always love the sound of tinkling glass when the waves go out. the telephone is cool. thank you for a the round-up. like seeing the finds clean & in more detail.
You're such a tease, Aard! 😜 Psyching me out when you already had lots of coloured glass waiting for Nicola. This was a really lovely lark. Hope you are keeping well. 🤗 See you next time. 😁🤩👍👋
Very nice finds , thank for sharing your video with us. You found some very nice marbles today. Your friend Shirley from new Bern, north Carolina USA ❤❤😮🎉🎉🎉😅😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Please don't leave those beautiful beads. There were quite a few. They can be strung on a piece of old string or dental floss. Now I do see you picking up beads. Good, they are so beautiful. I'm happy to see you picking up the beads now. Made my day. You have found some amazing marbles today!
Awww, missed a black shiny button 2:23 I believe. I love how close you get to the ground and you go pretty slow, not moving the camera all crazy. Appreciate that alot! There is so much, that I could be there daily scratching through stuff. Thank you so much for such a great video! New Sub!!
Always so fun to be carried along in your park with you - often I find myself creating whimsical birdhouses using many bits and bobs that I see - so lovely to see you and nicola together. - also love the glass that you are collecting for Nicola
14:56 near to that small screw top perfume, sitting upside down, I wonder about that amber bottle 🤔 I thoroughly enjoyed watching today's video. Thank you for another relaxing morning lark!!
There was also a tiny dark glass perfume bottle at 7:15ish to the right I think. Also saw some pretty glass bottle stoppers in the 1st few minutes to the right when Nicola bent down to pick up marbles. Was surprised she didn't take a look.😊
On occasion I become a Yard Larker. When I turn over the earth with a pitch fork I find marbles I carelessly lost over 60 years ago and I can not describe the feeling that overcomes me. I collected shards of glass from a 120 year old garbage dump and was inspired by you to assemble a fish on the grass which I took a picture of but I did not glue all the parts together to make it a whole fish.
I think you left some coins on 39.46 😆. I love your video's, those remind me of my "marbelous" spot I had somewhere in the Netherlands. It was not on a shore but on a farmers field. Found some beautiful ceramic bennington marbles, glass bottles, dolls eyes, beads, "duit" coins, you name it. Unfortunately the famer decided to put grass on the field instead of corn for the cows. Put a big load of mud on top first. So I lost my happy diggers spot. Still sad about it,
At 32:30 He finds a coin and stays standing around.. It looks like it might be an iron meteorite by the red brick there as it seems to have regmaglypts. Those could be pretty valuable and have fascinating stories to tell too!
Your secret treasure foreshore gives amazing amount of finds Aard! Lovely to see you and Nicola finding all the marbles. How lovely of you to collect all that colorful glass for Nicola's fishes. I hope to meet Nicola in London in two weeks, making a mudlarking week there. Happy Easter to you and your family!
At 40:14 it looks like a metal leaf under the rock I saw it when you picked something up! What a wonderful trip with Nicola to the Foreshore for a bit of beautiful finds. You both did so well finding many amazing treasures. Marbelous 😊 have a fantastic week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Great lark again, enjoyed it a lot! The bended metal thingy at 44:00 reminds me of the clamps used to put around the edge of an outside table on windy days to prevent the tablecloth from blowing away. It's probably something completely else though. Same for the tiny yellow object at 27:46, close to the button you picked up, might be a seed bead, or it might not.
I find it interesting that the fellow steps over pieces of pottery that have a picture on them, that Nicola would normally pick up. Wondering if the marbles are being sought for a special project?
@@MudBagger406406406 that’s a shame. Could be frustrating if you think something may be a little below what you can see. How about just raking over the larger rocks on the surface? I feel relaxed when I watch you (your boots or hands lol) ease out items. Thankyou.
The Esquire bottle was actually a kind of shoe polish/shoe shine! I found one in a ditch over here in the states and did a little looking to see what it was. Not sure on the date though.
Secret beach huh? Inspector Ms G will try to find out where that will be then. Probably western part and then south of Holland. I'm in the north of holland. No need to go to the Ems I think .. been checking here and there (live very nearby the Dollard, border). Maybe when you've got a boat and lark from out of the boat, and then nearby Leer or such. Enjoy! Love Nicola's vids and now Aard's as well!
@@MudBagger406406406 Not many from what I've seen (been on both sides around up to the first lock). It's a very different tide river system, and way less wide ofcourse than the Thames. I've seen no signs of shards and such. Maybe closer to Leer but the river gets even more narrow with very steep sides so I think there's no walkable bank with low tide there either. There must be stuff in there ofcourse but way to deep & below water surface. With a boat you can safely explore the sides when the tide is low on the river (I have no boat). Maybe people can find something there. If someone is out, a mud larker, nearby the Ems, he/she probably will have checke already too. I'm sure of that. The other rivers in Germany might be nicer, no clue. All we've got in the North of Holland is Damsterdiep and the Eemskanaal ... (and Eems/Dollard) but no real mudlarking there 🙂 My guess is that you're maybe at the rijnschelde kanaal or even closer to Belgium or nearby Rotterdam area .. There are rivers/waters of interest down there for sure. 🙂 I've heard and seen some clues in the videos. 🙄
My daughter has nothing with mudlarking, my son will join me soon again on a trip. The last time we went together, we dug out this black horse skull. And that is quite a while ago. MB.
Ok I finished watching this video, and firstly, this landscape that you explore is sensational, made only more sensational by your guest,Nicola! Between the two of you,you are a team of eyes, exper at what you do,and love,so very much. I make a linguistic promise to you: I shall no longer call ceramic”serammick” From now on,I will call it “Kerammick”. Why? Because it will always fall upon my ears as an improvement 🤣 This place,I have a good idea where it is,but will never set foot there. This is YOUR place, you only invite. It is a place of treasures, and wow the glass, good sir,Nicola will have a treasure trove of fish bits, thanks to you,and that shore of dreamy finds!!!!
I think that you’re singing Mr.Blue Sky....E L O.....have I guessed correctly?...Colibri was also the name of a cigarette lighter...the company was established in 1928🤩
Love your adventures with Nicola, BUT ..please don’t whistle..I know to each His own , whistling is my #1 thing that is annoying to me..and I’m sure others too…I literally turned off the sound 😱☹️. But i am not special..I enjoy listening to your conversations, and learning about your finds..
Go Nicola great find

