I think you really would love 'Everybody Supports Women' by Sofia isella. This was the first song I ever heard from her and it made me fall in love with her music and her message.
She is truly an artist. I found her through Ren and have been pleased, while I get into her art. She is truly dark ... reminds me of a lot of early NiN stuff.
She definitely dances on the darker side from what I've heard thus far. Definitely have to be in the right mindset to listen to her music. Very thought provoking. And she makes them pretty catchy 😂
I found sofia 2 years ago and have been desperately waiting for her to get the recognition she deserves, i love seeing people reacting to her art in the same way i do every 👏time 👏
@JohnnyFoxtrotshow hot gum is her ✨spiciest✨ song as far as her messages go, and I think it's the first one she really kick started with so that's a great choice! My favorite is Cacao and Cocaine; the best is so hard and the lyrics are js YUMMY
@@JohnnyFoxtrotshow Hot Gum is so good! I've forced my co workers to listen to it and they love it now. Its one of my fav songs to play at full volume with the window down driving fast on the freeway. Its goes so hard!
So uncomfortable but so good! And thank you for your quite profound and touching thoughts provoked by this song. There were several times I thought to myself wow, he REALLY GETS it! Astonishing in such a delightfully unexpected way. Thank you!
Men are encouraged as children to be self-centered while woman are often trained since childhood to put another person first (the oldest daughter usually gets second mom treatment). It's a societal attitude that is easiest to see when you see people that break the stereotype. House husbands are treated like they are weak and incapable and career women are treated like they'll give up on a dream career as soon as they get married or have kids.
A couple of minor chords opening a song definitely sets a mood. Great songs like this, grab that and drag the anchor throughout to keep that initial feel while building on it. Sofia's writing approach does have a discomfort, but one that is intriguing and draws a listener in deeper and opens up the mind to absorb her message. 🧸
Really thought provoking stuff, again!!! And fantastic imagery as well. As you point out there are so many questions thrown up by her lyrics, it would take several major debates just to scratch the surface!!! Unfortunately artists like Sofia are so far away from the mainstream that their voices will never be heard to provoke those discussions. Great reaction though, as I’ve said before you’re better off having opinions and talking about them, rather than just doing the introduce the song, listen to it, say it’s great and then finish. There’s enough reactors who do that!!!
I interpreted it as it’s not about the woman’s decision between a man and her success but the man’s decision between being a man (as in a human) and his desire of his own success so that he will put himself before other people or a particular woman.

A woman can be called anything when a man notices she will not be his.

I really want you to check out Delilah Bon.
Ren mentioned her in a post; she is amazing.
@@angela-richparman6889 that's awesome!
It’s definitely a burden for women to have to be the ones to conceive the babys but it’s also a gift and I think many men are jealous of that ability.
Ughh love sofia isella! Could you react to traumatic livelihood by jazmin bean? The album or song, either is fine, if u want ofc-
It looks like she is under UMG. They block a lot of videos so I might have some trouble. Appreciate you friend 🙏🧸
