Honestly I didn’t know that at first until I looked at it again and it made me think “okay this isn’t just a mattebox where I gotta spend $1000 just to get filters” haha
Great video! But you didn’t link the 82 - 95mm Adapter Ring in your links in the description. Which one should we buy? There’s so many options out there. Can you add a link for us brother?
Matteboxes cut out sun glare and also are possible to get higher quality filters NDs are just that , an ND , the benefits are separate and don’t exactly overlap
The wooden handle sure looks tasty 👌🏻 do you feel like a vmount is needed for power over internal power for the atomos/sony? Or is it more of a look, weight improvement to give you more stability? Great video bro!
Both and neither , like you could use Z batteries no problem tbh , but the fxlion with the USB c on the back is handy for battery charging without a dummy battery!
This is my fear also. I’ve heard rumors. How do you avoid this? Also does powering both you monitor and camera from the same v mount increase the likelihood of this happening?
@@paulteelproductions1461 not sure about it. But the sony tskes exactly 7.2 load or a bjt mkre at max charge . So the camera can deal with it s proprietary battery but when you connect a dummy you have no idea what the big battery gives out. Even sony said that it burns the boars and voids the warranty .also tbey made an accessory dummy that uses 4 npfz bats bcz kf that...they do nkt say anything about the fx6 fkr wxample its ok i guess. But a7 model i wd avoid. It dos not eat so much battery anyway. If ut is long filming thwn maybe a camcorder or a battery pack to the usb wd be a better option .2c
What are your favourite Sony a7iv accessories?
Tilta Cage!
@@Jsmooth1174 worth the money , a great cage 💯💯
Love the personality in this video. Informative but not dry.
Thanks man 🙆🏾♂️🙆🏾♂️
Favorite accessory is definitely a PD power bank for me.
Ooouf an underated accessory , real handy!
Great quick video. I love that the mini matte-box has threads on the outside for filters!

Thanks man ! More content coming soon!
Amazing video bro. Do you recommend Smallrig Mini Matte Box Pro, the one with 3 French flag flaps ?
Either or, I’ve never had one with thr sides tbh

The adapter ring comes with the mattebox👍🏾
@@KofiYeboah wow Thank you! Appreciate your fast reply! You’re amazing bro! We all appreciate your guidance!
What is the advantage of the matte box vs something like a Variable ND filter?

Great video, informative and entertaining! Thanks
Thanks for watching and coming through !

@@KofiYeboah absolutely! Thanks man 👌🏻
Awesome, the exact video I was looking for. How easy would it be to switch the camera from this setup to a gimbal?
I gotta update this rig , because it would in fact be difficult 😅
does the Shinobi get signal when in 4K 60 on the a7iv?
I sold my a7iv since this video, so i dont remember
what if i wanted to use the zoom on lens? how would i be able to do that with the rods?
Just move the support back really
What about follow focus
There’s a review of one on the channel
Aren’t those rods 16” length rather than 12”?
they might be longer, bit of a typo! nice catch!
Redo this but with 8 inch rods
Or just get smaller rods instead ?
dtap dummy = void warranty sony and burned motherboard...