I take all the beads, that I find. Soon I will make a short video of my drawer of beads. MB.
Lovely “crunchy” lark! So much fun. Love your glass shard collection. Nicola’s creative juices are flowing… fish coming soon!
Love your voice and how polite you are. Enjoyed the finds too.
Great video😎
This is a new concept for me. I’ve always walked around in Michigan looking for fossils, but THIS! Fabulous!!
Great video! 😀👍🇸🇪
What a fun time larking with Nicola White. Looked like you both found some amazing treasures. Thanks for taking us along for a view 😃

Great, you and Nicola together on a trip! 😃👍😍
Nice to see you both out again bouncing finds of each other xxxx
Like the way you get so close to the surface so that I can see at least some of what you see. Thank you.
Thnx ! MB,.

Enjoyed it 👍
I like this area. I kept trying to point things to you but no luvk! 🥹😀😀😀
Me too!
I think that one large white piece of glass would make a nice display base for a fish. Thank you for taking us mud larking with you !

Good evening from New Zealand
Good morning from the Netherlands. Wish you a beautyfull evening!
@10:23the screw top bottle with scuff cote on the side is shoe polish, a dauber was attached inside the lid.1950's
a nice video, it gave me a sort of "full immersion" view
Great video Aad , great finds and some great company!
Thnx. Can't wait to see her video and see what she has filmed. MB.
Wonderful finds and you found a nice day at the beach from your friend shirley from new Bern, north carolina u.s.a.❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😅😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Farmers fields can be great locations too. Too bad yours is no longer available. Keep larking. MB.
You are a great tandem together!))
Yes, we sure had some mudlarking fun. MB.
Scouts belt buckle, would be for. Troop leader! Well done
This badge belonged to the VVKS scouting group. MB.

Yes there is too much to see, too much to investigate.I always wonder too, why I did not pick up this or that. MB.
I saw the yellow bead also 👍
Thank you!
Love the enamel funnel ! Your camera is very smooth, so easy to watch .
The plastic soldier was manufactured in New Jersey by Thomas Toys (40s to 60s).
This soldier comes from the Roman Chariot set, c1955.
Again thnx Andy for the DTM. MB.
That sound, wow! Better than a wind chime.
What a super haul of glass for Ni ola❤
I find it interesting that the fellow steps over pieces of pottery that have a picture on them, that Nicola would normally pick up.
Wondering if the marbles are being sought for a special project?
There is much more to find here and our mission was collecting glass shards for crafting. MB
Happy Easter. Do you ever dig beneath the surface?
No, digging is not allowed here. The dikes are still important for us. MB.
@@MudBagger406406406 that’s a shame. Could be frustrating if you think something may be a little below what you can see.

Hello my friend 🙋
Look at the blue everywhere!!
The little blue bottle was likely Evening in Paris cologne.
Almost every time, I see ancient rock artifacts. Every time I wish I was there. The two of you should learn about them and collect them also.
Hi Nicola, fancy seeing you & Bagger together.
Happy Easter. Are you in Holland? Or Thames?
She was here in Holland with me. Soon in Chicago. MB.
The Esquire bottle was actually a kind of shoe polish/shoe shine! I found one in a ditch over here in the states and did a little looking to see what it was. Not sure on the date though.
Thnx! All info is welcome. MB.
were you making up the Mr. Marble song, or was it a parody of Mr. Blue sky from ELO? at some parts, it sounded like it😊
I made it up, when I found this blue marble. It made me happy, like the song always does. MB.

No, sorry, I have no use for all the shards that I see. MB.
Scuff Cote shoe polish bottle?
Lovely partners-in-Lark. Hope one day soon to watch you grown kids again join forces . . .
My daughter has nothing with mudlarking, my son will join me soon again on a trip. The last time we went together, we dug out this black horse skull. And that is quite a while ago. MB.
Nicola, when is your video coming out?
Ah, good question. All in good time I guess. MB.
In a couple of weeks! ❤
Right at the 10 min mark, you step on a dark little bottle, anyone know what kind it was?
What was the name on the fantastic little French bottle?😮
Why so many marbles there? And glass?
City garbage was dumped here. 90 % have gone, only shards and small objects remain. MB
I have more to say,but I am commenting as I go.
Are you whistling “Mr. blue?”
If not,you accidentally are🤣

D'où ils viennent tout ces déchets ?
I think that you’re singing Mr.Blue Sky....E L O.....have I guessed correctly?...Colibri was also the name of a cigarette lighter...the company was established in 1928🤩
Yes; a Mister Blue Marble song. Thnx for the input. MB.
Dear r mudlark., would you ever take someone else besides Nicola to mugdlark with you? Would you need a special permit.
Yes I do. No permit needed and you can keep whatever you find. MB.
Does Nickola need marbles for her fish projects
Some broken marbles will make nice fish eyes, so I save these for her to choose from. MB.
