    Thank you for this video. I found it super helpful. Is there a Part 2 of this video that shows the actual results and interpretations for each of the parametric and non-parametric tests you mentioned?

    Hi bro. If you have 10 items using 5 likert scale. The total mean generated from SPSS would be more than 5. It could be, for examplr, 28 or even 33. So how to get the total mean to be out of 5. Thank you

    • @nadiatulasyikin
      @nadiatulasyikin Год назад

      Mean = average, so u cant get a mean of more than 5, even if u have 100 items. Mean caluculation= sum score of all items divide by the total number of items

    Why mean and not median if it's ordinal?

    • @MohamedBenhimaPhD
      @MohamedBenhimaPhD  Год назад

      Yes, good question! It depends on many assumptions like the types of tests to be run, hypotheses and objetives

    Can i use ordinal regression?

    • @MohamedBenhimaPhD
      @MohamedBenhimaPhD  Год назад

      Yes, you can use that in case the dependent variable is on a Likert scale

      @@MohamedBenhimaPhD Thank you for your reply. My dependent variable is on Likert scale, but I computed the mean based on their domain/group (let's say per group has 3 items and all respondents answer 3, my computed mean was 3). Can I then regroup this mean score into categories and run ordinal regression or its best to run multinomial? Thanks!
