I'm glad we're getting a healing item like stims. It wasn't that bad in SM1 but in single player it was so frustrating even on normal difficulty because the executions were insanely long only healed at the end and didn't have I-frames so there was nothing you could do other than pray to the god emperor for some decent RNG. Not having to rely on an inconsistent healing mechanic that usually results in you dying because you try to use it or die because you didn't use it will be wonderful for single player.
I was under the impression that marine "scopes" are just cameras for their helmets. The example I was always given was when you see stormbolters with scopes, since why would you expect terminators to use a scope?
Yep, the scopes link in to the armor's autosenses so a marine can still be accurate even if he's hipfiring, in fact the upper protrusion you see on the front of bolters is also a camera that helps with aiming, just not as powerful as a dedicated scope. Scopes also can act as redundancies in case the marine isn't wearing his helmet or his helmet is damaged.
In Space Marine 1, the Stalker was more of a DMR than sniper, I think the stats reflect that here too. At least that's how it'll be for PVP. Middling damage, low fire rate and middling armour penetration.
