@@Gabriel_Santar Nope, £4.99 for the DLC proper. The new update is a free 'horde' or 'exterminatus' type mode, 12 levels to get though.

I really hope they do a demo. A demo would be a perfect way to show that they are following a classic sort of format for their game. It would also be good way to show they are confident in their game.
I just want lots of customizations. Think how great it would be to not only rep your own chapter, but also use the character models as testing for paint schemes? With SM2 having most of the armor types, you could plan out any unit's look before even building the model! (May only be something for indecisive people like me, but would really love it)
That’s my hope. I’ve loved Warhammer lore for a while now but I’ve never owned any models because I have no idea what design I’d like to stick with.
Being able to find that out with customisation in-game would be awesome.
I’ve always wanted a places to do this online, I’m crazy surprised it doesn’t really exist. This would be a fantastic place for it.
I suspect that the operations mode will be similar to World War Z missions. (Saber produced this too).
In space marine 1 you couldn't mix and match DLC armor. But the unlockable armor parts. Maybe they do the same here in SM2

i completely agree on your season pass comment, i want to know what i am actually purchasing. So im hoping they will cover what is included in the season pass
Well, we do know that the energy device from Space Marine 1 was still around after that game, since it was the McGuffin for the Boltgun game... And if I remember correctly, at the end of Boltgun, the inquisitor took it with him. So, did he take it to the planet of Space Marine 2? Perhaps the expansion for Boltgun that just released might shed some light on that...
Another reason I like console, don't have to worry about if I can run the game. I know we'll get 60fps and that's perfect.
If you can run WWZ at high/ultra, then SM2 should be fine on PC.

This is just THE perfect 40k game, and it RIGHTLY captures the scale of warzone in our favorite grim dark universe. It's all there: gigantic orbital battles, millions of hordes of enemies of the Golden Throne, armies of the Guard and PDF forces, Tech-Priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus supporting the equipment/gear and of course His Angels of Death at work, better than they have ever looked.
I was a little worried about the variety of Tyranid bioforms based on the first gameplay trailers, now they have dispelled all doubts - here we have all types of Horma/Termagants (and gargoyles), melee and ranged Warriors strains, Raveners and Lictors, Swarmguards and Hive Tyrant. They nailed it.
In the shot with the hangar 2:30 (where there is a group of spacemarines, repulsor tanks and redemptor dreadnoughts) I see two veterans of the honor guard. Can we hope for the presence of Marneus Calgar in the game or at least for a small cameo of Roboute Guilliman or Magnus the Red?) I would be more than happy to see any more named characters beside Sevastus Acheran and our boy Titus (maybe a cameo of -Lieutenant- GENERAL Mira). And, please, at least ONE shot of the Titan fighting hordes of Tyranid carnifexes/hierophants in the distance. The game is already 12 out of 10. If it has a high level of optimization so that it works adequately on the previous generation of video cards, your game will go down in the annals of the history of Warhammer 40k games. Saber and Focus make the Emperor proud of their work. Good job, kings.
P. S. I hope the Boltgun sternguard marine Malum Caedo will make a cameo in this game, the guy clearly was a big supporter of our boy Titus based on his taunts xD

Love the passion val, gonna be pre-ordering so hopefully I'll see you in some of the multiplayer lobbies in early access.
PC specs are going to be really high. If you look closely at the footage they've given us so far, you can see some stuttering even with TAA enabled and upscaling artifacts.
Still want to know where's Titus's Deathwatch pauldron is.
Ex-deathwatch are allowed to keep their pauldrons but I imagine many of them choose to wear their parent chapter colors once they return home. In Titus’s case he was serving as a black shield under an inquisitor who hated space marines so there’s probably a degree of shame there.

Personally I would love to see a Terminator class added down the line, both for operations and PvP.

Haven’t finished the video yet, but I just hope we see some Grey Knights given this is taking place within the current lore and there’s Chaos involved. Like, a cameo of Voldus and Bobby G at least talking to Acheran or something small will do just fine! More epic would be to run into Garran Crowe and some Purifiers doing their thing against some Tzeentchy stuff with Draigo materializing to help out…

