@@Randomly_Browsing well, other than just aggressive depth of field, the old recoil isn't on the game anymore. You can't get new footage of that unless you use SPT on an older version. With the DOF on high, it blurs out the proof in the bottom left
So, as no one so far could answer elsewhere : why did the devs put 2 different "empty mag" reload animations for the vector ("pressing the button", and "pulling on the lever") ? And before you try, no, it's not because of the different calibers, I checked that before and that is not the case : ingame, for the same vector, your character can really use 2 different possible animations for the exact situation, reloading after you fully unloaded the mag.

I think they just made this category to put in rifles that fit somewhere between 'DMR' and 'assault rifle'. You could say that's just a battle rifle, but these aren't really battle rifles besides like the AVT.

An assault rifle is a rifle chambered in an “intermediate rifle cartridge” (generally any rifle cartridge smaller than 7.62x51) which feeds from a detachable magazine and is select fire (so just full auto or just semi auto doesn’t count). In game it’s completely misused as well. Both the sks and svt are definitely not assault rifles to name a couple.
Carbine means a weapon that is shorter and more compact than the rifle. Which means, carbine is a close quarter weapon while rifle is a medium/long range weapon.

You're right, this is probably SPT 3.7.x, the recoil on the pistols most noticeably is far less in the current live and SPT versions

Hello, I just bought the game, standard edition, but the guns have very little recoil, almost no recoil at all. What could be the reason?
This guy is filming this on an older version of Tarkov using SPT (single player tarkov) that was before the widespread patch that nerfed recoil.
