Just FYI - for 4WD vehicles, especially Hilux, the 4*4 needs to be engaged at least for 10 miles monthly throughout your ownership. Toyota recommends this.

Would love if India bring the new v-cross That is available in international market. The isuzu we have in india is an outdated one and can't be compared with the hilux just my opinion. Great video again .
the V cross aka the Isuzu D-max in general is a pretty old school bare bones pick up even in australia, but the good thing about those are the massive aftermarket support it has. 3.0L turbo diesel 4JJ1 4 banger is one though motor, can handle massive amounts of boost and dirt cheap to build as well.

Well said!! HILUX is a pickup truck, to carry passengers and goods and not a offroading vehicle. Keeping in stock condition is the best. The chrome finish is the best. Good review.
Hilux is not an offloading vehicle? Anybody who says that probably never experienced driving these beasts other than considering it an upgraded bolero camper

You can get it in Toyota itself, I have installed this in my crysta 2.8zx, in 2017. Toyota has a 4000/- accessory.

My hilux will be delivered week.Having used a fortuner for several years auto folding is a must specially when travelling through narrow lanes.Kindly let me know where you installed the same in your hilux from.I believe they can fold in stock form but they dont fold out.
I got them done from a guy in Gurgaon. Most auto accessories people should be able to do it.

I have done 1 lac kms in my isuzu in 6 years till now; nearly 80k on highways. I respect the gentlemen’s choice to go for the hilux but since he bought the hilux he will obviously try and defend his choice of the upgrade. I really don’t think an upgrade at that crazy price is justified at all.
What are your thoughts on trifold vs rolling shutter covers. Pros and cons of each? Thank you
I've never used a rolling shutter so can't comment on it. I took off the trifold too since I mostly only use the bed to carry my bike and ramp.
Rolling shutters tend to malfunction especially if you do a lot of dusty off-roading . Check out hard lids by utemaster or ARB. They are great- and can carry nearly 200kg on top of the lid.
he need to up grade tyer to all season all terrain one and he can also fix minor issue as auto fold mirror ventilated seats good option are available and suspension upgrade is must for off roading trips so over all good choice but you need to spend few more lakh rupee 2 or 3lkh to upgrade it towards your taste then you are good to roll ladakh north east ya camping trip with famliy just name it
there's a pickup truck toyota tundra available in the US, its grill is really dope ❤🔥 do check it out, it'd make the Hilux even more appealing

Can u explain what is BLD?
Brake Lock Differential. Please just Google how it works. I am not the best person to explain it simply.
Its simple man, instead of a mechanical locking differential, it uses the brake to stop the wheel that's spinning free thereby sending the power to the wheel that's stuck.
Which will help the car get out of tricky situations.
It's not desirable as a traditional locker but it's a cheaper alternative that somewhat does the job

Frankly Toyota is charging a bomb for its reliability factor now a days. I have driven my XUV 500 that costs less than half of the HiLux for 8-9 hours non stop without an issue to places like Bhutan, Leh , Kanyakumari etc with zero problems. Even a Maruti Swift will do it. Better to buy a Mahindra or Tata at half the price and spend a little more on maintenance .. you will still save money.

No comparison at all....I have driven both the cars throughout my job (Oil and Gas) in Saudi Arabia Toyota Hilux is always a better a choice. But Isuzu Dmax with 3.0 litre engine gives it a tough fight to hilux
And both looks like Public Goods Carrier vehicles or atkeast thats what is perceived in India

What are the changes in 2023 and 2022 Hilux ... 2022 dosent have shark fin antenna, 2022 hilux bedliner is very poor quality n in 4 part, 2023 bedliner is single unit.

इसुजु d max तो गाड़ी भी काफी अच्छी है ज्यादा कर कम कर लेती है इस गाड़ी का प्राइस भी काफी अच्छा है इस गाड़ी का प्राइस भी काफी अच्छा है मैंने पाकिस्तानी वीडियो में सुनना तो यह काफी कंफर्टेबल टोयोटा के मुकाबले। दिक्कत सिर्फ एक चीज की है बस सर्विस नेटवर्क बहुत बेकार है। टोयोटा तो था उस मामले में बहुत अच्छा है
Uncomfortable to hai thoda, but sirf peeche waali seats. But main to akele hi chalata hu, toh farak nahi padta. And mujhe to bike carry karne ke liye chahiye tha to mere jaise logo ke liye aur options hai hi nahi.
