This is really funny until you realise the next clip is Frankie Boyle on the racist door and you remember how good this show used to be before they had quotas for female or brown guests, everyone had to say at least one joke about Donald Trump and Dara would actually break down from laughing at people instead of riffing with the medicore jokes
Mock the week has really gone downhill. Hugh was onto a good bit of zoomed-in, specific material about jam but the other contestants just ruined it by butting in, laughing at him and defusing any building atmosphere. Mock the week's comedy was all about improvised, witty humour and now it's apparently about making fun of other contestants and putting on fake laughter in a last-ditch attempt to look like comedy. It's like everyone but Hugh, James, Milton and perhaps Romesh know how to laugh, but don't have the original MTW sense of humour.
