- The year is 2552, and Humanity faces extinction. For the past 27 years, Humanity has been at war with an alien alliance known as the Covenant. The Covenant have burned every Human world they have come across, and billions have died at their hands. Only a handful of worlds remain, and it seems as if Humanity's days are numbered, but the Covenant are up to something. A UEMC mining team at a dig site on a remote planet have gone dark, now it's up to the ONI SPECTRE Division to found out why.

I came in with low expectations and you blew me away. Absolutely fantastic first episode, looking forward to see how Sigma performs in a proper firefight with other Spartans.

Yep. It's called the "White Space". It's similar to the War Games on the Infinity (aka Halo 4's multiplayer). All I'm going to say is that it's definitely not as intense as Spartan Sigma was imagining it to be...

Which one? The snowy one with the Forerunner artifact is Athos, while the planet at the end is the planet Whitefall, which will be where the next episode takes place.

I absolutely loved it Jay! The 5 minute intro was done perfectly, and I love the variety of sounds from different Halo games in order to mix it up a little. I know that I've been a lazy bum in regards to auditioning and body acting, but I totally regretted not helping more haha. I've followed you since the days of Banjo-Kazooie Halo vehicles, and I'm glad that I stayed! :D Awesome work!

WOW WOW WOW. Great acting, great music and wow the filming was very good. Loved it. I'm my self is writing a couple of pilots out for future series on Halo 3 and Halo Reach. If you have any tips that would be great. Keep up the great work. You will some day be a great Directer. :)

no man halo reach had the best music you of all the halo games. but yet again we all have our own opinions.
I was talking about the sounds effects like what noises the guns and vehicles make but Reach's music was pretty good.

Dude you need to produce the sequel, this is pretty damned good and i was impressed with the accuracy in terms of the game story line and such, pretty good fighting scenes as well
I say amazing work. This proves no matter how old a game might be it can still be used to make an amazing machinima. I can't wait until episode 2 comes out.

Beautifully written. You put much time and effort into this machinima - it really showed! Aside from a few misspellings, everything was 100%! One of the best machinimas I've seen in a long time (aside from Rise of the Spartans). Great work! I would have to give it a 9.75 out of 10! ATHOS did a wonderful job of keeping me interested and I'm amped for episode 2! Also, you did a wonderful job on the intro; it was a great way to capture the attention of the viewers. People love seeing timelines on the screen, then a clip after that, and then it continues with the timeline! You did a wonderful job working within the limitations of Reach. Like I said before, I'm pumped for episode 2! Keep up the good work! :)

I think this is one of the Halo: Reach machinima greats. Fantastic filming, camera angles and body acting. I found the intro particularly fantastic with the use of actual halo information. I think this series could easily challenge RotS. The director has done a great job. I am looking forward to watching more. I'm subscribing and giving a like in the hopes for more! :)

Seeing as this is 2552, before the events of Halo: Combat Evolved, Sigma's armor, specifically his Mark VI helmet, seem pretty advanced.

Voice acting was kinda bad, but better/equal to most other machinimas. The rest of it blew everything else out of the water tho. It really fit in with the rest of the universe. Good job
