Thanks Trevor for interviewing Hopewell. It was an eye opening conversation. As long as we have ZANU in power nothing will change. They enjoy the suffering of the citizens. He is such an intelligent person and all this knowledge is being wasted. Zimbabwe can turn into a glorious nation within six months once we have good leadership. Our nation is blessed with everything, but we don’t have leadership.

I am impressed and inspired by your compassion for the poor people of our Country. If only we think of others first before ourselves, especially us the elite, God will take our nation far. I have been challenged to do self introspection and I have asked myself if I am not also selfish and not doing enough to the poor people of my clan. This interview is quite rich and informative. U don't have to argue about sanctions Trevor, we have enough resources which can sustain us during this difficult times. Rhodesia and S Africa were once under sanctions but they thrived because there was transparency and commitment, if the government can stop corruption, nepotism and maladministration, and open factories to produce our products u will see we can thrive. Zanu-PF is using chaos as an environment to loot.

Since 1980, Zimbabwe has been ruled through personal power rather than rational power. It is compounded by the fact that those in power had the agenda of turning it into a one party military state like in China during Mao's time. We are not Chinese but Zimbabweans and therefore need to run our country as we want to. Brother Hopewell we need many more people like you. God bless.

Society has been extremely polarized - there is no transparency and nobody knows whats happening. Most of the people simply support what they understand and they believe that the best way forward is trying to win on what they understand at any cost. So there is a lot of frustration and people are easily insinuated to be violent because there are so many things wrong. And these leaders breed on the chaos! Thanks Trevor. The reason why we have become so toxic is because on the one hand man on the street in Zimbabwe as well as those on opposition politics are suffering and have suffered for too long and therefore feel that enough is enough while on the other hand those who are benefiting from the crumbs falling from the Zanu gravey train also want to hold on to those benefits so there is no compromise from either side

you will never get such constructive critisism on zbc.some may feel hurt by what chin, ono is saying but a clever leader keeps such bold minds close and try as much as they can to work with them, because journalists like chin'ono are with ordinary people on the ground.they represent the masses.i wish we could have more platforms that bring positive critisism so that leaders can never sleep on a job
