Looking forward to all the reviews. I didn’t even know that San Martin was a Homage until recently. I kept pausing the video to figure what was on your wrist though. And yes, VK movement for the win!
Thanks for the review and again for your reddit suggestion to wait a couple of weeks for the Legend Diver homage. Waiting for my green one to be delivered this week!
Yeah, I'll be watching them closely. This 1926 is freakin' awesome and incredible value (sapphire test was positive). They have a Hamilton khaki homage with sapphire for $45! Just nutty value as of late. Their ML01 is an awesome little dress watch as well. Banger after banger as of late
I'm in the same boat pretty much.. as long as the midcase is slim, I can wear it. I e got a couple watches in the 13+ mm range, but some is eaten up by a boxed crystal, and they have thin mid cases
I own the Longines Legend Diver 39mm. The lume is not good on that watch either. Perhaps SM homaged that aspect too! 😀Btw, the bezel action on the LD is like butter, but alignment is not perfection.(though quite good)
Lol, that could be. FWIW, watchdives confirmed my bezel is not working as intended...hoping to get a new case/bezel before the review goes live. Should be easy to turn and 120 clicks 🤷
@@EscapeWheelwill check my bezel as well after delivery, hope it’s working as it should without having to change the watch. Thanks for the honesty and solution!
The 126 is a looker for the price. Unfortunately, the S.M. is a complete downer for me. First, the flat dials are absolutely boring and dull, and when are they going to give us higher grade movements, at least as an option? Regards
I just bought the SM Legend homage as I've been admiring Longines for a long time. That blue faced IWC Militado looks NICE, but poor quality decisions scare me off.
Love these style of videos. Good job👍. The San Martin must be a let down for those who wanted the Longines homage, for the bezel loom and bezel movement. Longines are easier to access though, financially so, that's interesting to see if people prefer 250usd to the original. I want to see the Berny watch review, for sure! If they or a different Ali brand keep the name off the dial, I'd grab one. Berny is a nickname for Bernard, really never thought of that name as being cool or elegant to brand a watch dial. Cartier is well out of my price range.
The double signed crown on the SM is a weird choice. At least one, if not both, should be cross hatched. Seems like they have have cheapened out on that and just used a standard crown from their other models. I have been waiting for a long time for a legend diver homage but personally I wish they would have set the photocopier to 70% and given this some sort of unique twist (besides the signed crowns)
Why the heck did they stop offering them, do you have any idea? I have the Helson hammerhead 42 homage of the LLD but I would also like something smaller. Something like the san martin offered for a very limited time.
The bezel as a whole is pretty disappointing, but otherwise it is VERY "San Martin". Great crystal, solid bracelet, nice case shape, happy with the thickness and then those beautiful polished chamfer with those razor sharp transitions.

Lol, sorry, I meant to do a wrist check....36mm brown dial Baltany explorer.
@@EscapeWheel Hey man, no need to apologize. Anyone complaining about free content has some serious introspection to do. 😬

I ordered the blue dialed San Martin SN0141, it hasn't been shipped yet by Watchdives, but can't wait to get this!
Militado is turning out to be Baltany's Greatest Hits collection.
Really like their quartz offerings!

The Longines San Martin looks really nice!
Absolutely loving it
I so enjoy slimmer cases. I’m to the point where I don’t wear any of my watches that exceed 12.5 mm.

Thanks for sharing the similarities with the Longines, maybe it's actually true to the original haha

They should be using their smaller micro adjust clasp on that bracelet too.
Date option would be useful too.
I couldn't find the SN0141 on San Martin's official website & their Aliexpress store. Has they officially launched it yet?
It's on a few reseller shops on AliExpress.. the only "official" place to buy it is from watchdives.com through the link in the video description

”5 days later” 😂
So much plastic, and I didn't even get all the clasp peeled
I feel like im more likely to damage or scratch the watch trying to take off all the plastic than if they would just send it without the plastic… 🤷♂️
I thought RUclipsrs were contractually obligated to use the…a few hours later meme in these scenarios
Poor lume on that San Martin / Longines homage. Was half interested before seeing this. I'll stick to my Phoibos Eagle Ray...
It's weird...I can see a V2 fixing the bezel and bezel lume
@@EscapeWheel Hahaha always a version 2...

почему Вы не примеряете часы? Хотелось бы видеть, как они выглядят на руке.
See my full reviews for that. 👍
San Martin should offer a sterile/anonymous dial option.
They actually recently stopped offering that on their watches.

I have seen San Martin do much better than this SN0141W. Hard to believe this is a San Martin
