I'm convinced, I'll be doing a stage 4 on my 17 Ultra Limited.....after this riding season of course. Thank you Adam for what you do for the Veterans and all of us riders.
Dude I wished I could met up with you while you were here for bike week Az. As a veteran of 32 years may I just say to you that I’m proud of you, and just like God, hold a special place in my heart for you. God bless
Adam Congrats!! I love how excited and stoked you get when talking motorcycles and the lifestyle!(It's what keeps us young brother!). Please ride safe, enjoy your new ride!!
Great video man! I get so many comments asking me questions that you just answered. Very well put together bit about warranty! Only part to clear up is that factory warranty covers parts and labor. The 1 year parts warranty (like the stage 4 kit) covers parts and not labor. Which is why it’s good to have a solid relationship with your tech/dealership. So they can help out in times of need. Pretty sure you have that part covered. Looking forward to dyno numbers with the pro tuner setup, too!
John Maxwell i am a service mgr at a dealership in NC . and We honor the parts and labor on performance upgrades . if you will ask directly the Motor Company does not cover any performance upgrades even if its Screaming Eagle . as you are aware alot of the SE parts are not manufactured by the motor company. Like pistons cams ect .They are quality parts . Not trying to be a smart ass just want it to be clear . and that dealership is very reputable.
Adam Sandoval Rides yall had me second guessing myself . so i looked it up and sent the warranty info that the motorcompany sends dealerships on SE parts. Hope it helps . by the way i have 32ys in the motorcycle business all on Harley Davidsons . my performance work is backed up by 2 national championships 1 in the AHDRA B street the ADBA mod class 3 records that stood from 97 - 2001 and numerous race wins in the PRO DRAGSTER CLASS . . not patting my self on the back . but i know what im talking about .keep up. the good. Videos
Yay to Paris HD taking care of you and your ride, thanks David for taking care of Adam. Love you videos Adam Ride Safe my riding friend. And your smile said it all. :)
You are absolutely correct in your logic for selecting the stage 4 over the stage 3. I selected the stage 3 because I prefer to stay below the 4500 RPM range most of the time. But it's all about how you ride. I'm watching closely for the header upgrade information, thanks for doing the upgrades in this manner.
In 84 I bought a new FXRT. Sold it when I had kids. Now ready to retire. So much has changed . Going to buy probably a Bob 2007 or so . Researching now on options for the engine.. I like Low RPM and torque. I follow a Harley tech channel. As an engine builder all my work life I look for channels that are a bit deeper when it comes to the ABOUT engine part. This video is very well done.. A-Z covered. Thanks.
Ride your ride. I was told that i needed to start with a sporter. Not what i wanted. So i went ahead and got a Street Glide Special. So glad i did. Man i love it.
Bear's SGS ya same here my first bike at 39 years old was a new 2014 street glide and love that bike now I am on a 2017 ultra classic love this one two !!!
Congrats on the upgrades .... I did a stage 3 on mine .... and your right it’s all about preference ,.. I couldn’t be more happier with the performance of my bike ... ultra limited by the way ... lol ...... but safe travels to you brother on your way to Arkansas !
I'm so happy for you Adam, you deserve every bit of that power and so much more,it looks awesome and I know you got some serious power now!!...AWESOME!👍
Hey Adam I bought a 1 of 4. 2017 Harley Davidson street glide special w/ a stage 4 manufactured from Harley factory. Its the most amazing bike I've ever owned. Power is amazing and the handling is also amazing.
When I finally took the riding course and wanted to get my first bike I was also told to get a Sporty or a 250 Rebel or something. I am a big guy. I played football in High School and worked out with weights since I was a young teenager. Also spent several years in the Military. I just didn't feel my big ass would be comfortable on a small bike like that so I bought a 2012 Softail Slim with the 103, the largest engine Harley Davidson had at the time. I was so happy I did. It had plenty of power to haul my big butt around and I could still muscle it around pretty good. I had a lot of fun on that bike. I can't imagine how disappointed I would have been on a smaller bike. For me it was the better option. I have since moved on to my 2017 Street Glide Special and I really love it and the Milwaukee 8.
I’m stage 4 on my 13 road glide man you will absolutely fall in love with your bike all over again after the break in! Congrats on the upgrades! Hope to see you at Thunder beach in May!!!
I have basically the same setup on the same bike and I am really happy with it Adam. You will definitely hit the numbers that Harley promises. Good choice 👍🏽. Safe travels.
Was looking into a stage 4 but did some research and I saw some impressive #s with a full exhaust and a woods 22x cam. I have a 19 rks and got 104 hp and 126torque with a fullsac header tab performance slip ons woods 22xcam tts tune and dyno and harley heavy breather. The dealer actually swayed me to the woods cam and tts tuner. Obviously if you dont want warranty problems this isn't the best route but I couldn't be happier with it.
