Late reply but for anyone that wants to do this without a keyboard, you can setup a custom back button to be a home key press in steam game mode under controller settings
It seems you have installed the game on an sd card and not given permission to protontricks to access sd card. I'm assuming you're using the steam version of the game. You can use flatseal to give sd card access permission to protontricks.
Alright, you can ask for help in puredark's discord server. I'll look into the setup process in the meantime. Try using the same proton layer if possible.

how do you get the fsr3 side window to show. I press how and see everything except The upscaler window to set Quality or Performace at the videos 6:03 mark. Nevermind i found it. It was a tiny corner in the botton hand screen i had to stretch and remove. What a pain!
Protontricks can’t see games folder installed on the ssd, i have a steam version game and not planning to moving it on a sd card as I don’t have one, don’t want one and won’t have one

kinda cheesy to put a paywall considering they still got ghosting and shi to deal with, capitalizing on fsr 3, even amd wouldn't have thought of that when they released the sdk.
Upscaling artifacts are usually less noticeable at higher fps, tested it on pc with 100+ fps. Looked better than this. Not many people show up when mods are free and modders just rely on donations. I doubt fromsoftware will add fsr 3 to the game anytime soon, they didn't even add dlss/fsr.
Puredark been known for doing this. He got super mad when someone ported his dlss+g starfield mod onto nexus. But eventually there will be more fsr3 mods on nexus and such.
Thank god for this video and mod piracy paying for other people's work put in a zip file should be a crime fsr3 isnt his tech he is a fraud doing what others do for 🆓 this is as gay as selling the mod folders for yuzu to use with totk

These are really not helpful replies. Just set the home key to one of your buttons in the controller settings and you should be good.

I followed the instructions, but when I tried to start the game after disabling the anti-cheat, the game didn't start

You can set it via the controller settings. To any keyboard key you want including home as well.

I don’t mean it doesn’t recognize it on the first page when opening protontricks but when running the explorer (the third step)

Have you installed the game through steam? If it's installed on sd card, make sure protontricks have access to the sd card.
