nasty warrior.
