Gone are the days of 'bog standard' equipment on these vehicles..they have so much tech now that they are simply cars but with excellent carrying capacity..diesel will be around for a long time to come, despite it not what the environmental team says 😄 great review planet auto 👍

At the end of the day I will never sell my 1999 4.2td patrol because it is better than anything out there today sorry🤣🤣👍

one of the best modern diesel engines in a pickup, shame we don't get that in UK nanny state, i can't imagine the 1.9 being anywhere near as reliable.

Here in Australia it would be in the exact reverse order. Rangers have too many problems, Hilux big price average performance, dmax and Mitsi are both grt performers with solid reputations.
