    This is Lions Rock in South Africa. They have received numerous rescued lions and other big cats already from all over the world. This is just a temporary camp to adjust. They will later on go to a bigger camp with trees, etc. They are very thin now, but will put on weight as they decompress from their previous life and settle down.

      They actually don’t appear too skinny. Generally the will be fed pretty decently. However, when they are cubs, often times their owners try to keep them small for as long as possible, just providing milk as a main substance whuch then leads to degenerative bone growth. You see the one lion his severely bow-legged. That’s most likely from malnutrition as a cub.

    Here is a Poem specially for the people who rescued these two lions and for anyone else reading this :
    Have you had a Kindness shown,
    Pass it on,
    T'was not given for thee alone,
    Pass it on,
    Let it Travel down the Year's,
    Let it wipe another's Tear's,
    Till in Heaven the Deed appears,
    Pass it on. 🇬🇧

    • @Torstenn-b3x
      @Torstenn-b3x 24 дня назад

      It's not actually that uncommon. Even in the wild, brothers will often bond like this for life, taking over a pride together and defending it together. They might be ferocious to other males and of course to any prey, and quizzically tolerant of their cubs, but they display genuine affection for each other (notably the head-bumps they do on meeting).

    Such a wonderful rescue, pure happiness seeing them run free together.
    No animal should be in a circus, no animals for shows like in Florida and ban these sea shows which are beyond cruel.
