How does the battery storage work because it's made of metal.
Husband and a few viewers brought this up, too! As long as they don’t touch the sides they’re fine but if they’re in a drawer and roll around, you can add felt to the insides. I go through a lot of batteries so it won’t affect me but the felt will protect against strength loss with long-term storage. Hope that helps!! Xoxo

We bought a “Battery Daddy” Knock-off recently. It’s well worth the money because it has a tester too!!!
Several years ago I put my insurance and registration paper ins a floral pouch. In 2002 I was in an accident and when the cop asked for my paperwork I told him where it was and told him to look for the florals. He came back to me and said, Why doesn't every one do it this way? So even the emergency folks all knew where it was and appreciated it. Spread the word!

As a law enforcement wife, your “Don’t Speed” pouch cracked me up! 😂
However, coming from my husband, it’s best to keep your insurance info in your visor, right above you.
It’s easily hidden and secured with a clip. If by chance you do get pulled over, your hands are visible, and you don’t have to busy yourself in your glovebox. Especially at night! 😊

That’s true but not possible on my car, Chrysler 300, the visor has an enclosed mirror on the back, as many cars do.

Thank you Wendy. These are all wonderful ideas and tips. I had a grandson graduate from Officer Candidate School for the Navy and now in his training on the planes( he is a pilot all ready). Then another grandson graduated from our Technical College with a degree in car repair. He started his classes in his junior year of high school. Granddaughter got degree but is still working on her masters for Sport Medicine n therapy. Got engaged and we are doing an engagement party today. I did her cupcakes with white icing and gold glitter dust and sprinkles. So I understand about business and grands. I really need to rewatch this and write down the ones I need to do. Hugs dear heart I understand your emotions right now as my mom’s birthday was this past Tuesday. I did two rose arrangements for our sanctuary. Much love.😊❤

We had a sewer back up into our laundry side of our basement 9k dollars and digging front yard and then city water department had to redirect a sewer line under the street. Most of the blockage was from wipes and tampons...uggg we ha ve always told our kids and grandchildren only flush toilet paper Everything else goes in garbage can...anyways 3 plummers said Never Ever trust flushable wipes in toilet They are Not Safe to flush !!

My friend had to have a plumber bc of a baby wipe. I could barely believe that 1 wipe could cause any problem. He said never ever put anything in a commode x tiolet paper. A couple times I have accidently put a baby wipe in the commode! It hits me instantly that I did this-time to put on disposable gloves/gloves & go fishing b4 flushing. 😅😮

I suggest putting the tp and paper towels from the car crate into small trash bags or grocery bags. Also tuck a few extra in the crate for wet messes

Another tip for those felt pads is to use essential oil on pad and then stick the pad on inside of bin or under sink, etc..

Oh my goodness. That little funnel I have and can’t remember how I got it. You sure made me smile. And yes it’s so very handy in my kitchen. Use it to fill my dish soap op container that is in my sink. 😊

You know what’s funny is that when we first moved into this home, I didn’t think there was enough storage! Then I remembered when I used to have to fold our towels in a certain way just to make them fit into the ONE cabinet we had in our first apartment!! I love a good hack. A few more helpful hacks.. Use the clear crayon boxes or the travel soap boxes for the card games. Use crushed aspirin or a couple of pennies to your fresh flowers and they'll last longer. Binder clips are great for keeping your ponytail holders together. Also, use baby powder to remove sand from your skin.

My first thought too! I didn’t know you really aren’t supposed to flush them until they caused us trouble and the plumber told us 😂

I have flushable Clorox wipes in the bathroom.. I love them. I never flush them. I'm sure you can flush them. I never do, just in case. Better be safe than sorry.

Our granddaughters told their daddy that “it’s like Christmas when DD comes to babysit!” Our son-in-law asked why… and our sweet #3 said bc she reminds us of Santa clause with her many Walmart bags of things to do! “ they are all I. Their late teens! Early twenty’s now. But next week we have our3grandsons coming for a week while momma dad celebrate their 18th anniversary… no Walmart bags but tons of stuff ready to be active with and create memories! ❤ love your ideas!

Never let the ends of batteries touch each other! The same for button cell, as well. It kills their life span and who can afford that?! These were such handy ideas!! We have such a houseful that it’s hard to stay on top of clutter chaos so I love handy ideas and you nailed them!!
