  • I purchased the new Xhorse Condor Mini Plus II key machine and it lasted exactly 21 days before breaking. Xhorse flat out REFUSES to honor their warranty and help repair the machine. I spoke with Paul, Marcin, and Nuetrino. All 3 are worthless and will not help. DO NOT BUY. Contact me for more details.

    After reading all of the comments the Bad comments have made me change my mind about purchasing one. You should look after your customers Xhorse

    I have this same machine and love it no issues cut over 100 keys so far and still working great must be the first ones they made had issues

    Ours stop working and we bought it at American Key Supply. Thanks for sharing and wish we knew about this before. Also, American Key Supply is also not being of any help even though on their website it states 3 year warranty. Will have to file complaint with the Consumer Protection agencies in California and Nevada. All else fails, small claims court.

    You're right, they have very poor customer service. And if it won't change soon people will stop buying from them.
    I keep my machine very well maintained and cleaned. And i have 3d extreme that im using since 15' and i have never had to change the drill !
    And then i wanted to upgrade and a friend told me about this one.
    So far its been a year and 3 months, and it broke twice !
    One time the motor died and it took 2 months until I got it back.
    And after he came back and never really worked well and then died again. Now it was the motherboard. So the engineer asked me to do tests and every time until they get back to you. It's another day or two. I'm not aware if they do have a phone. I think that I asked them and they don't. It's really bad customer service and now I just got the new motherboard installed myself and it's going back to work after 3 months out so total 5 months it was out.
    When the other machine broke down, they sent me instructions how to send it via mail to Texas in less than a week I had it back and when your business depends on machine like this, it can be crucial.
    If this machine ever breaks down again and they won't replace it for a new one I will take them to court and make them pay for all this time

    I had issues with my Keytool Max and reached out to International Key Supply. I can tell they do not like supporting Xhorse products. the problem was it would not read any chips, at all until I got it up to date. It works fine now, but I don't care much for it or the Dolphin 005. I really don't like burning 1 side of a Honda key blank to calibrate before every use. I do like the option to make universal keys that come in handy of the weekends when the supplier is closed.

    So im a service technician for these machines in South Africa, theres only one way to fix that error, on the Motor Driver board( the small PCB inside the machine, not the main board, theres a resistor on the back of that PCB that you need to replace as they blow to easily they not strong enough, hope it helps

    So I have that exact cutter. My issue now, if you put like high security blade in say a hu100 or the single sided Toyo or Lexus ekey... decodes it fine. You put in your blank ekey or hu100 ...it cuts the blank but it does not cut it high enough on key ..as if its missing the last cut or two so when you put the two keys directly next to each other after decode and cut ...the new key looks like its not cut enough towards the head of the key if that makes sense. Ive recalibrated as well as updated and same result

    Well, I actually watched this video before ordering mine and here I am 4 months later with a very expensive paperweight, error code 20. There goes $3300 I guess. At least my dolphin xp-005 is still going strong! I will update if my supplier KEY4 is going to be able to help me out with this at all.

      @@RUclipsHandlesAreDumb I got no response from my supplier and couldn’t figure out how to contact Xhorse for help so I took the machine all apart. I couldn’t find anything wrong so I put everything all back together and it has worked perfect ever since. I’ve been using it to cut keys with no problems for the last month now. So it must have been a loose connection somewhere and unplugging and plugging all the connectors back in must have fixed it.

      @@monsonlockandkey sorry for the late response I ended up taking it apart myself because my supplier that I bought it from (key4) didn’t want to help me. After taking it all apart and reseating connections to the cutter driver board and putting it all back together it magically worked perfect after that. And it is still working great to this day.

    I also was in water when I needed help with them also talked to Paul not much help I thing at most times I know more then they did witch is sad I returned the mini key tool max and mini prog and mini obd lol they just keep telling to just buy another 1.. no thanks.

      error code: 20 Spindle motor abnormal, rotate speed can’t up to rated value..
      The problem is a burnt out resistor on the main controller board…
      Remove the resistor and solder a straight piece of wire across the connection that should fix the problem..

    You knocking a machine based on one incident! That is stupid! Yes it sux when this happens and I hate it as well but that does not mean that every machine does the same thing.

    What are your thoughts on the Triton plus?

      The Triton or the Black Widow cutting machines are officially and legally distributed by LockLabs and are serviced in Las Vegas, you wouldn't have problems if you bought them through one of their authorized distributers, though I honestly think this part of the deal in particular is what raises the initial price considerately.
      Because xHorse, and other (than the ones mentioned above) Hunan Kukai cutters like the SEC-E9 do not give exclusivity distribution deals, it hurts their warranty, but I much prefer dealing with a supercenter distributer like UHS Hardware that offer in-house repairs for out of warranty claims, technical support and customer service if you bought from them.

      eventually we got a replacement board and the error went away. Now it cuts the 1st side of a double sided key fine, but the second side too shallow. No, it is not a calibration issue.
