So is this what it looks like when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?
Shadethewolfy which is which? XD
@@TsulaAngenati2292 Teddy Roosevelt is the Unstoppable Force and Winston Churchill is the Immovable Object :D
@Random Gmod Vids mmm fair enough.
Yes. Yes it is. And it’s awesome.
We all know who's the winner here... Those sick beats.
They put up a huge fight. I feel like this deserves a sequel. They aren't done with each other yet.
LaLa Jones I agree
This NEEDS a part two
I DEMAND A PART 2 OF TR vs WC
LaLa Jones IKR
nah winston got his ass kicked
LaLa Jones they need a part 1,2 and 3
I only just now noticed that "military honor" was referring to the fact that Roosevelt is the only president to actually earn the Medal of Honor
An interesting fact.
in fairness he didn't get it while alive and his supporters actually lobbied the war department for him to receive it which was unseemly. He got it posthumously long after his death.
i approve this
@@codyvandal2860 Considering what it takes to get a Medal Of Honor, it's not surprising at all that it was after his death. Very few people will ever receive it without dying first.
@@notbob555 Sure, but rarely do they receive it decades after their deaths
Fun fact: TR and Churchill met during one of Churchill's American tours (pre WWI) and they really didn't along. People who knew them said it was because they were too alike!

I just realized after all this time, that Teddy's opening line "I love competition" is a reference to him breaking up monopoly and encourage competition of the market :)
No shit? Man, i need to brush up on my history.
Wasn't he also known as the Trust Buster or is that another president I have in mind?
He was also crazy competitive. Seriously, one of his sons broke his collar bone during a football game and Teddy made damn sure he finished the game.
@@NewGuy2534 He also made American football more mainstream
He would also challenge random people (including world leaders) to boxing matches if he thought they could best him.
Eventually an artillery officer punched out his retina, and his advisors basically commanded him to *stop challenging world leaders to fight you!* Which he did.
Only to then install a wrestling mat in the oval office and master jujitsu.
Absolute legend. That line about him being competitive is deeper than the Mariana Trench.
Can we have a world war 2 style battle?
Churchil + roosevelt + stalin VS hitler + hirohito + mussolini
yes please!
Adan E. Pizarro Rivera Stalin would immediately set himself apart from group, Churchill would try to smooth it out but Roosevelt dont agree with policy. Mussolini would step up and Hitler will bash him down, Hirohito will talk about how both have no honor and Japan fight till the end.
this would be epic XD
Adan E. Pizarro Rivera That would be great for a season finale!

I love Theodore Roosevelt. He literally got shot and critiqued the shooters aim whilst proceeding with his speech. Absolute giga chad.

The Trust-Busting Bull Moose isn't gonna go down from a little pea shooter.
I believe you’re thinking of Nixon when a balloon popped and he said “missed me” never even flinched everyone thought it was a real gunshot but Teddy got shot and said “some of you may have heard by now I have been shot but it takes more than a bullet to the chest to stop a bull moose”

Cool fact that churchill's line about "ill be sober but youll still be roasted"
it comes from an actual quote attributed to Churchill when he was called out as drunk and said "I may be drunk, but tomorrow I'll be sober and you'll still be ugly"
Yeah I think I heard that on the infographics show
Churchill is the biggest British badass to ever exist.
Most of Churchill's lines come from actual Churchill quotes (in fact some of them come from one of his speeches, this speech: ruclips.net/video/s_LncVnecLA/видео.html ).
@@podemosurss8316 Just shows how he would destroy Teddy in a normal rap battle then if he can slide some decent bars into speeches
@@richardhobbs7360 He was a master when it came to oratory, so yes.
For anyone who doesn’t know the famous story that Roosevelt rebukes with, he was campaigning for president when a man approached him and shot him once right in the chest. The bullet didn’t puncture his chest muscle thanks to his FIFTY PAGE speech and an eyeglass case in his chest pocket. Roosevelt ignored the advice to go to the hospital and went on to speak for over an hour and a half. His opening comments establish him in my mind as the most badass US prez: "Ladies and gentlemen, I don't know whether you fully understand that I have just been shot, but it takes more than that to kill a Bull Moose."
He never had the bullet removed either, he lived the remainder of his life, I think it was 6-7 years, with a goddamn bullet still lodged in his chest
Yeah but it was only a .38 police special.
@@seandlax9 most bullets dont get removed even today, unless the doctor thinks leaving it in is too hazardous. The priority is to plug the hole and stop the bleeding.

