How do you deal with spotty cell service when the machine requires internet? I'm near you and having trouble with that. It always wants to connect to the internet, but lots of areas don't have good cell service.

Awesome machine the Triton Plus. The concern of not knowing if there is an app to provide the software you may need if the monitor fails may be stressful when you need it to preform services for a customer. Can't wait for you to start diving into it as you stated to keep us updated on the Triton Plus.

If the hardware has bluetooth, they will propaly if not already have implement the app from the Kukai Beta to be used together with the screen like in the Condor Mini Plus, they wouldn't want to be outperformed by xHorse.

Thanks alot for mentioning the Kukai LockLabs business model, not many retailers would mention it, and it shows you really care!
Personally, after the AutoProPad's high cost and inconsistencies of support/updates, I would love to not buy anything of theirs again, but unfortunately they monopolized new gen Kukai for the US market, and I am definitely going to continue purchasing Kukai products, as they're the best value.
We would have to see how the industry will continue.
it would be amazing if American Key Supply wouldn't be the only ones supplying Black Widows, since they make more financial sense than the Triton.

You bet, it's important to be transparent before someone spends hard earned money-PJ
#lockboss it's great that it's upgradable like that but I'm not a fan of property databases or the hardware being made by one company and software being made by another because that provides 2 points of failure. Lately I'd would want to be able to buy and replace the screen myself (even if that involves getting out the soldering iron) before I could even consider buying one.
Completely agree, would have been fine if there warent these exclusivity deals, which makes only LockLabs able to import these machines, in everycase I've seen this happen it turns out badly, luckily elsewhere there isn't exclusivity like XTool and OBDstar.
As in, you can still get the Xtool Pad2/Pad3 or OBDstar Pro4/DP Plus from a USA supplier if you want, if a supplier like CLK or yourself imports the Kukai Alpha/Beta, they have to blacklist these machines.

My understanding is the end mills (cutters) dull very quickly and need to be replaced frequently. If true, I'm not sure this machine would be a good choice for large volume key cutting.
What no lock pinning jaw attachment for it. lol. The versatility of one machine to do many things is very important to a mobile only Locksmith. #Lockboss

This is a great machine. And some day I will have one. But at this point, I need to stick with the machines because I don't have a big enough cash reserve and I don't want to finance anything yet until my business is more stable. #LOCKBOSS
Sounds VERY INTERESTING. I would like to hear more on this. Does this just cut, or does it help to Program the Keys too? This #Lockboss needs to know. Looks like a GREAT Cutter and something I may be interested in acquiring. I will be looking forward to some DEMOs by PJ for us.

I love the Triton machine! I have one of the first ones that came out and it has done wonders for my business versatility! It even offers the ability to make custom keys (that aren't part of what's originally programmed), as PJ stated. Which can be easily programmed in and saved. I use the parameters from a code software that I have on my phone. If anyone is thinking about getting one of these, I strongly suggest it!! It'll help make you a #LockBoss!!
Please be aware you need internet to cut keys on this machine. I travel to remote towns with terrible cell service and it comes up with a warning that says "You are not authorized to make keys in this location." I sent tech support an email, but they didn't fix it. Very frustrating. Other have said the Gymkana 994 doesn't need internet, which makes me wish I had gone with that one.

My original Triton Key Machine has been serving me well thus far. I have the 12v adapter, bolt down kit, and every single jaw for it. I guess you could say I have the OG Triton Ultimate. I believe the price point for the new Triton Plus Ultimate is even better than what I paid in total for my original with all the accessories added on! Great buy for any aspiring and current #Lockboss looking for a great electronic key machine!
Yes, but the new machine needs internet to query codes, which make it a deal killer if you work outside of town, in remote locations, or anywhere there's bad cell service. Very disappointed in the new Triton so far.
I heard lots of good things but I have no experience with any of the triton machines. Maybe you can do some videos and test it side to side with some other machines?? Anyway great video #Lockboss
Don't be discouraged, nowadays it's very streamlined by good interface and design, shouldn't have any problems, and Kukai/LockLabs/CLK will give great customer service, Kukai has a library of videos ready at request to send out.
What are your opinions with it compared to say the gymkana machine ?
The Talon Plus seems like a great affordable electronic key cutter. I could not find any information that it could or could not cut Biaxial keys. Is it possible to cut Biaxial and Mul-T-Lock keys? If so, it would be a great affordable high-security key cutter. #LockBoss

