I considered getting this and watched a bunch of videos on it but then started looking into an iPad Pro using sidecar and I determined that was the better option since I can also use the iPad without the computer. Got an iPad for even cheaper than the espresso display
Being a windows user, this thing would be a boon and a half. With me being an amateur writer, I like to have a vertical screen when I write something.
You can get an iPad Pro for that money, which you can use as a wireless monitor too.

What they don’t tell you that the stand doesn’t come with it it’s extra
The pen doesn’t come with it you gotta buy it the $499 becomes a quick $700 before you know it

Much better! There are still some slight room reflections. If you wanted to clean that up you should put some acoustic treatment panels on your walls. Great vid by the way. I’ve been seeing this in ads and have been curious about it.

Nice looking screen, however for the price id simply have dual iPads set up or people with just a laptop id add an iPad over a second screen. Get it for some uses but think its a luxury item to be honest. Nice video though
This one... if the magnetic stand is high quality (which I believe it is) is a great monitor to solve even my at home setup. For business trips it takes care of all of my needs, definitely buying it soon.
Its coming down to either this or the ThinkVision for me, only thing that sucks is I'll have to have yet another pen since the Precision Pen 2 for my P11 won't work with either 😢
Not in the market, but you have peaked my interest.
I was interested in the 17" 4K version, but they lost me at 60Hz. I'm sure it's great for office and photo work, but I'm not spending $800 on a monitor to use Excel.
Does this match 4k resolution or like the Retina display on Macs?

Yes, we have tested our espresso Display to work as a secondary screen, however Apple doesn't let you use touch on external displays. Samsung Galaxy devices with DeX work really well with touch.

Another random question on this espresso monitor. Have you been able to figure out what protocol they use for the stylus support? Is it a traditional Wacom based, or MPP based pen? I have a handful of stylus and would be great if I decide to go this route, be able to save a but right off the bat. Clearly at some point one would want theirs for the magnets etc. but from a functionality standpoint it would be great to know!!!

Hello, is the espresso monitor working with the Apple Pencil?
Great question @SANDY22470! Apple Pen uses a different technology from the espressoPen which means it's not compatible with our display. While other third-party pen may work on the display if they use the Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP 2.0)

Absolutely! We have plenty of folks using the espressoDisplay with their iPhone. Simply connect your phone to our display using an espresso HDMI cable and an Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter. A power source is also needed via the USB-A end of the cable.
The espressoHDMI adapter and Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter are purchased separately. ✨

@tomswallafathii6189 Hi there! Our displays do not carry a battery. Just plug the espresso Display directly into your device with our USB-C cable, and you're ready to go! However, there are some cases where you might need an extra power supply. ✨

@@tomswallafathii6189 It's a display and designed to be a companion device to enhance your setup to take anywhere. It's the world's thinnest :) It's also compatible with many tablets out there as a second screens. Tablets are great but a display like ours is serves a different need. For us, it's all about more screen space, anywhere!

I’m visually impaired so I can’t see resolutions below 4k unfortunately, otherwise I would buy one
For the size of the display, 1080p is optimised for using it as an additional monitor for your working needs (browsing the internet, viewing documents, using project managers etc.). Though 4k would be great for streaming videos, for computer use, it would scale everything smaller which would be hard to read on a 15" display 🙂

I'll recommend you check the Viewsonic 15.6 inch. It comes with stand, shield and charges as well. Not sure about the stylus ❤

You lost me at 500 dollars. I got one for 110 no touch screen but has a 2.5K display and its 16 inches at 3:2 and finally a IPS display that can do proper HDR which not even my expensive DELL 27 inch monitor cant do proper HDR
over prized and better portable ones for less and more connectivity + use as main screen for half of this ... They should call them "nesspresso" its also expensive ;) But thank you for the video and efforts you do :) Keep it up