The way that the Winston Churchill rapper actually got the delivery to sound the way Churchill spoke, absolutely brilliant.
Well the person that played churchill is dan bull, hes a british rapper
Plus half his rhymes are actual quotes from his speeches. They have even quoted the "our finest hour" speech twice...
Totally agree
Agreed
especially the last line
This has got to be the best ERB in the channel's history, for several reasons.
1. There was no clear winner here. Both Churchill and Roosevelt were incredible and delivered some of the hardest lines in the series.
2. It's the classic "Murica vs Britain" using the most badass leaders from each side's respective histories.
3. The background music slaps hard.
4. It's actually epic and is actually about history.
I guess it really is an epic rap battle of history
Mmmm, its a tie with the Ruskies.
It was close, but Teddy wins this. He had more burns, and better retorts.
Teddy won easily.
Roosevelt won
This definitely needs a sequel....
OMG YES IT does!!

Personally I just think Dan Bull didn't get to show case his real talent for speed in this one. If there was a sequel, I'd be afraid for Teddy once he started going faster, but either way, this was truly one of my favorites.
The one battle most crying out for a rematch. This isn't over! We need a part two!
Time to ressurect 2 dead legends
This needs a rematch more than Hitler vs. Vader.

The sheer EPICNESS of a rematch could destroy all life in the universe. They're too evenly matched.
Agreed
Death had to take Roosevelt in his sleep, because if he were awake there would've been a fight.
Death was just Yandere for Roosevelt.
Outside of the fact that he got shot and survived, he would've won any day of the week
Honestly, Death would be on the floor. With most of his teeth punched out of his head.
Roosevelt is what Death has nightmares about.

I agree. I'm had to watch it 5 times in a row and then try to keep points. I had to go with which one gave me the most laughs in the end. Teddy just squeaked it out for me. However, I think my favorite line goes to Churchill comma with the asthmatic and choking on cigar line
Agreed. This one I was particularly fond of.
This is not a battle, this is... a masterpiece... this has to be the biggest Tie in ERB history, Sometimes i just listen to it like a SONG in the background.
Blackbeard vs Capone was one of the only other ones that even compares to the fire thrown in this one
I absolutely agree. I came to the comments specifically with the hope that someone else would say that this is absolutely a tie. I get goosebumps everytime they rap their lines and switch off. Glad that other comments confirm.
Exactly
Joker vs. Pennywise is going to climb like a rocket on a ladder.
I thought you were rhyming at first. Those first two lines rhymed.
Theodore "wassup bitches" Roosevelt
VS
Winston "the rhyme minister" Churchill
The rhyme minister idea was genius
I physically need a part two. Where Winston just tears in Teddy's choice to his successor President Taft. Also both just dis President Woodrow Wilson. Mainly for WW1, than the Chads just become friends out of respect.

The reason I like this that both sides had some good back and forth. It felt pretty genuine to their personas. Other videos they have done don’t always land or often are just one sided.

