  • Just Diesel Train Engines! Some Union Pacific, BNSF, HLCX, CEFX, FURX, ICE, CITX, Norfolk Southern, and probably some more names being used on CSX & NS trains around the Maryland area. (ps. I just noticed a mistake - two NS engines on an NS train -nothing different there. Sorry)

    Loved the Rio Grande tunnel motors. Awesome sound! Had to crank it up and replay that section a few times.

    In my opinion, the Multimark CP Rail SD40-2 around 6:30 mark is very nice. Do not see many of them anymore and I grew up seeing em. Very distinctive and memorable engine. The Conrail SD40-2 on that big power move was nice too. As always thanks BaltimoreAndOhioRR for posting this. Great camera work, good panning and excellent composition. Thanks again.

    Out standing video. Am modling CSX here in New Zealand and its videos like this that allow us to see what foreign power is being used by CSX.
    Keep up the good work on these videos , with out it we are very blind on the other side of the world. .

    Bulkhead flats at 1:32 were stored at Evansville wisconsin (on the abandoned UP doubletrack ) for many months. Funny they are here !!!!

    Finished watching. One of the best train videos I have ever seen. Nice. Some of the clips were played twice, and some trains seemed to be 2 BNSFs, but very nice.

      ps, the trains with two bnsf's are actually csx trains, using bnsf power.

      +BaltimoreAndOhioRR They are barely noticable. Seems wierd how CSX would have an entire train with just BNSFs. Also all of the clips that were played twice were played after 1:20:00 I think. Now I am going to check out another 2 hour long vid. Very nice camera btw!

    This video is very educational. Most of your scenery is spectacular . I often wonder if you would've caught the cabooses if they still ran them. I especially like the contrail & the SF war bonnet . Multiple epic shots. I also noticed more smoking GEVOS than EMDs . Maybe due to the length in service. Anyway, Awesome videos.. Keep up the great work.

    Those Conrails probably still aren’t around are they? 🥺 I’ve been wanting to see a real one forever. I just saw the heritage unit today but it feels different

      Conrail locomotives are ridiculously rare these days but there are still a few out there and sometimes you can see “ex” units. But the Conrail Heritage Unit is a treat to see!

    Cool engines I sadly just see normal NS ES44AC and one racing another my mom won’t post because she said it’s not enough “room” or something I was on a VIA but I can’t record that because I was not aloud to record in the train

    Very nice (so fare, haven't seen the whole thing.) Also at 1:00:50 thats the first time I have ever seen grafiti on a diesel locomotive. Only seen it on freight cars.

    Sweet compilation Dave! I have max 20-25 minutes of footage of foreign power A lot has come through here but I'm just not there to get them like a some other RUclipsrs I know do

      Captain Justice yeah, i'm sure. I've missed a ton, too! these have been collected over a few years. (I still have more, but I hit the max # of clips, plus it was close to the 2:10 limit, so I left it as is)

      Yeah, I keep a close eye on heritageunits.com just in case any heritage units come through. But for other rare or foreign power, I have to rely on other RUclipsrs

      JBtrainman Stockholm st. (warner st crossing) there is a fence there now, so you cant see the trains as well.

      As you know there is women train enginers and also women conductors now.as also know older trains has toilets in front of the nose.hafe never clean.
