I had no idea this song had as many nods to other charts as it did; I've watched previews of like all the charts in this video a billion times and never made the connection til now, that's cool as hell.
I absolutely LOVE when DDR makes charts that reference other charts like this, and this was so well done, ESPECIALLY the PARANOiA section-how they went in sequential order within the chart (and the way you illustrated it too was SICK), I got chills. Wonderfully done!
Which part of PARANOiA Revolution's expert charts are being rused from the original songs? 360 BPM: Healing-D-Vision (Expert, pre-DDR X timing), jumps from first 360 BPM speedup SILVER DREAM (Expert), first chorus The Legend of MAX (Expert), intro Anti-Matter (Expert), first 400 BPM portion TRIP MACHINE PhoeniX (Expert), ending MAX 300 (EXPERT and X-Special), near-ending portion Fascination MAXX (400 BPM green jumps) On the Bounce (Expert) main portion of song Trigger (Expert), 400 BPM ending Slowdown to 180: PARANOiA, PARANOiA MAX (DIRTY MIX), PARANOiA Rebirth, PARANOIA Revolution (all expert), sequential endings PARANOiA Eternal (old expert/X-Special), up jackhammers PARANOIA Survivor (Expert), ending PARANOIA Survivor MAX (Expert), ending PARANOiA (Hades) (Challenge), 300 BPM ending, but 8ths are 16ths Speedup back to 360: New Decade (Challenge), main 400 BPM part POSSESSION (Challenge), 370 BPM part before the death run Brief stop MAXX Unlimited (Expert), 320 BPM intro CANDY (Star, Expert), Middle portion of song BRILLIANT 2U (Orchestra-Groove) (Expert), main chorus of song Fascination (Eternal Love Mix) Challenge, jump galore from 400 BPM ending Pluto Relinquish (Challenge), Last 400 BPM portion before 805/806 BPM freeze jump ending Valkyrie Dimension (Expert), 390 BPM ending
On 3:22, some people thinks that this section was came from Dance Dance Revolution (Challenge) but I see how this was came from Brilliant 2U Orchestra Groove rather than Dance Dance Revolution (song).
Correct! They think it is from Dance Dance Revolution Challenge, but is actually from B2U Orchestral Groove ESP (the portion used by Dance Dance Revolution Challenge). So, it is officially from BRILLIANT 2U (Orchestral-Groove)
Saying that the 3:22 portion of the chart is from Brilliant 2U Orchestra Groove would stick out like a sore thumb. Dance Dance Revolution CSP is the better way of looking at it since all of the other 360 bpm portions are boss songs.
@@elblogdelfeno actually, I found out the difference between Dance Dance Revolution CSP and Brilliant 2U Orchestra Groove ESP. It’s the very last step in the portions where both finish on the left arrow. The original finishes with the up arrow.
I really like how much Pluto Relinquish has impacted the series. At the time of SN2, it felt like the most impossible song in the entire franchise, and now Paranoia Revolution simply says "hold my beer." And yeah, this comment is 5 years late lol
@@C4_Shaf But anything under a 15 becomes stupid hard lmao. That candy section is brutal as hell. However, that paranoia hades section takes the fucking cake.
This makes me emotional. when revolution first came out i legit cried seeing all those charts revived
I'm crying :'D
Awww, so sad. I can't even beat Revolution. =\
I had no idea this song had as many nods to other charts as it did; I've watched previews of like all the charts in this video a billion times and never made the connection til now, that's cool as hell.
like the transitions on the paranoia songs, this video is very well made in general.
i teared up ngl
The original Paranoia being used in the slowdown is SO damn cool
This video gives me goosebumps for some reason, these references make Paranoia Revolution an EPIC and LEGENDARY song
this is such a breathtaking love letter to the series. i adore this song and chart, seriously makes me emotional.
NOTE: Healing-D-Vision uses the pre-DDR X chart for the references
This chart is incredible. I love how the breakdown is a callback to the main PARANOiA songs. 😄
I was only today years old knowing this....
You are now 2 weeks years old

This song's a true masterpiece
Was wondering where the paranoia songs were referenced.... all makes sense now
this is so cool, thanks for making it!
This is amazing thank you for making it
Also, PARANOiA MAX ~DIRTY MIX~'s expert chart's climax was used in Revolution's Difficult chart.
This hit so many memories it’s not even funny. An awesome video man
ty for making this, very well put together ^-^
Which part of PARANOiA Revolution's expert charts are being rused from the original songs?
