The staples being replaced is a huge no for me therefore you def overpaid

It was added not replaced but still wonder what really constitutes a restored label these days. Regardless, great DC pickup.

Just more CGC inconsistencies.
Its a blue label, so this note probably means an EXTRA staple was added to help hold the book together. Any evidence of staple replacement would result in a restoration grade.
If you didn’t know there was a replaced staple I would get my money back honestly because you paid for a blue label when it should be a purple label
Still a great book to have. On another note, replaced staples is the only restoration I have zero problem with. Nothing worse than seeing rusty staples in a book that you know will continue to degrade and ruin the paper. Rusty staples are certain death to a book.

As long as your copy wasn't one of the 3 "restored " listed on that page in the video, a staple most likely was put in by a former owner of the comic due to age.
Recently picked up the first PrincessPython cover, Iron Man book. For me, it’s cool! Hollywood loves:loved crazy snake movies. Fair to say the technology is there. Who knows?
Dc is what you should invest in right now but it’s Warner Bros. I’m worried about. They very well could get in the way and screw this up
Great book, great character. IMO, not a good flip book, but 100% a good buy for a stable, slow grower that has potential to skyrocket if he does appear in a Gunn film. Might have to be patient, but you won't lose $ in the long run with this grail.
Who do you guys think the actor should be to play Deadman!!!??? If they make a movie or show.

I love this book! It's difficult to get above an 8.5 and its fairly expensive! or at least it was!

I am a Dc fanboy so I love that book...but I dont think you overpaid I do think you are on the high end of Fmv. I cant believe you got by with a staple replacement and didnt get a restored label. I think if James Gunn does proper with the DCU their is room for growth with this book ... especially if they introduce Justice League Dark.
The free book, Iron Man 126. Not a key, however, it is a cover homage to Tales of Suspense 39 the first appearance of Iron Man. Love your videos btw

Hey, I checked on GPA and on April 29 there was a 5.5 that sold for $412 (sold on mycomicshop). In 2023 it was all over the place, high of $505 and low of $300, with 9 sales in all. Seems like you are OK on the price, but late last year was probably the time to buy. Nice book.
I always read the cgc notes before buying.

I like the book, it just isnt something id spend that kinda mkney on personally. It is a cool cover buy though, and at this point id say just stick with your speculation and rude it out.
