    Another awesome video fitzmagic, great way to spend a fall day. Three fish are a lot better than nothing. Maybe one day during the winter you can make us some strawberry boilies on video that would be awesome. Keep up all the good work love all the videos

    Nice one Fitz 👍. Good session man all doubles them stewberry boiles spot on. Was a good season man pb and a mirror. I'll be here waiting content or not brother. Winter I usually go for other species like perch zander chub ect. Not done any pike yet don't know anyone expranced enough. Easy to kill a pike or cut yourself badly if you don't know what your doing. Had a couple of Jack's while perch fishing. 5 months I ain't fished for now dying to get out in the bank. So thanks again for bringing me along with you.

      Thanks for coming along Spoony! I truly appreciate the support you've given me and I'll hopefully get out a couple of more times before freeze up. I ice fish through the winter, chasing after perch, panfish and pike. But maybe, just maybe, I'll pull a carp through the ice this season 🤞 Give it the ole college try 😁

    Great drone footage Fitzy. Not a bad way to spend 5 or 6 hours on a nice fall day. Three teeners on the strawberry boilies. Hope you can get out a time or two more before freeze up. I am done until we have safe ice but as usual I’ll be chasing perch. It will be cool to see you catch a carp through the ice, can’t say as I’ve ever seen it done before. Good luck pal.

      I've got the damn thing. Figured I'd better take it out and use it lol. Hoping g we can get out a couple of more times before freeze up Don. We'll see. About a billion things I want to do in the meantime (fish and hunt) lol. You know how it goes.

      @@AmericanCarpAngler I do know how that goes. You know I bought a new DJI mini 2 a while after I crashed the Karma Drone and have yet to fly it. Gotta get off my ass and do that.

      @bucktalesoutdoors7566 they are some great tools for that cool brilliant footage. But a pain to lug around and get setup to use lol.

    Try prebaiting with maize and large boilies (24 mm) 2 days before. Large boilies won't get eaten by smaller fish. I keep my hooker boilies for a few days in the fidge so they dry very slowly and don't crack - this makes them very hard so they stay on the hair well. Try fishing on garlic (raw garlic cloves), it's like a pop up or a wafter depending on how buoyant it is. Works very well too :)

    • @AmericanCarpAngler
      @AmericanCarpAngler  Месяц назад

      Awesome! Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely try the garlic cloves as hook bait a try and good to know for drying out the boilies in the fridge so they harden up 👍

    Nice intro Fitz. Love the location. Any day on the water fishing is a good day. Nice catches. I would definitely like to see someone try carp through the ice. I'm gonna try going for carp as long as I can to gauge how far into the winter they'll bite, they have to eat

    • @AmericanCarpAngler
      @AmericanCarpAngler  10 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks Timmy! And I agree. If they're there, they've got to eat. Figure if I can find them under the ice, I can get them to bite. We'll see 😁

      When I was going through the footage during the editing process, I noticed the big tail on that 13 pounder ☺️ I think he'll grow up to be a biggun, as long as he survives the seasons. Thanks so much Mark. I greatly appreciate the support you've given me. Tight lines mate.

    A little Semolina flour in your mix will help your boilies stay hard
