Brinks security guard in Texas gets pants taken off during robbery

- Investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying a robbery suspect who took the clothes off a security guard as he was robbing him, according to the Irving Police Department.
On March 1, 2024, around 9:45 a.m., a suspect got out of a black Malibu and held a Brinks security guard at gunpoint, police say. The suspect then unclothed the security guard from the waist down to "ensure the guard could not retaliate," according to police.
The suspect, who is believed to be a white or Hispanic male, then got away with a large sum of money.
In cell phone video captured by Eden Soto, you can see the suspect initially holding the security guard facing down on the ground. The suspect then starts tearing off the guard's pants before they get stuck on his shoes. He eventually takes them off, leaving the guard in his underwear and socks.

As a former armored truck driver, I can tell you that these robberies are inside jobs set up by the actual driver themselves 90% of the time.
Yea but this one don’t seem like it cuz why would he let him take his pants off ?
@@izaiahshorten9194 I thought the same thing, then I figured one possibility would be that he would expect people to wonder that. Anyone normal would question why he would be involved in something that humiliated him in such a way and think there is obviously no involvement and they'd move on from him. I mean...it WOULD lead me to lean toward no involvement at first. Quite clever if it were on purpose.
This would be a humiliating inside job. It’s even worse if he’s innocent and he is being accused of being an accessory.
Nah he was a MIGRANT
Why is he alone is my question?
Recording rather than dialing 911. WTH is wrong with society? 🤦🏻
Maybe they think those guys no habla espanol
maybe he already did
Recording that is important, tbh slightly more than calling.
The chances of someone else calling or their partner radioing it in is HIGH 90 percentile. Having recorded evidence, of the guys face and his actions can be crucial to picking him up later if he gets away
probably an illegal himself so cant have the hops coming to them as a witness lol
The cops, thats whats wrong.
Its not that they need defunded, its that we need to fund and test the trainees better so we can trust them with our saftey.
The guys phone would be taken as evidence, and if he asked why he would get a resisting arrest charge... Thats why he didnt call. The man likes his freedom and right to privacy.
Remember, take my pants to make it look real. Ok?
Take my pants!
I don't think it's staged lol but maybe. Just seems stupid to stand there with a gun for such a long time for anyone to call the cops and every single driver probably called when they saw that, seemed like he wanted the guys belt

They're working together that's why doesn't take a genius to figure this one out. The person filming and narrating is with that guy who's robbing the driver. Since the person narrating is speaking spanish on this Y.T. short it's most likely an illegal from South/Central America that just came into our country same with the other guy robber taking the brinks mans pants off and they're on this heist together to take a brinks truck for the money! To add, this is the FIRST spanish speaking short I've come across since the illegal invasion in our English speaking country/America. So get ready Americans, this won't be the first spanish speaking short nor video on Y.T. in America! There's 100x's more where this comes from, from now on!! America is being taken over by these illegal invaders! God Help Us!!!!!! My stress level is through the roof with them invading our land day after day in search of the mighty American dollar and to use us here especially with their self righteous attitudes! Pray none comes up to me for anything because they'll wish they never had. Sick of this 💩!!!!!! 😡 They might THINK they can take over America but that's about all ...think! Americans born and raised here will stand their ground and fight for their country until their last breath no matter what! I know I will!!!! This is English speaking America 100%!!!!! Always has been and always will be and no matter WHO ... illegal invader or not ... tries to take it over! It's OURS regardless, true born and raised Americans til the end! There's no way of confirming if he called the police prior to filming. I mean, he could've called real quick and then went to film it to further document the crime for the incoming police to further prosecute him. Filming this is actually very important because the interaction between thief and driver can let investigators know if the driver was in on it from the get-go
