WOAH, my sensei!! It's been a loooong time.... Sensei Patrick taught at Fresno State University for a few semesters, and I was fortunate enough to learn my first Aikido steps from him. (I had taken some Judo previously.) Then he started a dojo in Fresno, and after a few years he relocated to Montreux, and I've missed him ever since. Exceedingly peaceful and kind, his ability to meld with anyone's energy and move them around was mesmerizing, whether watching from the side or experiencing it first hand. My experience is quite small, but he seemed to have a strong grasp of the Internal arts so critical to powerful techniques. He was 3rd Dan at the time, and Durward didn't even have his black belt yet, as I recall. Ah, such nostalgia. I don't care if it doesn't win in MMA - it's a beautiful art to practice.
Nicely executed, fast enough to not kill the flow, slow enough to see the technique, done several times in different velocities. Pretty useful :D Hi from Spain!
+Martial Arts Tutorials & Fight tips Myself, I am planning to visit one day, but not this year :) Sensei Cassidy does visit the States in periods of time though
