Good job bro I do them exactly the same the only difference is when I push the pistons in I open up the brake fluid reservoir...I've messed up a few of master cylinders when I first started doing brakes.
I recently replaced all of brake rotors and pads. Do you know how to clear the warning message from your infotainment system? A little letter or message would pop up on top and when I click it it would say "brake issues" or something. It would come out intermittently. I'll take a pic next time
I'm not an expert on these but I would check the brake fluid. I know these have a tendency to throw a bunch of faults but I never sent that. I had literally every warning light on and it had to do with the injectors some how.
Thank you and no, these came out no problem. I've had good luck lately with my little DeWalt cordless impact. My manual impact screwdriver is hit or miss. They either strip which you then have to drill out or they break which is fine with me lol. I usually always start with them to make sure I don't run into problems after everything is apart.
If they don't come out just drill them. They're not necessary. They are literally a convenience to hold the rotor in place for you. If you didn't put them back it wouldn't matter.
No Bosch is a reputable brand just never used them before. If you had a German car that would be a go to I think. I just love thermo quiets. Couldn't imagine anything better
Your brakes are worn. It's common for people to think there's plenty of "meat" left when there isn't. All that material isn't brake material. Most of it is cooling material. Ever notice on brakes that have the little squealers they seem to cover a small amount? That's because there's only that much braking material. Brakes are not supposed to be worn down to nothing. Just saying
Weird because I still haven't done the rears and still good. You don't need to do all 4 brakes at a time. If a shop told you that then your being ripped off

That blue filter is made by Fram
Years! We still have this pilot today as my wife's commuter beater. Killin it bitches?
Same front and rear brakes since. Fuck ya thumbs down bitch ass's.
Are you sure the screw is Philip's heads, not JIS?
Nice job man. I learned a few more tricks thanks to you.
Thank you for sharing your video

Anything against Bosch pads? (2012 Pilot owner)

Oh yeah, always do brakes in a set. If you do the front do the back too.
Front and back wear differently. If the rears have plenty of life why replace them? I think you mean tires lol
Nice video. Did a brake job on a civic, may tackle my pilot next :)

Can you post the part numbers or amazon links. Thank you
I don't see Bosch rears on Amazon for 2016 pilot. I still have the ebc kit for the rear that I'm going to install.
