- Part 1 of 2, the second video featuring more of the 1/60 scale Majorette trucks will be released Monday August 15th.
Well now! Here is a video I have been looking forward to making for some time now, and it is even more exciting now because of how many more of these awesome 1/87 scale Majorette big rigs, trucks, semi's, and tractor trailers I have to show you guys! These are some of the coolest diecast toy trucks ever made, a real vintage lot of hard to find collectibles - proudly displayed on my junkyard diorama for you to enjoy. Hold on because we got ourselves a Convoy!

just dug out my old majorette trucks the other day for my 3 year old ,glad i hung on to them all these years.seeing some of these brings back fond memories

Yes they are cool castings, very well built. As for the strings, I'm getting lazy LOL... a lot less work then stop motion! :)

I like these just as much as the 1:60, I have only one of the 1:87, but it is a mint gulf tanker. Just got that yellow truck, but it has a all metal car transporter on the back, with a dual axle rear rider setup on the back.
Nice cool collection! When you were talking about B-Trains, Labatt Brewery trucks have B-Trains.

I have some of these still in good condition, there were my favorite series, the 1 with the airplane on the back is harder to find and for some reason they did a lot of different colors with the same trucks, the farm truck you have came with horses when you got the pack from CVS back in the 90s

Trucking Gerry Anderson style back there, yep I can definitely say I have been waiting for these episodes and they did not disappoint, 1/87 is a nice scale for trucks, even when they get blown up by their own missiles. Keep on trucking man!! I am lol.

So, what I did with 2 beat up 1:87 trucks (the green one with yellow trailer) was cut the back axles and the sleeper cab part of the junky one and superglued them onto a better condition truck. It now has 4 rear axles, a small flatbed part(motorcycles, anyone?) and an extended sleeper cab.
Great video. I had watched the 2nd part first but Im glad I got the reference right. A lot of love was put into the making of these trucks and this video. Thx for this journey to the past, cheers from TR.

It's a ford cab over and that was my favorite piece from majorette from the 90s I bought that exact same hauler 3 times over the years as a kid.

Your flea market hauls are getting out of hand, too many awesome cars! Love the new Majorette vids, they were always my favorite cars as a kid-and now we finally get the new ones at Wal-Mart! Just found a boxed color variation of that semi and loader on the flatbed in a local odds and ends shop. I don't think anyone has done the big rigs as good as the Majorettes in your vid

Nice instant collection! Thanks for showing the moving features. I agree that the NASA Rocket Ship Carrier is quite a piece! That's very cool that it maneuvers the rocket into position.

Great video! I won a lot in 2013 that had ALL the 1/64 scale trucks in it and much more for $60 from Canada. But guess what? The dumbass never shipped them! He gave me a fake tracking number and everything to try and stall me until the time limit on the case ran out. Got my money back though luckily.

love love theses majorette semi trucks! I have one Kenworth with Canadian Pacific transport tempos on the trailer, was a gift from my grandfather who worked on that compagny for a long time ago... i think i will actually look to add more of theses trucks to my collection.
They are really nice, and also so cool to have your first one (the Kenworth) being sentimental with a story too!

Nice and big collection of Smoby-Majorette-Trucks. I think you need a few actual Dickie-Majorette and older Majorette-Trucks, before Smoby bought this brand. There are a lot of Euro-style trucks ( Renault, Volvo, Scania, M.A.N., DAF.......). The truck with the foreign language was made for coutries with german language ( Germany, Switzerland and Austria ). Germany was the biggest market for Majorette a long time, when Majorette sold their models only in Europe. The trucks in bigger scales were first influenced from the german brand Siku. Majorette sold big numbers of models in Germany. So they made trucks to combine them with a big number of Siku trucks. I had a lot of Siku and Majorette trucks from 1978-1982 when I was a child.

I'm growing up with Matchbox from Lesney, Siku, Majorettes and the old Corgis in the 70's and early 80's. I collect old Sikus from 1963-1982 and the actual Siku Super series with rubber tires in 1/55 scale. And I collect Majorettes of my childhood, a few actual castings. I'm looking often for special series, local variations of different countries and exclusives. wtffor

It's called a Road Train in Australia. If you see one either coming the other or behind, get the hell off the road as those things don't slow down for anyone and they leave one hell of spray behind them.
I'd like to see some diecast company make a few road trains maybe with a decoupling station. (Is that what they're called?)

Amazing stuff - it brings back some fond memories! What about a video of the newest Majorette trucks? There is a very interesting Lamborghini truck with a couple cars, as well as a Porsche Motorsport one that are just a tad too expensive for my commitment to die cast collections.

Thank you! I bought almost all the pieces on eBay by searching for scale train diorama material, the rest I found in local hobby shops that cater to HO scale train enthusiasts. Getting harder and harder to find this stuff not online though, and most of it has to be built from scratch with the materials... very time consuming. Good luck, it is a lot of fun though !

The blue truck and trailers are what we call a b-double and is used in built up areas, road trains are 3 + trailers and only allowed in certain parts. Check out 'outback truckers' on RUclips for more terminology. Or come here and see the real thing 😉
That Grey cabover is a Ford CTL 9000 not a International Harvester by the way International does make Cabovers anymore and Ford was a truck company

It's a long explanation, better covered by searching "Diorama build how to" on RUclips. That is how I learned to build mine, there are lots of great tutorial videos out there from other 'Tubers.
