Thank God no one was hurt considering he was armed. That was quick thinking and a cool head that prevailed, getting those ladies and that child out of there.

I remember going to high school with a guy who would just steal from other students and from stores just because he could. Sure, it's POSSIBLE that the guy may have been in a pinch or something. There probably was a back exit. Fire laws would require a second way to exit in case of fire. There also would be air-conditioning vents in the ceiling that he could have used to climb out to the roof. He just wasn't smart enough to look for them.

No, no one "deserves" anything. The justice system should not be about giving people the punishment they "deserve". The only legitimate purpose of incarceration is to keep society (as well as the inmates) safe. But incarceration by itself is not a solution to crime. It never discourages the type of crime in this video - crime done for money by poor and desperate people. You saw that this man was terrified to go to jail, but he did the crime anyway. Notice that rich and middle class people never commit armed robberies, it's only ever poor people. The way to ACTUALLY reduce this kind of crime is to build better infrastructure, better education, better social safety nets, etc. But politicians would rather give money to corporations (including private prisons) then spend it in ways that would actually improve society. Wake up. Also, if you're watching this video do satisfy some kind of lust for vengeance that you have, you should look inside yourself and try to identify where that anger is actually coming from.
There is a part of our feelings we hardly admit. It is the little shift in how we feel when we see him go from macho to a panic mode. He begs, kneels and actually cries a little. It makes you wish he hadn't done it. Although he is arrested, something makes you wish he learns his lesson, turn his life around and live up to the good kid inside of him we all quietly noticed. I mean yeah he was wrong it's wrong to take stuff that doesn't belong to us but how much do you think it was worth that he actually held in his hand? If they gave him years for that that's completely excessive. 6 months tops. I'm not excusing what he did but let the punishment fit the crime. People get five years for manslaughter or vehicular homicide. Giving people more than 6 months for an inanimate object we're talking property now okay property is not equal to human life that's what seems to be constantly confused in this country and I honestly find it a bit disturbing. What he did was wrong. Certainly but we've all been tempted at times. let he who is perfect throw the first stone. I hope he didn't get anything more than 6 months tops. All within a span of five minutes. Five minutes is all it took to destroy his own life. The best part is just how sudden and fast it was. It hit him like a ton of bricks and he was shook.

No, no one "deserves" anything. The justice system should not be about giving people the punishment they "deserve". The only legitimate purpose of incarceration is to keep society (as well as the inmates) safe. But incarceration by itself is not a solution to crime. It never discourages the type of crime in this video - crime done for money by poor and desperate people. You saw that this man was terrified to go to jail, but he did the crime anyway. Notice that rich and middle class people never commit armed robberies, it's only ever poor people. The way to ACTUALLY reduce this kind of crime is to build better infrastructure, better education, better social safety nets, etc. But politicians would rather give money to corporations (including private prisons) then spend it in ways that would actually improve society. Wake up.
Also, if you're watching this video do satisfy some kind of lust for vengeance that you have, you should look inside yourself and try to identify where that anger is actually coming from.
There is a part of our feelings we hardly admit. It is the little shift in how we feel when we see him go from macho to a panic mode. He begs, kneels and actually cries a little. It makes you wish he hadn't done it. Although he is arrested, something makes you wish he learns his lesson, turn his life around and live up to the good kid inside of him we all quietly noticed. In fact you wish him well and wouldn't mind a video update on how he got out of jail, turned his life around and became very productive. Perhaps he become a marine, or a tutor. You could even hug him over such outcome and be genuinely happy for him. It is the feeling of love. This is exactly how JESUS feels about you now!
