    This is definitely a complicated watch and I’m so grateful that you made this video. I thought I had a good understanding of the watch, but your tutorial video has made me realize the watch is capable of so much more. I have learnt so much from this so I can’t thank you enough for taking the time to make this and educate us. I have never spent 600 GDP on a G-Shock before (managed to haggle the shop assistant to take 100 off and even still I’d be embarrassed to tell anyone how much I paid for it). I went for the green model and I think its one of the most stunning watches I’ve owned, and I currently own a Omega Speedmaster and a couple of Tags which is a brand I went off years ago, but I might have a look at there recent watches but they seem to be overpriced. Anyway, this watch has many functions, but the real magic is how this watch looks and feels. I was so impressed with the chunky, solid and hefty feel. This is definitely one of Casio’s best made watches. I wear it for fashion and I also wear when I’m up in the mountains. I would encourage anyone to go and just pick one of these and try it on. I went to look at one and just had to buy it there and then. The price still doesn’t sit right with me seeing as its just as expensive as my lovely Tissot PRX automatic, but after seeing your video and learning more and more about this watch the more I see why the price is high. Many thanks bro and apologies for the super long comment. 😅

      I did the same thing in October. I walked in a Jared’s in Knoxville Tn, seen it, tried it on, fell in love, plopped down $875.00 lol. Oh my.

    • @ph1lo
      @ph1lo 4 месяца назад +1

      @@tennbones Anyone who has a taste for G-Shocks will find this one extra special as soon as they see it in the flesh. Then after picking it up most G fans will fall in love. It just feels and looks top quality and even though it’s a big watch it’s comfortable thanks to those wings under the strap that wraps around the wrist. I’d never go bigger than a 42mm watch such as my Speedaster, but with G-Shocks there’s an exception. It has a really nice weight to it, but again it doesn’t feel it when on the wrist and feels so balanced.
      I hope you’re enjoying yours bro? What colour did you go for and have you had any issues?

    • @tennbones
      @tennbones 4 месяца назад +1

      @@ph1lo I have the green model and love it. You are right, when you pick it up the first time it feels like pure quality. I love the accompanying app as well. If there was ever a watch the Terminator would wear this is it lol. Those sharp bezel lines with the angles and shapes give it the toughest look I have ever seen. No issues here! It is amazing, a beast.

    Ovaj Mudmaster je prelep!
    Još samo da napišem da je ova Casio aplikacija jako, jako loša😡, s obzirom da je Casio globalna kompanija mislim da ne zaslužuje ovako loše softvere kao podršku svojim proizvodima.
    Znam da prate sve komentare, a tvoj kanal je baš jak u horološkom YT svetu, pa se nadam da će ga prevesti i učiniti da se aplikacija poboljša jer je užasna!

    I’d buy it instantly as every day watch (home/office/chillout) if it would feature phone notifications while for hikes and sport I’d use GPR-H1000.
    Quite pity but I’m now too used to notifications on wrist and comfort of having my phone in silent mode all the time.

    could I ask for a video on how the auto time synchronisation on the Casio watch app works please? As I have updated my gwg b1000, but it still doesn’t auto signal receive at night even though my other g shocks do. But it does some how sync with the Casio app even though I never leave the app open? It also shows rcvd when it does this? Does the app use the phone gps to atomic sync the watch via Bluetooth? A video on this topic/issue would be really really helpful. Thanks so much for your great videos!!!!

    This is by far my favorite looking mudmaster and one of my favorite looking G-Shocks ever. Sadly i don’t think my 6.75” wrist can pull it off. I really wish Casio would make smaller versions like how the older generation Frogman was much smaller than the newer ones like the GWF-D1000.

    I have had the same watch the same colour for a few weeks now and in is a great watch but like you I don’t like to have to pull out the crown to set things. The mission log only runs for 12H but it is very accurate it even shows wear your have walked up and down in side super the markets in the map but it is power hungry and drains the battery luckily the solar charging should build up power again you can also input the altitude numbers manually In the app the mission logs has to be running to be able to record the altitude and also you have to long press the button then the second hand moves to the Bluetooth symbol I have had the watch long so I have had more time to play with it but you have given every one a great explanation how things work hopefully you have got you breath back now

    I think i need to get this watch. I have the B100 and i use it for work because of the location tracker. I have been working my 9-5 civilian job for the past couple years but im going back down range and i need the location tracker again. However, it seems casio has discontinued the old casio connect app and it doesnt appear to have the location tracker ability - or i just cant find it.
    Does anyone know? I dont mind having an excuse to buy a new watch lol but since the new app doesnt seem to have the location feature (where you use memory to save your start point and then head out, then later use indicate to have the watch point you in the direction of your starting point along with how far away you are)
    If anyone knows what im talking about and can help, it would be much appreciated
    Thanks

    I bought it but the operation is very poorly designed. It seems like primitive MS-DOS in times when we use Windows 11. The app is miserable, I hoped it would allow 100% operation, unfortunately it is not. Confusion, the days of the week can only be displayed in English, and T/M/Y cannot be selected. In all other areas the watch is top level. Hello Casio, for that much money I expect an appropriate update