This is an interesting machine I have not heard much about it and I would love to see more demos and videos on it. I don’t do much automotive so I bought one of these “less” supported machines with tons of capabilities at a cheaper price. The one I got was the Xhorse Dolphin great machine for what it is. A compare and contrast would be interesting between these two. #Lockboss
this one is less noisy, is also known as "alpha cutter"
The Triton is the most expensive product from Hunan Kukai, you'd actually find they even have automatic code machines cheaper than the dolphin and with about the same capabilities as the Triton, the advantage of the new gen of Kukai devices that the universal jaw, which saves you the trouble of changing out the jaws for speciality cutting like TOY40, BMW motorcycles, HU162T amoung others.
The difference between Kukai and xhorse devices is that dolphins have a portable battery and give a daily bonus point for Key Tool/Programming use, and Kukai has residential/commerical cutting by code aswell as a offline database-which xhorse gives only on the Condor Mini Plus.

I feel like the Triton is a less supported machine. My machine (brand new) froze all day with a warning and I couldn't get a reply from tech support. The phones don't ring through to real people (you won't get an answer). As your suppliers which machines have actual us-based support that replies within minutes.
@@kevinwitt8827 LockLabs is actually a US distributer of the Kukai Alpha/Beta, in their first years they gave wonderful phone response as we experienced from their AutoProPad support, but in the last 2 years their responsiveness went down like crazy, now they don't even offer phone support, only online chat(not sure if good).
I'd suggest contacting Kukai directly if it's something that can be solved without warranty claims, their English is not perfect, but are very responsive and helpful.

X-horse Delphine xp-005 does not even do commercial keys, which is one of things I did not like about it.

SEC-E9 did commercial/residential keys since about 2015, same manufacturer as the Triton, xhorse is behind because they don't focus on just key machines.

Wow that’s a great setup. More and more machines are coming out with jaws that make them all in one setups and software that makes it easy for even a beginner to use so there isn’t a lot of time and material wasted trying to get a feel for it. If I had enough money to invest in a new machine right now this would probably be the one I’d get. Hopefully soon I can scrape together enough to get the ultimate or even just the commercial for now and buy auto jaws as my needs expand. #LockBoss
I'm buying one after hearing that it runs through cigarette lighter. I'm just staring in the biz and I have to use my subaru brz. Don't want to install an inverter in it.

Was really considering that machine a few months ago. But I couldn’t find anyone that had much good to say about it
Unfortunately the Chinese give out too much value for the price, but I heard that the Shark's great, much better than the Futura, it's a good middle ground below Keyline, they're good, but way too expensive.
Every HPC product has quality from my experience, but it doesn't mean that the Chinese are any less.

I have been looking at the Triton for automotive locks, and now they have the Triton Plus. What are the differences and similarities of the machine? #lockboss
Practically nothing, slight internal redesign
Be aware the new Triton plus requires an internet connection. You have to keep you mobile hotspot on and have good cell service just to look up codes and cut keys. Terrible if you ever try to make a key in a spot with bad cell service or out of town.

I'd like to see how easy it is to swap the jaws from auto to residential/commercial. Also, kinds of key controls does it support? You always have the best toys PJ. #Lockboss

I don’t think it can code cut SC1 keys. And I don’t think it can cut kw1 keys. If it could cut those keys and all the single and double sided keys my ITL can. It would be great
It can, I have done it
It does it and it works, but it does not look like factory keys after cutting, because it cuts the keys flat without the bumps between bittings.
It's a great solution for key originating, but you should still get a proper duplicator.
@@SpringvisualTk need to take a closer look at this one then. The be of my vehicles has an ITL950c code machine, silca duplicator and SEC-E9 code machines. In my other vehicle I silca Futura na machine and a nomad duplicator. I just hate the boot up time for that machine. Cuts great though
@@2815Juan think of the Triton as a upgraded SEC-E9, but the upgrade is almost only the universal clamp, just like with the second gen xHorse machines

I see absolutely no reason to buy this over the dolphin xp005l
Commercial/Residential keys, on-board offline database, key engraving, key blank modification.
Also I believe the Alpha/Beta universal clamp does more than the Xhorse's M5 clamp.
Reasons to go with xHorse: daily bonus point for Benz/Audi/VW/ID48 dup if you have a VVDI2/Key Tools, Battery powered.
