Just got my Geodnet up and running on the weekend, rewards so far are pretty good. My favourite DePIn project so far is WXM, but Geodnet could take over in a month :)
That install is too close to the other units, they will block it. Geodnet should be higher then the other antennas. I had to redo mine to get better visibility for satellite reception. I found same size pipe just 3 feet long to raise it. Btw, for WeatherXm unit, do you suggest getting helium version , as I have helium already at my location? Does the helium unit earn more due to WeatherXm using it to push data?
My favorite Depin this year so far is Natix for the simple reason that it really makes you get involved by requiring the use of your cell phone and being so involved you really learn what the project is about and I gotta say I love what they're about and what they're doing... There's a lot of potential in depin and several good projects, but it sounds like Geodnet might take the cake. It has one of the most useful (especially going forward) technologies and there isn't much competition (besides GPS itself). It's accuracy opens the door for a lot of cool tech and enhancing stuff already being worked on such as all the automated systems from drone deliveries to automated farm equipment. Some of them are currently limited because of GPS's relative accuracy limitations. Lot of potential here, and I'd say the one I'm most excited about in general, but especially so because a depin project is at the forefront, not some big corporation with a depin playing catch-up.

What happens if you live in a very rural area? The profitability calculator won't even bring up my location. I'd love to out one of these at my house and at my camp but sadly I don't think these things work out in my area(way up in the far north of nys)
They work in any area and you are not penalized if you are in a remote area, it would be the opposite actually. If you are in the empty hex you will have a chance to earn NFT and that will guarantee a chance for you to always have max reward.
I only have a Helium Rak Miner, unfortunately I'm the only one in my town that has one...LOL... so zero profits. But all Depin project are pretty cool !!
That height would of been tough/scary with a ladder lol. Ladder would of been cheaper but I had 3 Projects to work on that day/3 videos. So thought this was a no brainer.
From what I've gathered from this video, looks like this type of mining could be the future compared to ASIC mining; asic can be extremely expensive to get started and just as expensive to maintain, especially with the costs of electricity. Wish I knew more about Depin mining to qualify for this giveaway
I definitely like the concept of this. However in our area of Pennsylvania which I just looked at the map there is not much of anything going on there. This seems very similar to the helium Network where it needs to communicate with other miners in the area. And if that is not happening you're not really gaining a lot. But I would love to be able to support the project if I won one of these! What network or blockchain is the geode token on? as far as my favorite depin project I still believe is helium forward slash iot. Mainly because I feel like there's a lot more use cases for that but this one with the geode net seems very strong as well. And the hivemapper token is also a great concept with live updated images. Just wish I was still getting the same amount of rewards I was 6 months ago. Doing the same amount of work if not more and the rewards have went to a quarter of what they used to be
Do additional research. Geodnet is not functioning in the same way as Helium. Rewards are not connected to the proximity of other stations. It is preferable to be in empty HEX, then you will have the opportunity to earn NFT and always have a chance for maximum reward. Geodnet is on polygon but will have Solana coin as well if GIP3 is approved. Here is a fact to think about, Geodnet is having 86 0000 burn this month compared to the whole Helium ecosystem of 131 000 with 100x fewer stations.
you should have make a loop on the cable like all the other ones so if it rains the water drips off and not get directed to the whole where it might could find a way in
I lost thousands of dollars due to helium's mismanagement and are currently in legal despute which i am winning. I'm sure they won't sell their coins to pay off their legal fees. Just keep HODLing completely centralized coins interested in mass surveillance. Honestly, i got what I deserved and so will you.

HiveMapper is my fav DePin project 😉 one of these would be super cool to install next to my 15db antenna still running Helium bobcat 300 miner.
Zip ties are only gonna last couple years then they’re gonna rot. I would look for something more permanent to strap them with a padded clamp.

If you go for the weather xm weather station you can then use a byod licence from fry to mine fry tokens off the same device.
Favorite DePin project so far has been DIMO simply because all the others have been 6+ month waits.
