The guys are looking for all of you rich folks out there, because their opening the first-ever Rolex lines.

Watches are like any other hobby, nobody is going to care or even notice it unless they’re into that hobby themselves. Same with cars, shoes, tech, etc. They are also not an investment, you could theoretically make money selling a Rolex but with seller fees you’ll be lucky to make anything worthwhile. And that’s for a pristine one, if you’re not even going to wear it then you’d be MUCH more successful putting however much into an actual investment like an index fund. And you will never be able to buy a Daytona for retail unless you spent the same amount of money as a grey market one will run you up at a retailer. I do plan on one day being able to afford a Rolex and wear it until my future kids need to take it to wrist watch revival themselves. First time watching this station tho, pretty cool you guys don’t just dismiss watches as completely stupid. I like the show
