Which is the best area in Phuket for property investment?
In this video, I discuss the best location to invest in property in Phuket. When I first started working in real estate in Phuket, most projects were being sold in the south and the southern west coast of Phuket in places like Rawai, Kata, Karon, Patong and even as far up as Kamala.
These days, the shift has moved North to the Cherngtalay area. You can find a lot of the new luxury villa and condo project near Bang Tao beach and Boat Avenue which is a very popular area. Moving further north, Layan beach is also seeing lots of development with more luxury villas and condo projects currently under construction.
My favorite restaurant in Boat Avenue is Little Paris. You can find little Paris here: maps.app.goo.g...
If you are looking for a great place to stay around Boat Avenue, I would highly recommend Homa. Home is a serviced apartment with top quality amenties in a great location.

I agree with you. Layan area will surely shape up nicely. It is strategically located in my opinion.

Haven’t the Russians damaged the whole Phuket lifestyle ? I’ve heard a lot of negative comments around this issue in regards to pushing up prices and diminishing community vibe. Or has it calmed down now.?

The Russians have definitely had an effect on the island, as I suggest in one of my previous videos. For me, it's still the best place in the world to live (although I am a bit bias!) You can still enjoy a fantastic life here in Phuket, Russians or no Russians!

@@livinginphuketthailand I think it will be an effect that will diminish over time, its a temporary (5 year ish) issue

It's the reason that I don't want to go there anymore.

@@netraksasin that's very sad. I used to go to Phuket a lot from 2010-2019, it got busy but was still very good. I hope that one day it will return to how it was. Where do you go now?
