You're honestly a genius, thank you so much for all the time you spent working on this software, I'm starting to learn lights and discovering all these possibilities is just mind blowing.
Wow!! Only just stumbled on your QLC+ software a couple days ago! Can't believe this is free. Better than other paid DMX Control software. Just AWESOME!!
Totally agree!
Agreed
I must say QLC+ is such an amazing intuitive programm. I just love it.
Thank you so much Massimo and all other developers for putting so much effort and time in to this.
I certainly will honour it in my light shows and will always give my best!
I have not been able to get my fixtures to work in the matrices. I have created a fixture group, but it is still not working on the fixtures. what am I doing wrong?
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. It's super helpful. It seems the newer versions have replaced the Test Run bar and moved it to the top near the fixture group name bar. However, when I select it, it does not show what the show would look like in the Fixture Monitor. I've watched the video a few times and cannot figure out the reason. Any ideas on what to check?
Excellent English, very clear !!Thanks for sharing this and greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina !
Very Helpful Tutorial! Thanks for the good explanation -Nathan
awesome. thanks Massimo. I learned heaps
Hi Massimo,
I want to do the RGB Panel like you did. Would you please tell what RGB Panel should I buy or please give me the link to where did you buy the RGB Panels from?
Thanks!
Alan
Great helpful video got lots to try
Hello, hope you can help...
I made a custom fixture of an LED Pixel Bar. But my issue is that I can't make the "Custom Fixture" work in the test under the matrix settings but I can under the scene settings in the functions section of the software. Is there something I'm doing wrong? The circles that represent each pixel just stay white after clicking on the "Test Matrix" button.
When I set up a matrix, it seems to work In the virtual console no problem. However when I try to test it live, nothing happens with my lights. If I convert it to a sequence, it works but is unstable. Scenes work fine, chasers work fine.
Es posible hacer que el Matrix funcione con el Audio?
Thank you for the tutoial! I just downloaded it to use it for my 4 "Showtec Kanjo spot 60" movingheads.
I seems to have a problem, I can follow your video, but I do not get any light from my "Showtec Kanjo spot 60" fixtures. I add them with the buildin config. al the channels are good and working in Scene. But I do not get any light from the fixtures in RGB Matrices. I also don't have the button "test run" is there something I forget?
Does the Fixture Monitor work with Generic Fixtures? It doesn't do anything in the Fixture Monitor or with the actual lights. Using MultiColor LED Washes.
Looks like the answer is no. I used the Fixture editor program to create a new light profile but unfortunately still not working. I even tried with fixtures used in this video.
@@alexc2234 i use generic chinese par leds it works as long the fixture creation channels are correct
Hello. Thanks for the tutorials, great job.
I have a guestion that has nothing to do with a complex setup of fixtures.
For a performance in an art gallery, I want to use only one rgb led stripe, and I’m curious to know if I can apply some effects (not only color changing) , like the presets
you described in this tutorial. For example, to isolate a certain part (number of leds) of the stripe, or split the led stripe in different colors, etc.
Thank you
Andu Dumitrescu did you solve the question? I have exactly the same problem.
Hi Massimo, I seem to have understood that it is possible to make a matrix of devices, I wanted to ask you if it is also possible to make a matrix of channels? Let me explain, having an ADJ Revo 4 - 256CH device, it is itself a 16 x 16 LED matrix and each channel can switch on / off a LED. It would be nice to be able to matrix channels easily.
Thank you so much for your videos.
Might be 3 years too late but I think if each of those LEDs is setup as a head fixture it should work, idk
Why didn't I find this sooner!
Fantastic informativ tutorial. I made my IMG Stage line Mega Bar PRO dmx414 work with qligth+ and even RGB matrix, but the sample rate seems to slow. The colour updates only like each second and make a laggy experience. On your video it seemed smooth. I run on a 2 year old mac with, OS X yosemite, could that be an issue. It´s slow without any hardwear attached to.
thanks again for your great videos
hi, Massimo, please insert subtitle on this video if possible
Brilliant video but i think I'm still doing something wrong, i do this but it dosnt turn the dimmer ch up so no output is not he lights how do you get it to turn the dimmer channel up to full ? thanks again
+Sebastian Shepherd I have the same problem - have you found a solution?
No never did :( sorry never had any other response either.
d you know of any good tutorials on making led matrixs like you have done
Awesome!
nice work
this isnt working for me...cant i just make a scene on the mixer and save it to a button that i can recall with a midi controler?
