I love hearing clips like this. Being a stand up is one of THE hardest jobs there is (that you don't need loads of qualifications for) and I bet there's quite a strong bond and camaraderie between them all because they understand what each of them goes through.
I randomly looked up Acaster Beckett because I to me they're on the opposite spectrum of comedy and I was wondering if they'd ever crossed paths. Was not disappointed finding this.
What about this person's comment above warranted your response? No one asked for your opinion. Regardless, what are you doing on a Rob Beckett video if you "find it hard to tolerate him"? Keep yourself to yourself no one needs your negativity, jog on mate.
If you "hate to sound rude" then just, y'know, don't be - problem solved! Also if you find him hard to tolerate, you don't have to? As far as I'm aware no one is forcing you to watch him so really, going on this comment, you're putting yourself through a lot of unnecessary hardship! D'you think you might have self esteem issues?
KPOPFANBOYUK I want to sound rude. comedian roles aren't handed out, they become comedians, unless you mean he was invited onto the show. so the show's producers think it's worth having him on, quotas or not. Let's face it you shouldn't really comment on artistic worth when you obviously love kpop. It is utter drivel made to appeal to the less intelligent individual who likes mediocrity and is 20 years behind the times. the only saving grace of kpop is the girl groups and not for their talent.
"and he had proper jokes" absolutely destroyed me
James acaster is a national treasure
But has he seen Rob's dad in the bath?
From US. Absolutely love this guy! Best thing I found on 'lock-down'.
An international treasure
F being a treasure, he’s just hot! 😍😍😍
“I’m James Acaster, and I could’ve been anything!”
That was great back and forth between them! Loved the fact that Rob was just laughing his head off throughout!
I want to see Richard Ayoade and James in the same panelshow 😍
It finally happened on hypothetical!

My 2 favs!
"He shook our hands and had proper jokes" AAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Rob's comment about being grateful to the people that come to see him was actually really touching ;(
i know, that really surprised me, and he shakes their hands (probably not now, hes proper famous), really down to earth i imagine
Honestly it's just great banter
Rob wouldn't be on the streets if he hadn't become a comedian, he would have made a living doing toothpaste commercials.
Heh! yes rather :D
M. O'Sullivan - He could have made a living doing one toothpaste commercial, lasts long enough
Or he could imitate Louis Suarez... :P
or he could sell some ivory, could make a fucking piano out of all that!
'Rob is really looking forward to getting his teeth into countdown which means there won't be much of it left'
James Acaster is the best thing ever...
James Acaster all the Way, so under ratted i think he is a Legend.
Love the guy 😍
Rhydian Jones James, is that you
Yeah I agree definitely not enough rats with that guy
More ratting for James!
Yes... we should get some sort of infestation going for him! Plague, here we come!
YOU JUST GOT RATTED!
i come back to this clip whenever i need a laugh. never fails me. love james acaster
love james
"and I coulda been anything!"
fucking goddamn that kills me
I've been missing my James Acaster fix. That was a good one.
I relate to this Acaster guy on a fundamental level
Acaster's humor is A-level.
The family meeting in the public pool! OMG!!!!

I have such a HUGE crush on James!!! 💚💛💜
I feel ya
Me too.
Same but idk how help
Same
This is the longest clip I’ve seen of Rob that didn’t involve the word “innit”.
Love both of these guys.
I really want to see James Acaster on The Big Fat Quiz.
Who do I need to shout out at to make that happen?
Jimmy Carr u need to tweet him stay safe ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜😃🧘🏾♀️
He is on this year!!!!!
@@gokulluke Your're right! I just saw that announced & that it's coming out on December 26th.
That is excellent news.
so who did you shout at
I know this comment is 2 years old but are boy has been on it twice now and it was great!
James Acaster is funny.
James is the best
2 excellent or even brilliant comedians with such different styles.... and great respect.
One brilliant comedian & a BBC woke box-ticker with comedy equine teeth!
Btw I'm aware that James is very woke too...but at least he's super-smart, original & funny.
@@philiphudgens4726 yeah, James really is intelligent. I don’t know too much about rob
I randomly looked up Acaster Beckett because I to me they're on the opposite spectrum of comedy and I was wondering if they'd ever crossed paths. Was not disappointed finding this.
Derby ayyyy, sometimes I forget that my home city isn't always invisible to the rest of the world
Ay up mi duck
Mobius Grey I've lived there for all of my life and I only just found out that's how you spelt it
Better than being from Ashbourne...
woi oi derby lads
I think rob Beckett is hilarious, especially on this and celebs go dating.

his narrations are the only reason i watched it...

i wasn't the biggest fan of Rob but on taskmaster i grew to really like him
Acaster is a funny guy..
Pause it @ 1:05 Rob's face is priceless.
I will... but this better be worth it.
Which episode is this? Can’t find it in full
James 'Could'a been anything' Acaster
"What else did they say?!" When you know it gets under their skin and you just rub it in a lil harder loved it. James is funny AF tho
I love Rob but I love James much more.
"where would Rob be without comedy? Probably beavering away constructing a dam" Jimmy Carr, 8 out of 10 cats does Countdown
I really like both of these guys but I totally understand what the heckler said about “proper jokes”
Which episode was this?
Think it was from a Xmas compilation of the best moments and not on an episode. I think this might have been an outtake or 'behind the scenes' skit.
Wish I'd see the this episode - Noel Gallagher would have been priceless
Can you imagine if James had been something else though? Like, imagine if that guy was an astronaut, or a lawyer. :D
I weirdly fancy Rob Beckett. A handsome man :-)
Nothing weird about that. Good looking fella.
@@shmookins Yup - his wife's a lucky woman :-)
It's Vs. not vrs.
How can people say, at this point, that James Acaster is underrated?
I think the BDA would have given Rob a job he has plenty of experiance with teeth.
Cockiness is only funny when it's sarcastic, ironic, or defendable.
Pardon Me your point is?
Water is only hot when heated.
Bounded funny doesn't sound fun to me.
Jesus, it wasnt that fucking funny.
I find Rob to be just a loud, big toothed, dullard. The only thing funny about him is the way he looks.
