There is a lot of patience and coffee involved with these problems, I say from a thumb drive. trying to get external disk with 20.04.1 installed on it, to replace damaged hdd in computer. I didn't know about trusted hdd in bios, thank you for this, will try this next time computer is off.
My Bios security menu only allows for Administrator password and is only like 3 choices. I don’t have Trust UEFI at all

Bro I have seperate SSD in which I have different os when I tried to boot from this SSD only one option in boot priority is showing : windows Boot manager 😭

NOT SO FAST! This method does not work on the Acer Aspire 3 A315-33-P346 when trying to boot Windows 10 32-bit installer. Its the 32-bit that seems to be BLOCKED by the INSANE ACER UEFI.
I cant press the enter after typing the boot description, the boot description bar become greyed out, please help 😭😭

Thanks for the video... One follow up question, why did you perform the last step? (Erase all secure boot setting). Windows 10 update causes a twinapi.dll error on my Acer. I was able to reinstall Win 10 and recover some files but now it won't boot and just stuck at the Acer logo and spinning wheel. I could get into BIOS but not Auto Repair. I came across your videos/channel and am watching them to identify what I could do next... I tried downloading Win 10 into USB drive but cannot get pass the spinning icon. Any suggestion?
I clearly mentioned that "IF YOU WANT" then you can erase all your created secure boot settings.
Although we are not facing this kind of issue, I will try to solve your problem.

He doesn't, because he doesn't know this too !!!! He just copied this acer shit from some American who actually knew how to solve things, and that's exactly what he's showing here. the secure boot options are still greyed out even after setting a supervisor password, any idea why?
turns out you have to also enable secure boot to access it, my arch linux boot option is now back

I had the issue that uefi boot file won't appear after selecting it as mentioned... I had done many things , bit it was really simple... In boot bios menu press F9 to restore default settings ( all the old uefi files will disappear) then add the file again in security tab, this time the message " the file is exist" won't appear, exit and save changes, and go to bios again, then you will see your UEFI file you have been looking for !!!

@@asatechnical thanks but it’s a laptop and my issue started when I tried to install a win xp program on windows 10, the boot manager disappeared. I have got round it with a reinstall on another drive by forcing a Eufi boot with rufus. Not what I wanted to do but I was upgrading to Windows 11 shortly anyway.
Now I can cheat on valorant : D
