Not giving him drifting from Sonic unleashed was a missed opportunity.
I thought the same, but i assume something like that would be really hard to mod in. Thought itd be amazing to see
Pretty sure the karts don't have separate animations for drifting, so adding one in would be very difficult.

It'd be cute if there was a glider mod that was the sprite of flying/exhausted descending tails as if he were what was causing sonic to descend slowly. Other than that little suggestion, this Custom Grand Prix is incredibly well done! I have no idea how long it takes to make mods/courses at this quality, or how it's done at all, but I respect the amount of work that's put into stuff like this. :D

The Whale Lagoon stage with the narrator (aleast where he says go), the sounds where Sonic picks the itembox, the music, the voice clips and some parts of this stages (The only thing its missing is Sonic car) really have a strong nostalgia and miss those days playing Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing (the classic one from Nintendo Wii)
one minor quibble:
the first track had Rings instead of Coins, but the rest didn't...

The power of Aquarium Park OST is so great that it can make a course as bland as Water Park feel fresh and more enjoyable despite the changes being purely cosmetic
… Is what I would have said, if the water didn’t garble the music so badly and you didn’t spend half the course underwater. Man, there really is no saving the L that is Water Park, is there? At least they tried.

Give him an animation for holding things
Make his glider, knuckles
Give him the SA1 animation for tricking

Would love a modern sonic R, Completeing laps, using a limited amount of boosts like in sonic unwiished and not being tied to boards,cars or any other type of equipment to gain speed and of course have great music playing.
