I plan on investing in land here in the United States in sate that includes Utah, Montana and Rhode Island. Overseas I plan to get land in Grand Turk, Canada and Slovenia.

My land in vestments would be here in the USA TN / NJ
European land investments would be Poland / Germany
Lagos and Vegas
Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking the bold steps we need in other to reach our goals.
I think it's not always about fear, Sometimes realistic factors discourage people from reaching their goals in life. For instance, I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value

I bought a piece of land in 2007. I rented it out ever since. Today one year rent is way higher than the original purchased price.. 😁
I am assuming you bought cash, so there was not much loss to you from paying in interest to the lender.
How do you rent it out?
Land has been the best investment since the beginning of time.
@gooka boo car is a liability. it constantly takes money out of your pocket
Land before Time
It’s so sad that It just sinked in my head but I guess it’s never too late
Land is Very Inexpensive to Own as a Long-Term Investment. When you buy a piece of land for the right price, there are no mortgage payments to make, no utility bills to pay, the cost of property insurance is nominal (if you have it at all) and property taxes are extremely cheap
Is this a sarcasm!
That i am unable to understand?
@@kartikpatel397 It's true what @Talking life posted. My mom bought land in Forida in the 1980s.
Hard to get a bank to finance it like you would a home mortgage, so no leverage.
Jim Dandy how so? Why would they not invest with you?
@@gu3sswh075 Who are you referring to? I'm just saying that, in contrast to buying a home, lenders like banks, etc., will only go 50 percent LTV on raw land.

regarding your question at the end investing in land away from the sea would be a good idea as sea level rises properties and even cities may move away from the ocean fronts which will increase the market price that is my assumption