Honestly?, I think they'll add more game modes with larger map's and player counts as the game progresses. Which will be great because i genuinely think you're right about the MP being what keeps bringing people back.
And on the topic of MP, what i want to know is: will we be able to have completely custom paint schemes or if they'll just have pre-made one's? Personally I'd love the completely custom one's because then they could have "Create chapter" instead of the "Create clan" that most game's have.
So we'd get to see people and their friends form entire chapters, with their own lore, colour schemes, so on and so forth. All of which would be seriously awesome y'know?
I would like to see librarians and terminators. I would like to see some level of negative affect maybe not super but subtle like if death guard brings down toughness or gives a rust affect in PVP or 6 on 6. Or if the world eaters gain a level of bezerker strength based on the number of opponents in his squad vs the opps.or
If salamanders gain a level of boost to melters even gain one since I haven't seen one. Things like that small things that could really set them apart as Astartes chapters and be a game changer while as a unit.
Biggest thing for me tomorrow will be if we get a beta or not. I won't be heartbroken if we do not, but I'm getting the feeling that we will. Customization is second. Def keen on seeing some options for Chaos. In my head, I already have my loyalist marines picked out, but I really want to see what Chaos will have to offer. Tomorrow cannot come soon enough!!!
I hope we get Chaos Operations like in SM1 with the Chaos Exterminatus
I’m thinking the beta will be out in a few weeks. I received an email from focus last week saying they will be charging me for my collectors edition next week. I am thinking once we are charged we will get our beta invitations. Also was glad to see it confirmed I’ll receive my physical game prior to early access.
As a lifelong StarWars fan it's nice to see enthusiasm for something new to franchise. I've gotta say Warhammer has set the hook, and I'm definitely getting reeled on-board.
I just want confirmation of Raven guard and lightning claws with the jump pack intercessors
I think 6x6 will be the main game mode for the initial map sizes for infantry and close quarters with hopefully larger maps and game modes with larger squad sizes and vehicles coming later. It would be great to drive and ride in an Impulsor or even a Land Raider with the passengers manning the guns like in a Battlefield game. I hope they bring in new campains and coop missions I'm different settings with other enemy factions.
I hope there is armour, colours, accessories etc. customisations unlocked through challenges to show off your skill in a unique way

I know it's a pipe dream, but if we do end up getting the primarchs speaking one day, I hope they use the audiobook voices, they absolutely nail the feeling of a primarch
I just hope there will be more Operations Missions than there are in Darktide...Really don't want to be stuck playing the same 8 missions over and over.

Even in low specs I still serve... I wonder if the game will include DLSS to improve the fps, because this game looks fantastic but with the action it shows, +60fps at any resolution (1080p, 1440p and 4k, especially) is a must.

I hope they do expand more on team sizes for multiplayer. 6v6 is bery bery small.
I think 12-16 per team would be the sweet spot for the biggest game mode though.
So say two 6 man squads per team vs two apposing 6 man teams.
I hope they will add Terminator Armour in the future wanna rip tyranids appart with stormbolters and stormcannon would be so awesome 😎

If you’ve played the other game by Sabre WWZ, the leveling system looks extremely similar. If they use that game as a basis for the multiplayer pve, unlocking cosmetics and weapon upgrades will be a GRIND.
I was worried about the PC Specs but after seeing that the developer is Saber Interactive I felt calmer, because I remember that World War Z was very well optimized, so SM2 will probably follow the same line.

I can't stand Space Marines, and I've fallen out with GW recently. But I'm not gonna lie, I'm super, super excited for Space Marine 2, despite all the calls to boycott it.

@@codstary1015 Have you been living under a rock? It's basically been all over reddit, youtube and other social media fan pages for warhammer. Mostly over the femstodes thing, the fact the main writer of the game hates "cis white men" openly and the way GW have been the past few years.
We all despise GW but god damn the setting keeps calling me every now and again
@@codstary1015 Kabrutus and his site DEI detected. He got big after he created the steam Curator Sweet Baby inc detected after the suicide squad game came out. Thankfully Sweet Baby inc isn't involved wit SM2 so I'm still excited for it.

Im betting that Memeroth will return.
He "did" ascend into Daemonprincehood afterall and his entire being screamed Tzeentchian from the get go.
So with the Thousand Sons being present they might be under his command as we never really learned if Memeroth was a 40k era traitor Chapter Astarters or part of the original Legions.
I hope they would give us different playable factions in pvp. I'd love to fight an assault marine as an ork looter or kommando for example.
I just deeply hope there's a 'toggle walk' button for keyboard and mouse. Otherwise I'm going to be forced to use a controller :(

They did say the game will have vehicles. Don't know if that applies to pvp tho.
The watercooled PC I bought 3 years ago has died, almost cheaper to buy a new upgraded rig rather than fix this one, so hopefully my new GPU will love a bit of Space Marine 2. Being in debt for 2 years will be worth it for some nid hacking action.

I'm not sure if I want to see a primarch. Maybe from the neck down. I like having that sense of majesty, where even looking upon a primarch instills this godly reverence in you. I think showing the face of a primarch can ruin that
We literally know what every primarch looks like. Kinda redundant hiding their faces
@@gardevoir7137 I understand that. I just think it's different when you actually see them in motion. Even more so for live-action. You could never show a primarch in live action and do them justice.
@Frosty-kz4om and that's the sad part, to be honest. I've always wanted to see someone's take on a primarch other than novels or codexes, but alas, it's probably for the best that we leave it the way it is.

Not necessarily. Sometimes more players, especially with higher health pools like marines should have, is just a cluster fuck. For me it's the idea of watching Overwatch, which to me is just a clusterfuck of colours and wild animations, to the point of being completely unable to track what's happening.
Nah ot would be broken plus those servers would be dead fast. I feel like SM2 will have a core audience if it's good but it won't have a cod or battlefield level of dedicated player base