360 BPM:
Healing-D-Vision (Expert, pre-DDR X timing), jumps from first 360 BPM speedup
SILVER DREAM (Expert), first chorus
The Legend of MAX (Expert), intro
Anti-Matter (Expert), first 400 BPM portion
TRIP MACHINE PhoeniX (Expert), ending
MAX 300 (EXPERT and X-Special), near-ending portion
Fascination MAXX (400 BPM green jumps)
On the Bounce (Expert) main portion of song
Trigger (Expert), 400 BPM ending
Slowdown to 180:
PARANOiA, PARANOiA MAX (DIRTY MIX), PARANOiA Rebirth, PARANOIA Revolution (all expert), sequential endings
PARANOiA Eternal (old expert/X-Special), up jackhammers
PARANOIA Survivor (Expert), ending
PARANOIA Survivor MAX (Expert), ending
PARANOiA (Hades) (Challenge), 300 BPM ending, but 8ths are 16ths
Speedup back to 360:
New Decade (Challenge), main 400 BPM part
POSSESSION (Challenge), 370 BPM part before the death run
Brief stop
MAXX Unlimited (Expert), 320 BPM intro
CANDY (Star, Expert), Middle portion of song
BRILLIANT 2U (Orchestra-Groove) (Expert), main chorus of song
Fascination (Eternal Love Mix) Challenge, jump galore from 400 BPM ending
Pluto Relinquish (Challenge), Last 400 BPM portion before 805/806 BPM freeze jump ending
Valkyrie Dimension (Expert), 390 BPM ending
Holy crap
How did I not notice that Max 300 one??? Loved playing that song
Thanks for this, was looking for some referencial material like it.
Now I love my favourite paranoia song even more. Whoever at Konami thought this up is a genius.
I was hoping there would be a simultaneous comparison at the end. Its hard to translate the slower songs in the chart
I was wondering why this paranoia felt so familiar lol
Specially the Anti-Matter part
On 3:22, some people thinks that this section was came from Dance Dance Revolution (Challenge) but I see how this was came from Brilliant 2U Orchestra Groove rather than Dance Dance Revolution (song).

It's amazing how a single song can contain so much history! Thanks for uploading this! 😁
Awesome video! Thanks for making this
Imagine if the PARANOiA Survivor references were at 360 BPM instead of the Replicant-D-Action songs?
It would be a Challenge version
Good I had no idea there was more to this chart
Saying that the 3:22 portion of the chart is from Brilliant 2U Orchestra Groove would stick out like a sore thumb. Dance Dance Revolution CSP is the better way of looking at it since all of the other 360 bpm portions are boss songs.
Tbf Orchestra Groove was an unlockable song in DDR 2nd Mix, in that sense it would be analogous to Candy.
@@elblogdelfeno actually, I found out the difference between Dance Dance Revolution CSP and Brilliant 2U Orchestra Groove ESP. It’s the very last step in the portions where both finish on the left arrow. The original finishes with the up arrow.
Wow, so this is the definitive ddr song :0!
This is awesome. Thanks!
They should have put a reference to butterfly as one of the most popular licenses from ddr
All those difficult songs in the chart and Candy was randomly thrown in there. 😂
this makes me shocking... I like this.. thanks a lot..
26 references of other ddr songs in 1 boss song
Long Live Naoki, the Dynamic Dynamite Raver.
but this isnt a naoki song
Amazing video
Amazing!
Now people can know why paranoia is such a mainstream song in DDR
Without it, DDR wouldn’t be what it is.
1:44 The Best Part!
How about doing Double Expert
hey bro can i copy ur homework? ya sure just make sure you change it up so it’s not fully noticeable
Jordan Orvik they coated it perfectly to be fair
Its all the fun parts of the songs you hate. :|
That's amazing. :D
I really like how much Pluto Relinquish has impacted the series. At the time of SN2, it felt like the most impossible song in the entire franchise, and now Paranoia Revolution simply says "hold my beer." And yeah, this comment is 5 years late lol
This is why there is gonna be DDRlovers forever.
I like how this is arguably easier than paranoia hades and yet its paranoia hades section is way harder than the OG
Is this the same for the other difficulties ?
Now do EDP!
Kinda surprised they left out Paranoia Respect
unfortunately KONAMI treats paranoia respect like it is the bastard child of the paranoia series... no new charts, never gets any references...
Evan Johnson I personally think PARANOiA respect is the 2nd best one, behind this one.
i mean neither did kcet and the reason is simple
they originated from CS games
I didn't see Paranoia KCET either.
can you do the same thing for dance dance revolution csp? remywiki says that it also borrows sections from other songs.
ok
The only non-boss song is Brilliant 2U
What about Candy?
@@CaveyMoth Candy was One More Extra Stage on MAX
no wonder para rev felt so familiar!!
🥺 😢 😭 😫 YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS! 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
Paranoia -Respect- left the DDR pad
How did you recognize all references?
Wait are they comparing patterns?
And the similarities
Only remaining DP
Realistic
So, this is basically a combination of the worst parts of the boss songs throughout the years.
Most of those boss songs were at 400 BPM. The whole song is kept at 360, so it *kinda* eases the patterns a bit. Only a bit, tho.
@@C4_Shaf But anything under a 15 becomes stupid hard lmao. That candy section is brutal as hell. However, that paranoia hades section takes the fucking cake.
