    Salted Rosemary Syrup
MAKES ABOUT ½ CUP, ENOUGH FOR 8 DRINKS
    3 tablespoons sugar
    1 teaspoon Maldon sea salt
1 sprig of rosemary, cut crosswise into 3 pieces
In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, salt, rosemary, and 3 ounces water and warm over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and let cool to room temperature, then fine-strain and discard the solids. Store the syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

    Love the non-alcoholic video.
Tried them all...my favorite is "Don't Touch My Car Keys". (Needs a different name though. Maybe "Virgin Keys"?).
Had high hopes for the Salted Rosemary Paloma. Was too salty for my taste, and couldn't really get the rosemary unless there was a rosemary sprig garnish on the glass.
I think I'll experiment with a less salty (perhaps unsalted) version of the rosemary syrup in this and other drinks. The rosemary in the syrup is very nice.

I put a couple of dashes of Angostura Bitter in a glass of water and that made me feel a bit intoxicated. A little doesn't count, even for high-ABV. I guess that to many the point is not getting drunk so that they can drive in an hour or two.

So a “sprig” of rosemary will likely mean different amounts to different people. I like rosemary so my sprig might have been to big because I found it made a very strong, almost bitter simple syrup. This, unfortunately effected the taste of the Paloma as it was too herbal.

One thing I really dont understand, why cant the designated driver just have a drink? Even two with time and a meal theres no way you'd legally be unable to drive. Unless things changed? It's still only illegal to drive if you're considered legally drunk right?!

I mean you can do that I guess, but a lot of people don’t want to risk it. Here in California if you have ONE drink and drive within the hour you’re over the limit. Better safe than sorry I always say!