tbh i think the zeus vs thor is greatly underrated, one of the best imo. i think this one gets the attention it deserves. (also one of my favorites)
This rap battle was Absolutely outstandingly Genius all the way
Dan Bull is the shit
Wayne gretzy vs Tony Hawk is underrated
I don't know, Edison vs Tesla does not receive nearly enough praise either.
This one put the "epic" and "history" back in these rap battles.
ironically. the history part of this song is completely false. Theodore is singing about dropping bombs, wwii, and pearl harbor. but Theodore served as president in 1901 and died in 1919. this song is talking about Franklin D. Roosevelt, not Theodore Roosevelt.
@@-Alter- It isn't wrong, they freely reference one another's time period (as in all of the battles). Teddy straight up says "Keep Calm and Kiss My Cousin's Ass;" they know which Roosevelt they are talking about (rushmore, panama canal, big stick, cuba, fda, parks, fitness, etc.).
@@-Alter- are you new to ERB? They reference stuff from the others time line. Same as in every other ERB
@@justinsmith4778 Yeah. It wouldn't work otherwise. It would just be a battle where one side couldn't attack the other. The OP's point is about purely fictional, epicly historic rap battles relative to epic rap battles of historical figures and you'd have to be pretty naive to interpret things otherwise.
@@-Alter- And when did Churchill serve? Oh yeah, WW2. He's dissing Churchill and their reliance on the States
How in the hell did he manage the 'WHAT'S UP BITCHES?!!' that loud? Impressive..
They're singers and talented.
Shion Kreth EpicLLOYD used to voice Teddy Roosevelt in the ERB News, and "WHAT'S UP BITCHEEES?" was his iconic catchphrase
English is a -10/10.
i knew it was familiar
Shion Kreth sounds like a fucking firework lol
Honestly I still think after all these years that this is quite possibly your best rap battle EVER
This is hands down the best ERB to date. No clear winner, sick beat, great historical lines, and 2 great performances. I always go back to this one.
even now i find myself back here once again, never satisfied with the mere memory of the bout, but must experience it once more
Right. This is one of their best battles
Yup, just checking in on this one again myself. Still good!
Youve gotta be kidding me. This was pedestrian. Seasons 1-3 were all better than this by far
@@thammar1990 I feel it’s a matter of taste, 1-3 we’re absolutely amazing, though in a matter of personal taste to each their own you know?
I just keep rewatching. Over and over. And I still can't figure out who won.
Potato Patato it needs a sequel
that my friend happens when the rap battle is exceptionally good
+xXBeastGamingXx I agree! This si by far my favorite epic rap battle
teddy for sure won
Imo teddy has a storng start but churchill is good during the whole battle
This has to be the most balanced battle yet I can’t tell who won cause both sides are just incredible

As much as British pride says winston was better but I have to say it's a draw
Agreed
honestly as an English person I'm gonna say Winston, not for the pride
@@alexsiriley as a german i say Winston too
This feels like a fight between time(Churchill ) with Big Ben in the background turning showing the passage of time, and space (Roosevelt) with gears behind him constantly moving through space
Winston: "You look like a mix of EpicLLOYD and a Pringles packet!"
Wardrobe Department: "Goddamn it, I'm trying my best!"

Is a tribute to ragtime, the music of the first 1900. They used The entertainer by Scott Joplin, the most famous ragtime of the time.
This is the only ERB where I genuinely cannot pick a winner, even after watching it multiple times.
lets be honest. Teddy Roosevelt won.
Charlie O'Shea I think it was a draw
Teddy oviousy won i mean he realy just directed everything to him not like twords were there fron like what winston did.

"TR will give WC the full deuce!" is a great line. Comparing Churchill to a water closet while throwing up the double English middle finger is next level.
and the fact that the v sign was Churchill signature
"Whatever Shit you throw at me, I'll just return to sender I'll battle to the end and I will Never Surrender!"
Most Badass line to end a song
“Taking a Deuce” is also another euphemism for using the bathroom. AKA taking a shit.
Years later and the line "The bullet can't stop the Bull Moose!" Is so incredibly raw in its delivery.
Yeah, and after he was shot, T.R. went on to deliver his scheduled, nearly 1 hour speech.