Has everyone forgotten that Holland reclaimed land from the sea befor the Arabs and China built islands?
@Robby Dey very nice answer.
Hi Aluxers,
Thank you for the opportunity to receive information.
My favorite place to invest in land would be Sint Maarten.
Because of the possibility to invest a small or large amount. The prices depends on the size or location of the land of choice.
Best greeting,
Donna
As Africa becomes the next China, foreighn Investors are finding more ways to own land to cash in on the growth of the middle and upper class. Luxury Land in Muthaiga, Nairobi is predicted by experts to surpass Alberton, Carlifonia by 2035. Most of it however is bieng swept up by Billionaires looking for a chunk of Africa's prestige real estate, or by foreign embassies and dignitaries. The area is 71.7km wide with a 20km square forest within it; hence land is EXPENSIVE cause no one's willing to sell their property.
Melvin Mungai "Luxury land in with Aiko, Narobi is predicted by experts to surpass Alberton, California by 2035. "
Surpass it what sense? More $ / square foot ??
@@gu3sswh075 Certainly, per square foot. Limited available acreage in this case as the area is a controlled Zone around a climatically cool indigenous forest with some of humanities first applications of fire to cook sorrounded by Surburban stand alone properties with a mix of large indigenous trees within them. The Governments of Australia and Israel just completed construction of their largest African Consulates within the area, that currenty hosts the United Nations Environment Programme hedquaters, American, Canadian, Belgian etc Embassies; hence growing competition from International Investors who raise the value and sell to foreign Governments representatives or other Investors has exponentially grown in the past 10 years, making it the continents fastest growing in value as you cannot Leverage the land( construct mutli-dwelling properties)due to strict zoning laws.
I’m so happy Alux exists
The only thing I would differ with here is that you do not have to maintain it. You do, you have to keep the grass cut, you have to fence it, and make sure that squatters don't move in. Depending on where in the world you buy land, laws are different and might protect squatters. Make sure to do your homework.
Yes but peanuts compared to homes
Thank you for sharing alux. Always have this idea but love watching this video to motivate me even more
#land I would buy land with access to fresh clean water.
You will do your own artesian well for the water
Consider the usage of surrounding land, and the amount of construction in the area. Ground water is easily contaminated by selfish developers and homeowners who simply MUST have golf course quality grass. (and check for nearby golf courses and country clubs).
If possible, please create a folder and gather those topics related to “Real Estate” in the play list. Your videos are very inspired and useful.
And who do I contact when I want to inquire about some land?
This is your real voice Mam ❤️
Well Jamaica would be my go to investment as it relates to land banking. Reason - I live there and there are 10+ parishes in Jamaica and just a few are built up. Sooner or later the rest will be built up because of overpopulation. So invest in the land spaces in soon to be built up parishes from now to reap the profit later.
@B Gents Ja Cool vacation trip. I would be skeptical of Jamaica having a lower currency value than the U.S..
Paul Stanley yeah that’s totally true but hear why it is beneficial tho. Most Properties are quoted in US dollars in Jamaica because the Jamaican dollar keeps on sliding. That’s one of the main reason why the dollar has no value here because we focusing on two currencies and the US dollar is always the preferred use of transactions. So that shouldn’t be an issue.
@@bgentsja6762 The value of Jamaican Dollar in 2016 was 67 Jamaican dollars for $1 U.S.. Now (2020) it takes 150 Jamaican dollars to equal $1 U.S.. That's worse than 2016 & 2006. The "sliding" Jamican dollar will affect the value of land in Jamaica even though it looks good for farming. Still, Copper is the main Gross Domestic Product there though.
Paul Stanley I beg to differ. The fluctuation of the Jamaican currency won’t affect the property. On the contrary it’s the opposite. What makes a currency less compared to other currency is inflation and other factors. So the dollar would have to meet the standard of the property rather than the other way around.
Paul Stanley that’s the reason they say land banking rather than saving because when the value of a currency fluctuates overtime, the land won’t. The land value will increase overtime.
EXCELLENT information! Thank you very much!
loving your content, its mindblowing
I think commercial real estate vs residential real estate investing will be a great subject 😎😎😎
I 100% agree with you
if giving the chance, I will buy large area of wild land in the amazon basin. We are losing bio diversity at alarming rate, future generations will greatly appreciate land left in its original state for research and recreational purpose. As a result, those land will probably worth ten times more than today when most of the area has been developed.
Smart...
That’s good but there is a documentary where a man did this but the problem he found was that there was no way to protect the land from the deforestation companies as they have little acknowledgment of the land rights and laws and also a lot of the time have involvement in criminal activity.
Just a warning
You’re onto something 👍
Even affter 100 years we don't need Amazon land bcoz we arree havingg enough; land ...
Land is still risky because NO one is really allowed to own land, taxes are still due on land, it may be held longer than you expected, the value could drop due to eminant domain, and, the land owner is still liable for attractive niusances and accidents that take place on that land. Not to mention the liability that exists from land features that harm others or the property of someone else (like falling trees). Due dilligence before your purchase, put money aside for insurance and insurance deductables. Check your city/county for "future land useage". Land ownership is still a liability. It only becomes an asset when you sell it for a profit.
The philippines, spain , italy and japan. I would love to own land here but also develop some of the land to homes or estates
Land is extremely cheap in Japan
I’ve been thinking about it!! I have no idea what I would put on it but definitely worth just doing it and worrying about it later. Thank you :)
I’m thinking about somewhere near Temecula, California
I am buying land in my home country of Zambia like there is no tommorrow. Most of it good fertile land ideal for farming and also we have plenty of minerals so l might just own a mine too. Thanks for the video, pobo!!
Maybe you should try stock investment, is the easiest way of steady income
Nice Alux saludos 🇲🇽
best youtube channel...Love from india
The conundrum that I am in is that for me to buy land I would need to get a loan, attached to the loan is interest, and loan interest seems to be pretty high these days. So I'm thinking the returns you should get on the land a few years from now, you will be paying in interest to the lender. So does it really make sense if you cannot buy cash or get a really low-interest rate?
I’d love to acquire land in Spain, Maderia, Barbadoes, also Ghana.
I agree. I live in Ghana and I see expat business thrive in the area of agric and real estate. Africa is the place
Goldie when “Co19” has subsided I will be definitely looking into there.

