Thank you Trevor for these great interviews. You are doing something Zbc has never been able to do, show the best of Zimbabwe, its greatest asset, its people!
I recommend this to anyone interested in breaking barriers and crossing career boundaries
This ranks amongst the few interviews I have liked so much, RUclips must introduce a double like, please
Wow this is powerful. I have to be honest I had always skipped this video because of the name Nkala. Very inspiring, I liked the analogy that children respond more to stimulus around then, fall but always get up. Yes whatever failure in life is a learning experience so you emerge stronger
Wow! Some people are born Great, Some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them! I don't whether this is possible but I think Mukoma Herbert has all three on him. Thank you Mukoma Trevor for such an inspiring interview. I am quite inspired and am listening to it repeatedly without being bored! Thanks once again!
Great motivation from this man. This is a great business leader!
18:05 Very profound insight. Thank you Trevor for bringing Herbert on the discussion
Herbert Nkala is a great leader, fll of wisdom and very humble. Liked listening to this interview a lot. Very inspirational. We need more of these and hope young people can benefit from such wisdom.
Successful people read, read and read not to get formal education but empower oneself! As a continent we need to realize this.
Mr Herbert Nkala is a businessman I have looked up to from the time I was a young boy during his days as Marketing Director of Dairibord and then running RTG. A true titan
I was there when Hebert came to Zimbabwe Tourism Investment Company (Pvt) Ltd which in true marketing fashion he soon turned into the enduring ethinically grounded Rainbow Tourism Group we know today.
It was amazing how he could switch from an uncompromising corporate monster in one moment and the laughing loving father figure in another.
I remember him threatening that he was going to be a career director in his retirement....i guess the man leaves a strategic life, all the way!
Trevor thanks for showing that in Zimbabwe problems are political problems, because we have great minds , minerals, land and everything. Its so sad that we are poor as country but with great thing. #Zimpolitics is toxic....
I spent a weekend at this mans house in Glen Lorne one weekend in 2013 & visited his chicken farm in Ruwa. The few moments that I spoke to him, I learnt 10 years lessons in one weekend!
Well well what a conversation....amazing and inspirational indeed
The beauty of the specialist manufacturing sector is shining out of these Dairiboard legends. Am amazed by the role of industry. Thanks Trevor for giving us an opportunity to interact with these icons. I liked KK as well.
Such a well-rounded and inspirational gentleman! I thoroughly enjoyed this interview.
Man o man. We have such great leaders in business and I’m truly inspired. Loved Herberts point about stimulating tourism via domestic market.
What an inspiring experience!
Thank you for the program Trevor
Great Leadership from this Guy;
I enjoyed this video. Honestly learnt a lot.
Would be blessed to accomplish atleast half of what Mr.Nkala has done .
No one is self made, there is always a catalyst; lucky is where opportunity meets preparedness. Your first degree gives you the ability to explore other avenues. Great interview..THE LONG 'MARCH'.
Great and educative conversation there. Very inspiring indeed.
Worked for him at one of his companies. It's true that discipline is a non negotiable with him but he is a father when it is time to be one.
He is a colossus as far is buisness is concerned
Thank Mr Ncube for these conversions they are very inspirational.
Profound conversation.
I benefitted a lot from this. Insightful indeed.
This is powerful.
Great conversation, very inspiring,
Amazing accomplished gentleman. Well done Herbert siyalilandela!
Very insightful.
Siyabonga Godlwayo for raising high i flag yako Mahlayibayithwale
Great man
Wow the importance of shadowing
Great corporate luminary
Amazing how his beliefs and values systems are so divergent from those of his late Uncle Enos Nkala especially considering his close association with him.
Inspiring sir
Trevor do you know that i hv high repects for you.plz why cant you advice ED to do the right for the nation
why can't people with such brains help run our tuckshop of ZIMBABWE?
Hi..Herbert Please turn that house for the Late Enos Nkala ..to a misemu..
Please could you get your brother Mr Titus Ncube on the show
Dairibord Chipinge remembers you dearly Mr Nkala👏
Enos Nkala He left a legacy of being a killer. But otherwise great interview. Learnt a lot👏
Thank you Trevour, this program is really useful, thank you once again
He is talking sense bt domestic tourism will not be able to sustain tourism business for long. Not many people in our economy r able to drive to vic falls for holiday. It becomes a situation of priority either its important to feed the family, pay fees or go on holiday, I'm sure for a large proportion of our population the later becomes a luxury
He said it's going to be a start and I agree. We obviously have to start somewhere
@Kundai Tembo. The few that can afford should.
@@gugulethundhlovu4241 can those few be able to sustain that industry and avoid furloughing or even staff redundancy. We can only hope so. And who is going on holidays considering the times that we r living in. Like u said it cud be a start bt we can only wait to see how viable that could be
Herbert is the man!!!
18.05 insightful
The political power behind his ascescion was kindof avoided, but l smell huge political enablement
I don’t think it matters if one is qualified.
Of course he is Enos Nkala’s brother,s son.
Mthulisi DubeAre you saying that if you're related to a politician then you should get top private sector positions? It's about the qualifications, that's what matters, meritocracy.
Clearly from his narrative you can see he succeeded because of discipline, hard work and sheer determination. This is in sharp contrast to Zanu idiots appointed to positions
@@johnone6159 you will rise with easy unlike non politically enabled qualified people,
Why do we always suppose that it’s young people who need learning?
He wants to inspire them, to be a role model
matangi Daura can’t he be that to adults as well?
I am 56 years old and have learned a lot.
They still have more time and energy to make it right.
Trevor is biased
Why do you say so?
