Whoa! Had no idea that loose edges could be used as threads like that! 😲 Very cool!
For the bad normals go to data panel - - > geometry data - - > clear custom normals data
i like this tutorial because it also doubles as a lesson on creating good topology :)
Amazing teacher. The video is so useful, I like this video!
i love your clothes series
Amazing teacher. And I started to make clothes into Skyrim thanks to those tutorials. However, to add physics into that game, you gotta approach differently compared to Blender models into Blender program.
Love you family keep up the great work
Very nice!
Dunno why but that human model looks like an alien to me. Especialyl those hands and lower arms, they are HUGE!. Who has hands like that?
The proportions looks normal to me. I think the shirt itself is really abnormal and so it’s making the model look bizarre. The male model seems about as basic as it gets.
thank you!
Where was this 2 weeks ago I had almost given up blender because I couldn't get the process to work.
Is this the only way to make clothing in blender or just the "easy" way
hope we get a gpu cloth sim in foreseeable future and at least triangle fill modifier (look for garment maker in 3ds max) so we didn't have to make loops manually

How can I create a superhero suit
😮i don't know. my stitch always falls apart when i press space. it never stays in shape... i must do something wrong. i have no idea what.😅😂
Rare First???!!!
Thanks for tuturial. But as I see Blender still has poor capabilities in clothes. The stitches are ugly and skewed. Huge holes in stitches so the body can be seen through them.
I don't think that such clothes can be used in production. Too ugly for serious purposes.
I second that one. Maybe it will improve in the upcoming new versions.
end result with tweaks looks fine for me, and its not even maximum possible quality/simulation preset, properly cutted, tweaked and rendered result should look fine for serious purposes
@xzcsacascasd3154 , perhaps for static image is ok. But not for the animation.
This sweater looks more or less well while it's gray and the body is gray. On pink body this clothes will look weird. The holes will be seen everywhere. ; )
Good points. I think what he has done here is a bit overcomplicated for the finished product. I literally make my clothes by taking the pipe creator add-on and reworking the topology so it animates properly.
This topology has some problems. The 5 poles are okay, since there's few and far between with mostly quads attached. The tri faces look like they would be a problem. Theres too many and too close to each other so the animation will skew around them.
With light sculpting and cloth modifiers being applied then re-added, you can make amazing looking clothes. Seams are easy with creasing and beveling topology. The only reason I watched this video was to see if cloth stitching had a real purpose I could utilize. Turns out, probably not, not yet. I still don't see the purpose of cloth stitching.
