Passed the window of a lady with a little poodle with my 20 ft 290 lb python. I made front page of newspaper. Reporter just happened to be nextdoor and noticed some commotion.

honestly as a fish hobbist i can tell you it was probably the fact that it was an aquarium fish. those fish are not meant for any consumption because of all the stuff we have to put in the tanks to make them a manageable habitat. i hate losing a fish, which happens few and far between but just knowing the chemical slurry that goes with the maintenance i'd never feed them to any mammal or reptile because they will make them sick. btw i love u and love what ur doing!!! so happy the alligator is in your very loving and capable hands, thank goodness you rescued her. she's adorable!!!
It was my hobby for about 6 months but someone tried to fix my ph levels and they killed all of my fish but one and the one who survived has a groth on his nose btw that someone being my dads fiance she has had the same 2 fish for 16 year I dont know how she managed to screw up my tank and I was so excited to watch the ones that I bred grow up I cried my soul out my best friend was there luckily she made me feel so much better if you see this I want you to know that I dont know what I'd do without you kid
My grandma had a prince regent parrot named prince. He was feisty and I loved him. After grandma had him for around 15-16 years we did research (backstory, since my mums side is from England, they visit it for around 4 months each year and leave prince at a pet shop) after he got home and his behaviour and patterns on feathers, we suspect that he was a girl. Around 6 months after that, we found him sitting still in his fruit bowl, feeling sick, grandma took him to the vet, and nothing showed up, the next two days, he layed eggs! So we renamed him princess now! But a month or two after, she had a heart attack and couldn’t make it I don’t want to have likes or sympathy (you can if ya want tho) she was an amazing bird and I just wanted to share the story.
It’s either allergic to responsibility or “well I gave them food that was 2 degrees colder than normal, I was just being lazy, oh I’m dumb, I bet that was it!” And you have to be like “I’m positive that your cat got FIV from another cat. Do they go to a groomer?” Like… I’m the second type of owner myself, but it’s still silly.
I cannot imagine finding a vet who will work with alligators, but I'm very happy Rex has you to care for her when sick or not (even tho this is 4 years later)
I got two budgies, a girl and a boy. I called them Sarafina and Zazu, from - yeah you guessed it - lions king. Sarafina means "bright star" and Zazu means "progress" or "movement". BUT the genders were opposite, so now it's Saru and Zaza x)
I did that with my rabbits. It's hard to tell the sex of bunnies before they hit sexual maturity. I picked what I thought was a girl to be the new breeder and named her Abigail. Well she grew testies lol so we started calling him Abidude. 😂😂
The “him” being a girl reminds me of a rabbit I had and for the longest time we thought they were a boy but we were wrong when she had babies. We also didn’t know because the person who gave her to us said she was a boy and she escaped once and ended up at humane society and they even called her a he.
That reminds me.... My mom had a parrot for the longest time.... She found out that "he" was a girl when she laid eggs. Sadly after the eggs were laid my mother had to give her parrot away...
I don’t get how you pull misgender an animal like a rabbit though. It’s hard to sex animals like an alligator, and some birds, but it’s so incredibly easy to tell with rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents, etc. I mean just by picking them up it’d be obvious. I mean honestly it’s kind of on you.

It's because rex has been called a girl for the last four years accordingly to 4:07- 4:34 she wanted to call her a boy since she has been calling her a boy ever since and she probably didn't wanna change that because it would be weird or rex wouldn't recognize I don't really know maybe your correct
I'm a newb in regards to Reptiles but... Does n't reptiles have situations where they get egg bound? And wouldn't that mean, Rex-anne has undeveloped cloaca which means, she is infertile?
Some reptiles can store sperm over long periods of time but I don't think Rex has ever been around a male alligator so that wouldn't happen. She could probably still lay infertile eggs though if alligators work like chickens do though I am not sure if they do or not

This is the second video I’ve watched on this channel. I know nothing about animals, so it was really surprising to see how cute an alligator could be. It’s great how you gave this cutie a good home after what she had endured.

So now that I think about it you talked about how she would go to Renaissance Fairs and she was housed with another female alligator for the event, does that make a difference as to why maybe she can't be housed with another alligator? Maybe a reason she can't be with another alligators cuz of hormones (I mean it could just be she is a one alligator per home type of girl)?? Do vets they believe because of her mistreatment that she has a hormone deficiency as well as all the other deformities? I'm a newb in regards to Reptiles but... Does n't reptiles have situations where they get egg bound? And wouldn't that mean, Rex-anne has undeveloped cloaca which means, she is infertile?
Some reptiles can store sperm over long periods of time but I don't think Rex has ever been around a male alligator so that wouldn't happen. She could probably still lay infertile eggs though if alligators work like chickens do though I am not sure if they do or not

So now that I think about it you talked about how she would go to Renaissance Fairs and she was housed with another female alligator for the event, does that make a difference as to why maybe she can't be housed with another alligator? Maybe a reason she can't be with another alligators cuz of hormones (I mean it could just be she is a one alligator per home type of girl)?? Do vets they believe because of her mistreatment that she has a hormone deficiency as well as all the other deformities?