By far one of the balliest Presidents America has ever had the old “Bull Moose”. Today’s conniving cowards in office need to learn what a real leader is.
Death is a coward.
TraustiGeir
Well, i have to agree ;)
@@Blockheadfun we have trump. Not as bold but hes getting there.
Trump is a fucking coward who cheated his way out of Vietnam and can't even fire his staff in person. TR lead the Rough Riders in the Spanish-American War, was a cowboy, police commissioner in NYC who walked the beat and busted heads if his officers were slacking, and got shot but continued to give his speech before going to the hospital. Trump is a soft, weak coward who's never worked a day in his live, never done anything he hasn't wanted to do, and cries on Twitter about anything that isn't glowing praise of him. TR was into bodybuilding, wrestling, and pugilism. Trump thinks if you exercise you make yourself die more quickly. The man's an obese clown, and it is pathetic any of you think he's strong or tough just because he cries and complains a lot.

@@omarjebara4052 iconic is a word, also a fitting one
Bro u ain't lien 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Some of the lines based on history you might have missed (feel free to add to this):
Roosevelt 1st verse:
-Where would I mound the stuffed head of a Winston = play on words for Roosevelt's hunting persona
-digging ditches through an isthmus = building the Panama Canal
-rough riding down to Cuba = when he commanded the Rough Riders during the Spanish-American War in Cuba
-I keep my rhymes pure like my food and drugs = when he passed the Food and Drug Act (FDA)
-You tossed away likes in Gallipoli like they were scraps off your plate = Burning Churchill when he was First Lord of the Admiralty and launched the disastrous Battle of Gallipoli which was an amphibious assault of the Gallipoli peninsula just south of Istanbul by primarily Australian and New Zealand forces to try and knock the Ottoman Empire out of World War 1
-Walk slowly over here and give my big stick a suckle = A play on words using Roosevelt's famous "Speak softly and carry a big stick" policy towards foreign affairs for the US
Churchill 1st verse:
-I was saving the world while you were building National Parks = Churchill burning Roosevelt by saying Churchill served the British government through two World Wars while Roosevelt was more famous for starting the United States' National Park Service
-I'll fight you on the beaches, I'll fight you on the beats = Churchill alluding to his famous "We Shall Fight on the Beaches" speech given during World War 2 declaring Great Britain will resist Nazi Germany at all costs
Roosevelt 2nd verse:
-Teddy's dropping bombs so you best go hide in your tube = reference to the Battle of Britain where Nazi bombers dropped bombs on London forcing many Londoners to hide in the subway stations also referred to as the Tube or London Underground
-Everyone knows you're back at home like thank god for Pearl Harbor = Roosevelt referencing how Churchill reacted to Pearl Harbor
-Keep Calm and kiss my cousin's ass = Roosevelt referencing British propaganda "Keep Calm and Carry On"
Churchill 2nd verse:
-British Bulldog to melee a Teddy Bear = Great Britain as been associated with a bulldog many times while Churchill is referencing how Teddy Bears were invented during Roosevelts time and were made with his name to reference his hunting life
Roosevelt 3rd verse:
-A bullet can't stop the Bull Moose = Two references here: The bullet references how Roosevelt was shot in an assassination attempt and rather than going to a hospital he continued with his speech while having a bullet in him, the second is Bull Moose which was the nickname for the political party he created to contest with the Republican and Democratic parties
Churchill 3rd verse:
-I'll battle to the end, and I'll never surrender = Another reference to Churchill's "We Shall Fight on the Beaches" speech where he said Great Britain will never surrender
Micah Gestrich thx dude
And how about the "But tomorrow I'll be sober" line? That's a really huge reference.
Nice one! Found few others, here are my catches
first verse Teddy:
"I'll bust the trust fund lush with my American muscles" = Roosevelt pushed on antitrust domestic policies to combat the ever increasing economic control of trust funds (and therefore, lack of competition). Most notably the Elkins Act 1903 and Hepburn act 1906 regulated the monopolistic power of railroads.
second verse Teddy
Keep Calm and kiss my cousin's ass = British war-propaganda and reference to acting president during the second world war Franklin Roosevelt, his cousin
Gotta love these series, here's hoping for General Patton vs Field marshal Rommel : )
"Keep Calm and kiss my cousin's ass" - also his cousin being Franklin Roosevelt who was President of the US during WW2

He was called a “trust-buster” too, hence the line “I’ll bust a trust fund lush”. Honestly the writing in this one is staggering