Ive hit the bell along time ago Adam, i feel that ive watched every youtube video you have! I wish they were a channel on tv of everywhere you go bc it's awesome seeing the different places you go! Hopefully 1 day i can do the same. Keep up the good work Adam, good luck, be safe, and God bless brother!
I finally have completed my stage 4 on my 15 rgs and my final #s 117hp at 5800 and 123tq at 3900 would love to meet up with you one of these days. Love you videos and you channel. Ride safe brother. Going to try and get out to Paris one of these days and check out the warhorse.
I went stage3 on my 18 115th anniversary edition breakout & blacked out all the ridiculous chrome that came on it. Running bassani street sweepers & it's a beast.
Hey brother I can’t say enough that you truly are inspiring and a very kind soul. I appreciate your hard work and I am honored to subscribe to your channel. Bad ass bike. Take care speed safely haha.
im excited I'm doing a stage a year I got a 107 Ultra it's a 17 I hit my first stage this winter whenever you're after that I'm going to go one more stage
I’ve said this before, but I’m so jealous about how cool Paris, HD is. Mine pales in comparison! The “Best First Motorcycle” debate will never die. Lol
Awesome. Enjoy all that new power and torque. Can't wait till the next time you are back in the Boca area. The bike looks almost as clean as when I detailed it for you LOL
Don't forget to add a high flow oil pump... Made a huge difference on my bike. Ask your boys at the dealership why... Current maintenance advisory in relation to a stage 4
I agree. My customers always asked for me.. Whenever i did a new purchase plus all the extras.. I always asked the customer if they wanted the stock parts.. Most said no. So id put em under my box. And whenever a solid local guy showed up. And i was just throwing a service on it. His stock parts all worn out cuz hes a road dog. Id dig out those new stock parts and just switch'em out. Never say anything to anyone. But when their out there and look down and they have new pegs and shifter and brake lever. That smile they have is from me.......................no one should run their bike at the high rpm level. Ever been sitting outside hear a motorcycle and tell that guy..... please shift'
Ohh you're up to 51K! Congrats! Got my new saddle bags in the mail from Viking bags, and have floorboards from Kuryakyn to put on my 2009 Honda 750. Looking forward to the warmer weather! I keep eyeing the new Softail Heritage though.. Dreams!
I remember riding with you at 90 on the war horse when it was a five speed and listening to it scream, then again after you put the 6 speed in it but you didn't shift to 6th until Tooter pushed us over 75. You do like high RPM's...
I just removed the cat from my stock pipe on my 2017 RGU. Big difference. The stock header is a merged header with pretty good numbers. No Warranty, No Worries. Fuel-Moto 120 kit going in later this year
Dude I have ben waiting for a week to see this video! I bet Scooter can't wait to go on his first ride on the new POWER. I can't wait to get the stage 4 on my 2014 Street Glide Special. My wife isn't going to like it much but she can blame you. Ride safe brother. Thank you for doing what you do.
Adam Sandoval - I'd like to ask a coupla questions of you and your experience settling into a LONG time on the road: What kind of riding boots do you prefer, and why? How do you manage/juggle mundane life realities like mail, permanent address (to "attach" your license and bike registration), routine medical demands (dental, etc.)? From the mountain of gear on your bike, it would appear that you camp frequently; how do you manage food items (to wit... a great breakfast in the morning would require having on hand a number of perishables; milk, eggs, sausage, beer (wait - cancel the beer!) so on and so on.
As far as warranty, the MoCo refers to this warranty as the Custom Chrome Coverage Warranty. That being said...any new Harley part bought and installed either before delivery or within the first 60 days of ownership of a new bike will be covered under the FULL factory warranty. The part still has its typical 1 year warranty but since you have it installed under the factory warranty it'll be covered until the factory warranty expires. The parts warranty will not extend the 2yr factory warranty. They run concurrently (together at the same time). It will also cover labor if done in that time frame. Anything installed AFTER the first 60 days will fall under the 1yr parts warranty and will NOT cover labor.
I couldn't agree more about thanking people for their advice and then doing what works best for you. I live by that.
I'm convinced, I'll be doing a stage 4 on my 17 Ultra Limited.....after this riding season of course. Thank you Adam for what you do for the Veterans and all of us riders.
Thank you for what you do to support our vets
Dave is one hell of a mechanic and a hell of a human too.
You're right about that
Dude I wished I could met up with you while you were here for bike week Az. As a veteran of 32 years may I just say to you that I’m proud of you, and just like God, hold a special place in my heart for you. God bless
Thank you for my freedom, I hope oneday to care the road

Great point. I think I will do a more in depth video on it this week!

Or get it done within 60 days of taking delivery ,than it’s covered for 2 years ,or 7 with the Harley extended warranty
