yuppers!! got mine today, installed in 20 minutes. i love it. might go with diablo later, but for now, i just love the sound compared to stock. 60 dollars for great sound. heck yeah!!!!
I have a Rebel 500 ABS SE with the shorty GP exhaust too. I live in West Jorden, UT. Looks like you live in Utah some where too. Looks like you are maybe down by Lehi area.
I did a straight pipe on the rebel 300 with the exhaust wrap and a turbo. The turbo is enough back pressure to keep it in check and so far it's handling it well with the highway gearing.
hey man, appreciate this is an old video now, but I think your handle bars are crooked. Couldn't stop looking at them - a little twisted with the left one closer to you? You may have fixed this by now, but in case I thought I'd mention it. Cheers.
Cant tell you how much i went from this then away to z500 se then back lol just really good for 8 miles a day from work to house and fits me better in style and that exhaust is amazing
I ran this for 2 years, I love it but I can't take it anymore. Love the exhaust pop, crackle and bang of the unburnt fuel on deceleration. Get's lots of great comments from Harley riders in my hood. After reinstalling the stock exhaust I am looking for something in the middle of this and the stock exhaust.
Hello Jake, I love the video. I am looking at getting my endorsement so I can buy a motorcycle and want to know how many ccs the rebel 500 and do.ypu thing the rebel 500 is a good starter motorcycle?
you probably wont reply since it's a video 9 months old, but i'll try anyway, where did you find this exhaust (im interested in your mirrors and handlebars), tho idk if here in Italy this exhaust is legal
Hello there! Thank you for the video first of all. I have a question about the things you said. Does this exhaust harm the valvs or the engine of the motorcycle? Thanks in advance.
@@ItsJustJakeYT awesome, thank you for your fast respond. I love your videos about the rebel and you help me a lot. I am a new rider searching about my first bike and from your videos I see that the rebel 500 is a very good bike for beginners and more. Bobber style that I love and a bike friendly to the rider who wants to enjoy a nice calm ride. A bike good for sort and long distance trips. The sound of a bike for me is something I love without increasing performance etc. So the rebel 500 with a cheap muffler sound soo good is the ideal choice.
A bit too high pitched for my tastes. I actually like the original sound but definitely hate the original appearance. If I could get a different looking exhaust with the same sound it would be perfect.
The "cat" is the Catalytic Converter. It reduces CO2 emissions and that kind of stuff. But I would also like to have a better understanding on what he is talking about the "back pressure" and all that.

So simple and cheap but makes such a difference!
What's the name of this exhaust?
@@ItsJustJakeYT you can just add a baffle before you install it if you don't want it to be too raspy.
Sounds reminds me a lot of a Honda cb350 I had as a teenager. Has a nice snarl during high rpm runs.
This has made my mind up, I'm getting one of these bikes!
Sounds great actually doesn’t sound like a scooter anymore I absolutely like the rebel amazing bike thanks for the upload
A friend of mine just literally took off the exhaust. It’s a clamp on. Nothing on the end. Free and easy and it sounded good.

have the same exhaust. Gets high pitched and screechy between 100 and 120 kmph though.
Love seeing the lds church in the back! Subscribed!
Nice catch! Texas, Sherman 2nd Ward here

Where did you manage to find a turbo for a 300
Could you make a video on the turbo?

Check out the Coffman's Thunder exhaust. You can use it with or without its baffle, and sounds great.
If you don’t mind me asking. What do you do for a living? Glad you’re back on the grind🔥
that exhaust sound makes me feel like heaven lol 🤣
ong tho
Sounds soooo much better 👌🏼
damn bro, you are a gangster, loudest exhaust is the pipe hacked off fyi. But damn loudest rebel 500, you are basically a super saiyan.
Love it. Thanks for the vid.
Are those stock mirrors flipped downwards??
I’m curious about that too
Can you show me how you went about changing the position of the rear view mirror, positioned down
Hey! Does the shorty gp exhaust increase any horsepower?
Did you paint the ring that holds exhaust need tips what you use?
What mirror kit did you use?
Wish they sounded more like the RE INT650
Are you able to still hear coms/music in helmet with how loud this exhaust is while riding?
Where did you get your grips? Love the color.
i think those are the Vans waffle grips available on Lowbrow Customs
How mang dB is it when I idle and 5000 rpm ? Thanks for the reply.
How do you still have a cat when the cats in the front of the factory muffler?
Badass bike bro, where did you get your brown handlebar grips?
He said their cult grips so probably danscomp
@@Zackhixon Thanks bro!
Did you know what's decibel for that exhaust ? please
Just got my rebel 500. Enjoying it a lot. You planning on removing the rear fender?
i really want to!
can that interfere with the exhaust extraction and cause valves to overheat
I only have owned my rebel 1100. Hearing this go through the revs and not seeing any acceleration is driving me nuts lol
Flat torque curve lol
Firstly sounds great! Secondly nice grips and mirrors. Any links or branding recommendations
I actually have a video just for the mirrors! And i believe the description should have a link to the grips!
I love your bike setup. Do you have a list of mods you have done? Is this a 2022 Honda Rebel 500? Thanks.
Honda Rebel 500 special edition
It's a 2021 honda rebel 500 abs se
Hey! Quick question I switched to a V&H exhaust and It leaks a little. How do I fix that? What should I use?!
Leaking around the clamp area?
@@ItsJustJakeYT yeah! Where the slip on connects to!
@@SP1DEY_97 just put silicon

Straight twin pipe it with two small sports cats mate, that'll make it sound better.
fuck that feels nice in my ears
Nice bike man. Where did you get the bar mirrors?
Ill be filming a video on those today!
What color is your Rebel? I was looking at 2021 Rebel 500 abs se and the only color option was matte gray. Is that what this is or is it black?
This is the Special edition which is why it has the Matte paint👍🏼
@@ItsJustJakeYT That's not what I asked ha
Looks like Speech text didnt pick up everything right haha. Mine is the matte gray. To my understanding thats the only color the SE came in
@@ItsJustJakeYT Ok cool! Thanks for your response.
@@ItsJustJakeYT Buying a one cause of you as soon as I can afford it.
thats sick dude!
Where did you buy your side mirror mounts
Theres a video of them up on the channel!

Exhaust was amazon👍🏻
There's so many bikes in Italy who cares if your exhaust is legal lol. When I was in Rome I saw so many sport bikes ride by with loud exhausts
I really like your mirror setup
Do you feel a lot of heat escaping from the engine?
Not really. Your right leg is a little close to the Clutch cover so feel a tiny bit of heat from there. But never bothered me
@@ItsJustJakeYT thank's a lot ✌😎
Did you come up with down rev?
I dont think so haha
Will this fit a cb500f?
wondering the exact same thing
Where can i order and how much? Thanks

Backpressure is absolutely awful for engines by the way. I love this sound and look nonetheless, super wicked.
Powerhouse dealers don’t even stock 300, 500, and or 1100. And Honda is limiting orders.
I got my 500 se in less than a week, delivered to my door lol hopefully it's a bit easier now, I may have gotten lucky.
Hello there!

Nope. Catalytic converter is still in place so backpressure doesnt change very much at all if any

Perhaps.

Sound good. It’s too bad that it’s not allowed in Germany…
i am definitely not a fan but its not the worst thing ive heard
