  • I'm taking a 1959 Jeep FC (Forward Control) body and putting it on a 2005 Jeep Wrangler chassis. This is the third episode where install the re-fabricated bed and add some super innovative customizations!

Awesome! Beautiful design work and craftsmanship! What a grand pickup bed. It takes pickup beds to a whole new level. And, it's purty.

Thanks for your comment. I get so much from others RUclips videos it feels really good to contribute ideas to the community of car builders.

Where you driving this around the recent 2024 Reno, Nevada Hot August Nights car show ? I am a bus driver and somebody was driving a fully restored FC near the Atlantis casino/ hotel area.

WOW... love the new bed, can you share a few items.... the cost of the bed and bending? as well the parts used for the latches on the tail gate. I have been able to get the cab of my FC-150 ready to lift off the old truck frame, awaiting a VIN inspection before removal. Then I will get to working on the sheet metal repairs on the cab. I have found a TJ with a Chevy 350 and turbo 700 Trans! I think this will become my recipient for the cab and new bed!

Sounds like a great project. I’ll try to dig up the costs and links to the latches. I’m away from the shop but will try to get info asap

Well done! I’m looking at options for my 150 with extended frame. Any chance you found the cost for the bed? Thx
