Can we just appreciate the sheer dedication of the wounded soldier at the end? He's injuried, his buddy is dragging him, there's a wall of bastion behind them about to kill them and he still gives them every ounce of fight he can.
If you're going to die, you might as well die giving it everything you got.

The problem is that sublety won't work with people that don't get that 1 1/2 years after the game's release. All hope is lost for people like that.

The main issue is usually not Rein, but the idiots who run off. You have no idea how often a soldier will run past you and stand right befor the shield. like wtf, man.

Wow, I was sad during the bastion and mei cinematic, by this one really got tears running. This really hit the feels, but I think we can all agree that the blizzard animators have outdone themselves
This short makes the map and his voice lines like 1000% more emotional. I'm crying. That was so good.

Same. Came for reinhardt filled testosterone, stayed for the feels.
Its story of old soldier who is smiling on the outside, but inside is still full of regret of his past mistakes. Reinhardt is still trying to proof himself that death of his mentor and friend was not in vain and he will continue to do so until his last breath.

It's hard to say how much I appreciate the Overwatch Team for creating a masterpiece in our time and giving us the chance to be part in it.

He is sitting there on the throne, with dozens of killed omnics around him. Name one more appropriate and more badass way for a soldier to be buried.

1: I want that young Reinhardt skin
2: I want that Omnic Crisis Orisa Skin
3: I want a second ultimate for Reinhardt that gives him double hammers like that, or a second ultimate that makes him quicker tougher and hit harder like in this animation

as if I needed more of a reason to love Reinhardt and Darin's character
I've never commented on RUclips before. Let me start with that. I'm a Reinhardt main, yes. I'm also drunk asf, pretty messed up shit for my first comment, I know. I also play other heroes but Reinhardt hits close to the heart. This video, man. Brought out more emotion in me than I've felt in years. I could have made a funny comment about how Reinhardt says funny things "WIT" his accent. But I'm gonna leave that in the previous sentence. This hits close to the heart mostly because it was about Reinhardt. But what made me comment was not how the animation was amazingly executed. Or about how I love the game. But how it perfectly moved to my emotions! ( Watched it two times, one after the other). What made me comment is how beautifully everything is interwoven. Let me just give the proper shoutout to concept artists, animators/arts, sound technicians, programmers, producers(I know these people don't get enough), level artists, marketing(so moving many parts there, I'll just mention marketing), engineers. Really hope I did not forget anyone. Love you all. There's also the business part(other than marketing and producers) I'd like to put in this but I'm not sure how the rest of the team would feel. At blizzard I'd feel like they'd love it but not so many other places. But either way. Everyone that's touched the game OverWatch has done me a great favor. I probably started this wall of text with some thought about me loving Reinhardt and was going to end it with some German whatnot. Instead I'd like to thank you all. Thank you for making the best of what you all had and sharing. Thank you.
