Not all key machines can cut best keys well, especially the W Series. Can the Triton Plus? PJ demo's how to cut best keys on the Triton Plus and goes over the good, bad and the ugly!

0.89 on my 94 camaro key do u know the proper resistor for that
#lockboss. For me it works sometimes and when decoding it's off by 1 depth +/-. But for now I will stick with the punches 👊

I keep seeing comments about Triton needing to be connected to the net. I use Triton everyday all day. City, rural, residential, commercial, and engraving. I have never had the unit need to be connected to the net. The only time it ever connects to the net is when my truck is the garage and I update the Triton.
Triton (at least mine) does not have to be connected to the net to work. If yours does, call teck support, and figure out why.
In my experience Triton has been a good machine, not without its issues, mostly learning curve. Triton smokes the old HPC Blitz and constantly fighting realignment issues.

I do like your videos. I am a 24 yr master technician ( automotive) I've recently got into locksmithing. I'm learning quickly. But I'm struggling with picking and decoding auto locks. Lack of experience I'm sure. Do you have any lishi pick/decode videos? Or something similar?

That was a very informative video. Great machine but it can be better. Thank you for the I formation. Good thing you make these videos that way any issues that arise can be brought to tight so that the techs that have these machines know its not them it's the machine causing the problems.

The wSeries that are half cut looks like a potential new style of Best key and lock configurations, kind of like the medecoM4 and everest/primus.
The Triton is a pretty cool and very capable machine. Would love to have one some day. You can always originate your Best W series keys using the Triton the old school way by originating on a blank it will cut like an A and duplicating that onto the W series blank with a regular duplicator. #Lockboss

I have cut a few BEST keys on the Triton and getting the blank into the jaw using the tip stop is a pain in my butt. Takes too long to get it right. Imagine if you had to dupe 10 copies! That's why I bought the Rytan punch from you. However, that being said decoding on the Triton and punching on the Rytan is really sweet. #Lockboss

This #lockboss has a Triton. It's been pretty good so far. It has to connect to the internet alot, which is problematic if you work in a lot of rural areas. Customer service (Triton's tech support) isn't very responsive at first, until you get a response from someone and then you can communicate with them directly and it's much better. So far I'm happy with the machine.

PJ should have known better on the BEST tip shoulder stop - oops. My question was answered concerning the BEST premium keys. If you have a BEST combinator with the Premium key carriage, then you get factory perfect cuts. I haven't tried cutting BEST premium keys on a Framon II with the SFIC jaw, but I need to try it as a "BEST" #lockboss

Damn it. I was hoping it worked a bit better and faster. I’m an institutional locksmith at a massive university… I have all BEST keys, including WB at some buildings. I need something that cuts fast. I guess I’m stuck with our punch.

What do you have to do to install updates. I have a similar machine and my biggest complaint is the update process. I missed a step in the process one time and it bricked my machine. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to get it back on my own but after several hours I finally got it to reload all the software and it started working again. #LockBoss

I have a 94 camaro and I'm trying to do vat by pass my key is reading 0.89 .... what resistor do I choose please help
.89K ohms would be #4. Look up vats key chart. It shows #4 as 887 ohms.

I have a Hpc punch machine and a Hpc 1200. Every time I use the Hpc it doesn't work on the Best keys #lockboss

Probably need to be careful with Kaba Best PEAKS keys to not cut off the "peak" and be aware of spacing and other pinning differences as a super SFIC specslist and knowledgeable #lockboss

8:11 "Not much work there is to be done by Triton" - referring to Triton like they have any engineering capabilities to update the machine, NO, KUKAI is the manufacturer, LockLabs, or "Triton"(Kukai Alpha) is just a rebrand by an American importing company, this is a chinese machine and LockLabs know nothing other than servicing and importing it.
We have been working with Kukai products for years now, and they are one of the best in the market, but I don't appreciate LockLabs stealing all the credit and blocking people from buying directly from the manufacturer overseas with exclusivity agreements. #LockBoss