I agree with you Alux 100%. If you put all your money in the bank the interest will be eaten by the inflation. If you put it in stocks, if the economy sneezes you will catch cold. Land is a sure bet.
First if price of land go up during 10 years by 80-150%,your real estate will also have an increase in the price.
So if you buy a real estate you have 2 types of ROI, rent and original price.😉
The building loses value cos of repairs and maintenance over time and taxes are higher.. land not so much
You can rent land
Continue to invest in capital improvements on farms, including new wells and tile systems.
I discovered your channel today and I’ll be chilling tomorrow catching up with all the video. Happy Sunday everyone
Is it good to take loan to buy land?
This is the video i need. ❤️
Alux has A LOT of good video clips.
One of your best videos
This video is true. I bought a few vacant land parcels when I started my career. Now the land is worth 10 times what I paid for it.
I’m 22 years old from California, found some land 2hrs away from LosAngeles I’ve been saving up so will be able to actually purchase it in cash if I decide to go for it it’s 10acres , but I’m first in my family to purchase land so I have many questions and don’t know if I am doing the right thing 😭 I wish I had more friends with land etc. Wish me luck guys 🤞
I bought 10 acres in south Texas & sold it to a utility company. I bought it to, firstly, use the money from selling it to send my kids to any university anywhere in the world & graduate without any student debt. Or for me to retire & build a house on it & grow oranges on 9 acres of it. The opportunity arose & I sold it last year. I paid off my sons' student loans & retired 10 years earlier than we had originally planned. We moved to a nicer area & took a vacation to a Florida beach. My wife & I will never have to work again. If I get the chance to buy another farm I will. Another corner lot. I still own some rental real estate. My sons, both, want to own rental properties & farmland, too. I'd like our family to stay with both types of real estate. I wish you the best of luck!
Land is something that they don’t make more of it. I started investing in land in 21, investors are are contacting me to sell. NOPE.. keep looking you will see the price of land is starting to increase hence you holding on to it and making money off of it. Or if all else fails build a property and rent it out or live in it.
@@leeguy1183 Good luck Kay Gee! We own a farm in Ontario, we get offers from our neighbours frequently. It's a great investment!
NO! Don't buy there I bought land in Lake Los Angeles and the city won't let me build anything not a house or commercial. Most land out there is environmental protected.
I will definitely buy land in my country (India) because it's one of the most fertile land in the world and it is very less likely to get affected by global warming
Yes and population is growing rapidly
Do it big boy while it’s cheap

Texas & southern Canada! I've seen, where climate change is affecting this part of the world. A large company made me a good offer on a very small farm I was planning to retire to later. I wasn't even planning to sell. We just closed the deal this month. I'm staying with bare land & farm land. Very low maint. & I lease out to farmers. My parents were very poor as kids. They, & their siblings, picked crops by hand to feed their families. I learned to value good land. They aren't making any more of it.
I agree with this comment 100%,

Lagos, because it has the most expensive land in the world.
My instinct is telling me Australia and I honestly don't know why. I'll do some research. Besides, Cyprus, crotia and france seems to me to be good choices too. what do you think Alux?
I am looking to buy raw land (at least one hectar) next to a river in my country, Romania. I want to build my off the grid home there. You might think that land in a country like Romania will be cheap. Yes. It is cheap. You can find raw land for 1€ a square meter. You know why? Because hardly anyone has papers on their land. I am not sure why, maybe because getting the paperwork right for your land is expensive (2.000 €) or because the way in which land is being passed down from parents to children is very bureaucratic and complicated here, you are going to have a hard time buying a piece of land or a house LEGALLY. So I have been looking for THE land for more than a year. I am having a hard time because I want it to be as cheap as possible because I will invest 3-4 times more in the property to make it what I want.
I'm thinking of investing in our business, rather than investing in other.
And I'm thinking of agricultural land eventually or soon along with RUclips.
Please pray.
